Taming the mafia Lord's heart
Mafia "Mariana, Can we please not argue. Can't we just have a normal conversation?" I combed my fingers through my hair trying to calm myself down. I didn't want to shout at her cause if I did it would end the same way it did the last time.
"Okay then, Okay the great Lorenzo McLaren. Let's have a fucking conversation." She said and rose her hand up dramatically.
"Mariana please." I sighed
"I mean it's not every day you sit down and have a chit-chat with your captor." She said with a sarcastic tone.
"I need you to listen to me," I said with an exasperated sigh.
" No, you fucking listen, Lorenzo!" She yelled and poked her finger at my chest "I am fucking tired. I had a life before this, a fucking content life until this hellhole. I am overworked, I can't sleep, I have nightmares that haunt me even during the day. I am being treated like some slave. Hell, I am fucking tired Lorenzo. And you, you don't even notice, you don't even care!" She was breathing aggressively now, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Lorenzo McLaren is an underground Mafia Lord who controls New York City. It was why he could get away with anything.
