The Cursed Alpha's Mate Chapter 2
“Aysel.” I curled away from the person touching me.
I didn’t want to open my eyes. I refused to awaken to a world that hated me. The only thing I wanted was to sleep the sleep of death to join my parents in the world after. I didn’t deserve any of the pain and suffering that awaited me in the world of the living.
“Aysel, wake up.” My eyes fluttered open when the person shaking me refused to relent. “You have five minutes to eat before Monica comes barging in.” Celeste pushed a tray of food to me.
“I’m not hungry.” I sat up in my dark room, wiping caked blood off my lips. “What time is it?” I didn’t know how long I’d succumbed to the darkness.
“It’s morning.” Celeste brushed aside my question with haste, pushing the tray of food to me again. “The Feast of the Moon continues today. You have a lot of work waiting for you so you better eat now before you collapse doing your duties.”
It’ll be unfortunate to faint while working today yet my stomach was a tight knot that wanted nothing in it.
I staggered to my feet to change my clothes. The Feast of the Moon was a sacred and revered event held once a year. It would be folly to ruin it by showing up in a bloody dress whether I was an irrelevant omega or a powerful alpha.
Celeste sucked in a sharp breath when I took off my clothes with my back to her. There was no need to look into a mirror; I knew what she saw and I didn’t have a mirror. I felt the sting of Bethel’s belt on my back as if it happened a few minutes ago.
My teeth gnashed as I pulled on a clean black shirt, the stiff material of the cloth brushing against open injuries.
“I’ll talk to him,” my best friend vowed. I turned to her with a sharp glare.
“Don’t you dare.”
Celeste didn’t understand what I went through in this pack. As the beta’s daughter, everyone loved and adored her. She had pretty strawberry blonde hair and large, expressive hazel eyes. She was a beta, like her parents. Her parents never tried usurping the alpha. The only blemish on her person was her friendship with me.
The Cursed Alpha's Mate Chapter 3
“You can’t let them win,” I repeated my mantra in my head as two men held me down while a third lashes at me. The wounds on my back never healed. I didn’t go a week without being introduced to one or more new ways of torture. I’d developed a high tolerance to pain and to keep me down, Redville pack got more creative in their methods.
“They won’t break your spirit.” If I proved deeper, I’d find my spirit in shambles – what was left of it – but my mantra kept me going. The Redville wolves used me as their lab rat – the victim that they tested out new methods of torture on.
“I’ll be strong.” These words repeated in my head, a steady mantra that lived with me for the past eleven years.
Eleven years ago, my parents betrayed the pack. I had friends and a good life until they ruined it. They wanted more. My father wanted Alpha Zavier’s position and he went for it. My mother never learnt not to support her mate so through it all, through the secrets, the going about behind the pack, the infiltration of the Alpha’s circle and the subsequent attack, she supported him. I’d been nothing but a nine-year-old whose parents turned traitors.
They didn’t even get to rain down fire and brimstone as they planned. A close friend – a man my father promised would be his Beta at the end of the coup – chickened out at the last minute and went running to Alpha Zavier. He played double-agent for my father and Alpha Zavier but really, all his loyalty shifted to the Alpha. He didn’t believe my father could pull it off so thanks to him, the mission failed before its completion.
My mantra couldn’t help me this time. The chants in my head, the desperation to hold on to something, to find a bit of inner strength so I didn’t break, failed me that day. It had become too much. This, heaped on everything else I endured since yesterday, went past the mental barrier I struggled to keep in place all these years.
They’d broken me.
It was my worst fear coming to bitch-slap me. I tried to keep a part of myself, hold on to a bit of strength so I didn’t come off as a loser like my father but it ran in my blood. I couldn’t succeed. Whatever I did had to be wrong. Everything I laid my hands on failed.
The Cursed Alpha's Mate Chapter 4
I loved Lucien once. Along with Celeste, he’d been my best friend. His parents always quarrelled with him to stay away from me but he never listened to them. Things started to change when we entered high school six years ago. As we are older than Celeste by a year, it left the two of us as high school friends and Celeste still in middle school.
It was around that time his infatuation with Skylar began. She’d been the hottest girl in our high school. I didn’t blame him for abandoning our friendship and choosing her. They made a golden couple – the Beta’s son with his mop of curly black hair, lean muscular build, and long legs and the Alpha’s daughter with the perfect figure eight and shiny long hair.
Lucien couldn’t be friends with me while dating Skylar who hated me from childhood. She abhorred me even before she had a reason to. I let him choose his girlfriend before me but he wouldn’t let me go. He gave me false hopes that ruined what little reputation I had amongst my peers.
“Are you okay?” I could only nod at Celeste’s question while her brother cleaned my wounds. I assumed Skylar sucked out all the niceness in him through one of their many public kisses but he proved me wrong by coming to my aide and patching me up.
“These will scar.” He sounded disturbed.
Scars were nothing new to me. Scars decorated my back in their numbers, a map of whips, belts, canes, and everything else I’d been beaten with. The scars on my back were nothing; the scars on my mind were a telling of the pain that would never fade. I could cover my back and pretend I had nothing but smooth skin behind me but my mind lay bare to me, a constant agonizing torture.
“It doesn’t matter.” I pulled away from his lingering touch.
The Cursed Alpha's Mate Chapter 5
“What is that noise?” Monica asked for the tenth time while I washed the dishes used for the morning ceremony.
The Feast of the Moon would come to an end this night with a pack run and an initiation into the pack for those that mated into the pack within the last year. Every werewolf able to shift was expected to honour the Alpha’s Call at the first sight of the full moon. Alpha Zavier would howl to call his pack and those who could, would rend their human forms and gallop into the woods for the final ritual of the Feast of the Moon. The rest of us stood outside with our faces raised to the moon, praying for a successful initiation and the opportunity to partake in the next Feast of the Moon.
“What noise?” Claudia asked, pausing her washing to listen.
Omegas didn’t have as good senses as other wolves. We were the weak links in most packs, valued only for our empathy and service. Monica as a Beta could hear sounds hundreds of miles away but we the omegas could barely hear what went on a few feet away from us if we didn’t listen.
“It sounds like a stampede.” Monica frowned. The other girls in the kitchen paused at that. It was still early evening so it couldn’t be the Alpha’s Call that caused the stampede.
As a latent wolf, I had worse senses than all the other omegas so when one after the other, their ears picked up the sound of people rushing away, I still couldn’t hear anything. My senses were as bad as a human’s as a latent wolf- a shifter with a wolf trapped within.
I didn’t hear the sound of the chaos until it entered the pack house. A true stampede. People were running, yelling, doors slammed here and there, rattling the pack house. The other omegas in the room were frozen along with me as our pack mates fled from goddess knew what.
“What is happening?” A girl beside me asked the frozen room. It pulled Monica out of her frozen trance.
“Continue working. I’ll find out what is going on.” She closed the door behind her as she exited the kitchen on legs that quivered. Without her supervision, the kitchen turned into a chattering room.

Chapter 1 1
"Faith Adler!”
My name sounded like a thunderstorm through the principal's mouth inviting me to go and pick up the fake graduation certificate, everyone knew this was a piece of paper. The original was already available for pick up at the principal's office.
This was it, I was finally out of high school. I was finally going to be 18 and ready to help my grandma full time, age is really getting into her and she needs me to stop being a burden, I need to fend for ourselves; it is time.
I stood up from my seat with the applauses from everyone in the old gym, this is a small part of Indiana we lived in. This was the best for us, quiet, separate from everyone, not much drama going on. I believe grandma chose this place for a reason.
We've been moving here and there every two years for as long as I can remember. I think she didn't like to settle for long which had influenced on my social status, I'm a loner, I don't like to make friends. I learned that the hard way. We moved so much that after the third school and the third group of friends I left behind. I felt numb.
I took my seat back feeling my heartbeats slowing down to their usual pace, I hate being in front of big crowds.
I couldn't ignore the tears rolling off my grandmother's face, she's a bag of feelings. She said I reminded her a lot of my mom, but my attitude and black hair like night was all from my father.
I couldn't avoid feeling a little bit sentimental knowing my time as a child, as a teenager was over and I had to dive into the dark real world that she protected me from all this long.

Chapter 1 Where Was I
Stephanie Pov
I stood at the entrance of the gate, my heart beating uncontrollably at the sight of the huge gate. It was a place I never dreamt I could come to but an unexpected call brought me to the gate of our Alpha.
Alpha Gregory, a monster feared by all.
I grasped tightly at my bag, wishing I had refused the offer but then I had no choice. There were bills to pay.
The gate was slowly opened and a burly guard that looked more like an assassin beckoned to me. I walked briskly toward him and told him the reason I was there.
The burly guard insisted I wait so they could confirm if truly I was asked to come to the palace as the children tutor.
Yes, I was a teacher in the pack and I was invited by the Beta's wife to come and teach the royal children.
I waited for almost ten minutes before one of the guards, who seemed like their head, signaled his hands, telling his colleagues to let me in.
"Hurry up!" The burly guard yelled when I started to take slow strides into the pack house.
It was as if I was entering into a furnace of fire. The same way I was excited was the same way fear gripped my heart. What if something goes wrong?
It wasn't news of how ruthless and cruel Alpha Gregory was to everyone, especially those who wronged him. Maybe, I should have just rejected the offer.
He was the most powerful Alpha all over the territory. He was someone you shouldn't mess with, someone who wasn't scared of death or afraid to eliminate anyone that comes in his way.
He was a rude, arrogant, brutal Alpha feared by everyone in the pack including his friends.

Chapter 1 LU’S P.O.V
“Haven’t you made breakfast yet?” The beta screamed angrily at me.
“I just finished it Beta, I just need to put the plates out” I answered shakily.
“Fine! We’ll be waiting” he said before storming off.
‘What’s his problem? He always acts like that towards us!’ My wolf Lilac said in my head.
‘You know it’s because we’re the only omega. You think people would be excited to finally have one in the pack, but no they wanted to make sure I followed the traditional role of servant’ I replied to Lilac.
‘We just have to hold out for our mate, hopefully he is from a different pack’ Lilac sighed.
‘Well there is a ball that we have to cook for tomorrow… maybe there….’ I thought.
I grabbed the dishes and raced to set them out. I usually did the food buffet style because I didn’t have help, so it was easier this way. Usually the Alpha is the one asking about breakfast but he is on some sort of trip until the ball tomorrow.
‘At least Alpha is nicer than that jerk’ Lilac huffed. ‘He’ll be back tomorrow’ I replied to her with a smirk. The pack members at breakfast started putting food on their plates. I waited and watched, if I was lucky there would be leftovers so I would actually get to eat this morning…. Usually the pack members insisted that good food shouldn’t be wasted on someone of such a low rank and gave me the scraps from their plates. As a result of this I was a lot thinner than I should be, since they usually tried not to leave me anything… even though I started making larger portions.

Full moon night. Seen in a forest with large tall trees towering. A white wolf kept running into the forest. The wolf with the white book is actually Jenny who has been appointed Queen in the Maraja kingdom.

Jenny, who has changed her form, because she is afraid that she will be killed by her angry father. Finally he ran away from the royal palace of Maraja to save himself. Not only that, the king of Bruto ordered some of his troops to chase and kill his daughter who had turned into a wolf.

When Jenny passed two large trees in the forest, she immediately felt that she was entering another dimension where the forest was quite calm. The voices of the soldiers chasing him seemed to disappear. Jenny fixed her gaze. Sure enough, he didn't see any wolves from his father's royal army.
Because thank you, you felt scared, in the end, Type ran back away from the two big trees before finally meeting a man who was camping in the forest.
Seeing that there was a wolf, the man immediately took his sword because he was afraid that the white wolf would attack him.

Chapter 1 Betrothed to the Alpha of the crescent moon pack
♥︎Davina's POV♥︎
My head pounds like I have a toothache in my head and my whole body feels like a truck ran over me. It had all been a hollow-filled darkness till my eyes flickered open. At first, I met with a blurry sight and the lights were blinding me as I blinked repeatedly to slowly adjust my eyes to my environment.
The ceiling was white, the walls white, a monitor was beeping next to me, the whole room smelled like antiseptic and when I cascaded my glance downwards, I realized I was in a blue hospital gown. What the hell happened to me? I tried to rub my forehead but was restricted due to the drip passed into my bloodstream. The sound of babies crying caught my attention. There were baby cribs next to mine and like I had just found the missing puzzle in the haze of my memory loss, it came all right back.
"You have brought shame and disgrace upon this family." My father, Andrew Gregory had yelled at me nine months ago as tears flowed down my face while I flinched from the harshness of his tone.
"Who would stoop so low to impregnate you lowly life? You have been betrothed to the Alpha's son, what do I tell the Alpha now? And what would the pack members say about this?" My father's face contorted in rage, veins pulsating on his forehead. My stepmother on the other hand clutched her apron tightly and her lips pressed into a thin disappointed smirk.
“I think you should wait for her to give birth before marrying her off to Magnus Kane. We can put the bastard child up for adoption.” Emily, my stepsister who has never turned down a chance to bully me twirled her hair around her fingers.

Chapter 1 The Violation
Sara POV
People can change. All you have to do is throw them in the desired situation, and they'll become what you want them to be. At least, this is my strong belief.
I want Nickolas Reign to fall for me. I need him to want more from me. My desire for him and this belief in change are what led me to sign his damn contract. He does want me, but only for one thing. To satisfy his lust. I thought that if I gave him what he craved, he'd want more. He'll keep coming back till he can never let go.
I've been in love with Nick since I learned the meaning of the word. It's impossible to continue to meet him like this for "just sex" without letting him know how I truly feel. One thing was bound to happen this evening after we talked. His ridiculous contract would become void. And that was fine by me.
As I inhaled a lung full, I wiped my sweaty palm on my dress. Rising from the sofa, I went to the window for the millionth time to check if he was coming.
Today is not "our day," as he likes to call it. It is a Saturday. We're not supposed to meet for another three days. But when I texted, asking to see him, he agreed, saying he'd be there at 7. I like to think that's a good sign. Although it's already 7:15 PM, and there's no sign of him. Nick was never late.
My eyes roamed the living room and dining once more. This apartment has become my favorite place in four short months. It's the only place I can ever be with him. We can't be seen by any L.A. reporter or a member of the pack. It will cause an outrage. Goddess forbid that the future alpha should contaminate his father's bloodline by sleeping with a nobody.

Chapter 1 PROLOGUE
Her breathing was heavy due to the frigid air of the Colorado streets; her lungs burned with every deep breath as she desperately sought air during her relentless escape. In the distance, she caught the menacing sound of a whistle, accompanied by cruel laughter and a hate-filled promise.
“You can't escape us. We'll hunt you to hell, and you'll pay for your betrayal,” declared one of the pursuers.
“Damn them!” Agatha whispered to herself, exhausted. “Why won't they leave me alone?”
Turning the corner and entering a dark alley, she believed she had found temporary refuge. However, before she could catch her breath, heavy footsteps approached. A silhouette in the darkness emerged in the form of a wolf, teeth bared, clearly announcing imminent danger.
“Please, leave me alone... I promise I won't reveal anything to anyone!” Agatha pleaded with the creature before her.
“Ah, my dear, we can't let you escape. You carry our victory against him, and we need the offspring!” roared the supernatural being, casting a cold gaze that made her tremble.
“That wasn't part of the deal,” Agatha said, clenching her fists firmly. “It didn't involve an innocent. You used me!” she protested firmly.
“Did we use it? Haha, wasn't that exactly what you did to him? What do you think will happen when he finds out that you were an infiltrator who seduced him and bore his heir as a bargaining chip for another pack, just to gain money and power?” The tone of the being became even more menacing, urging him to advance toward her.

Chapter 1 Silent night
little Alice was tucked in her bed. Her strawberry blond curly hair was tied in a messy bun. Her pink lips formed a cute yawn as sleep was about to take her.
Her mom sat beside her, as Alice fought her drowsiness. She wanted to hear her mom's story, but she was sleepy.
"Let's continue the story tomorrow, Good night darling…" her mother kissed her forehead before she stood up. But Alice's little hand stopped her before she turned off the bedside lamp.
"Mommy, I still want to hear the whole story, please, pretty please" she pleaded with her mom, making a cute face.
"No Alice, it's time for bed already. You are dozing already, I promise to tell you the whole story tomorrow, okay?" Her mother assured her.
"But mom.." Alice tried to protest but was interrupted by her mother.
"No buts honey, you have school tomorrow" her mom declared.
"Okay Mommy, Good night," little Alice said in a sad tone, which made her mother smile. Her mother kissed her forehead once again before she turned off the light walking out of the bedroom.
Alice Baker lay wide awake, looking at the ceiling of her room. She couldn't seem to fall asleep, even though she was drowsy a while ago.

Chapter 1 Father's Wedding
Debra's POV:
I stood in a corner, looking at the grand wedding in front of me, the crowd coming and going. However, instead of feeling festive, my heart was full of unwillingness and grievance.
Today was my father's second wedding, and the Silver Ridge Pack was holding a grand wedding ceremony for him since he was the Alpha.
Although this wasn't his first marriage, my father still attached great importance to it. He made sure that the wedding venue was decorated lavishly, and I overheard some people saying that it was even more beautiful than that of his wedding with my mother. My father had also invited many Alphas here, which showed how much he loved and respected his new bride.
But what he failed to realize was that today was also the death anniversary of my mother.
The wedding progressed smoothly, and everyone looked so happy. My mother's grave, on the other hand, was desolate and lonesome, without anyone there to visit her.
I didn't want to be at this stupid wedding. I just wanted to accompany my mother now.
"Debra, where are you going?"
A sharp female voice sounded from not far away, interrupting my conversation with Vicky Todd, my maid.
I turned to look in the direction of the voice and saw my stepmother, Marley Clarkson, and her servant walking to us.
Marley was much younger than my father. In fact, she was only four years older than me. She was the daughter of the Alpha of the Frosty River Pack and exceedingly beautiful. Marley's white wedding dress billowed in the breeze. Her wavy blonde hair framed her face perfectly. She looked as pretty as a porcelain doll.

Chapter 1 The Incident
I was a pretty average police detective until he claimed me as his own. Sometimes I'm not sure whether I should hate or love him for that. It doesn't matter now. It's done and I have to live with it.
My story starts on the night of my big change. I worked in a large city of a couple million. We had our usual skyscrapers in the financial district, the industrial with its black smoke, and the wrong side of the tracks with its gang violence. The whole place was ringed by suburbia for those who could afford the commute, and apartments in the older neighborhoods for those who couldn't. I couldn't, so my place was uptown in an old apartment building built before my grandparents were born.
At that moment I wished I was back in that dreary place. Instead I sat in my parked police car. At my side was a grande coffee, cold and lacking in taste, but not the precious caffeine I needed to keep myself awake.
"Maria, you read me?" a male voice called over my car's intercom.
I rolled my eyes and picked up the receiver. "That's Detective Marie Selena, Randy," I reminded him.
"And that's Officer Randy to you, but why are we being formal at this hour? Nobody's listening," he pointed out.
He was probably right. The hour was near midnight, and the night was a Tuesday. Nothing ever happened on Tuesdays, even in a big city like this one. The criminals almost had an unwritten rule that Tuesdays were the days to lay their feet back and enjoy their ill-gotten loot and plan their next law breaking scheme.
