The More the Merrier Chapter 14 She Tried To Pinch Me
Arissa was pleased to see her children defending her when mistreated and showering her with care at a time like this.
“Okay! It's okay. I'll just look for another job!” She wore a smile to set their minds at ease.
Zachary grabbed her hand. “Mommy, don't worry. We'll take care of you!”
Arissa was utterly moved by Zachary's words. She gave him a warm embrace before patting his head. “There's no need for you to do that. I'll take care of you!”
It's the thought that counts. Of course, I won't let them bear the burden of living. It's still too early for them to take on such a heavy responsibility at this young age.
“Mommy, I can make lots of money after selling another program!” Oliver assured confidently.
“Mommy! Don't forget about me! I can earn a lot of money by modeling too!” Jesse hugged Arissa tightly. She also wished to help out.
The More the Merrier Chapter 15 Benjamin Was Infuriated
Jasper was trembling in fear, and his response drew Edwin's sympathy. The latter said in a low voice, “Ms. Adams, you've frightened Gavin!”
“Edwin, look at him! It has only been a few days, but he's already acting out of line now. He even learned how to tell lies! I must teach him a lesson today!” Danna could no longer keep her composure. She reached out her hands, wanting to pull Jasper over.
Jasper grabbed Edwin's thigh tightly and glared at her. “Do you dare say that you didn't try to hurt me?”
A look of guiltiness flashed across Danna's eyes, but she soon managed to keep her cool before chiding with a straight face, “You're lying! Your daddy will be so disappointed to find out that you're telling lies!”
Jasper was about to explode with rage. He rolled his sleeve up before stretching out his hand. “Mr. Whitley, she really had the intention!”
When Jasper had tried to free himself from Danna's grip before, a mark was left.
The More the Merrier Chapter 16 I Look Nothing Like Her
Benjamin held Jasper close while gently placing a hand on his head in a protective stance. He acted coldly toward Danna. “No one is allowed to harm a child of the Graham family. Don't you dare to come close to Gavin anymore!”
“Benjamin, I am Gavin's mom, and he's my beloved child. Why would I ever hurt him? He was the one that...” Her eyes met Benjamin's cold gaze. She did not dare to place the blame on Jasper and immediately started to beg for mercy, “I did not do it on purpose. All I wanted was to give him a hug... I never thought of hurting him.”
“Are you taking me for a fool, Ms. Adams?” Benjamin scoffed.
Danna opened her mouth in shock. Her eyes grew red-rimmed as she shook her head. “No. Don't you know that I have never taken you for a fool... “
“Get lost!” Benjamin chased her out and glanced at Edwin before carrying Jasper to his study.
“Please take your leave, Ms. Adams!” Edwin remained polite despite being fueled with anger.
The More the Merrier Chapter 17 First Present From Mommy
“Hey, Daddy. What if Mommy wanted to marry you, so she took someone else's child to claim as hers?” Jasper added while Benjamin remained confused.
Benjamin rubbed Jasper's head. He was amazed by the child's imagination. When Benjamin woke up years ago, Danna was already by his side. He was furious at her schemes. She then left him just to return with a child, claiming he was theirs through a DNA test.
There was a blurry memory that never left his mind. It was a memory where there was another woman with a gentler voice, and she wore a unique perfume.
He cut his train of thoughts. If Danna really adopted a child and the child is mine by coincidence, then who exactly is that woman?
It was not as if Benjamin never suspected so. However, it was scientifically proven that Gavin was indeed Danna and his child. Could she have altered the results of the DNA test?
“Daddy, I don't want her as my mommy. I want another mommy!” Jasper held on to Benjamin and nuzzled against him. Gavin had never acted childishly around Benjamin, hence Benjamin's heart melted at this sight.
The More the Merrier Chapter 18 Zachary Hacked The Computer
“Mommy, I want to watch you cook!” Gavin said softly, looking at her in eager anticipation.
Arissa smiled at him in return and said with a gentle voice, “Sure. Sit down aside and don't stick close to me. Watch out for any oil splatters.”
“Okay!” Gavin was over the moon. He pulled a chair over and sat down obediently.
“Why did you suddenly want to watch me cook?” Arissa asked.
“I want to accompany Mommy!” Gavin replied while his eyes were glued onto her.
Arissa was moved by his reply and smiled brightly.
Gavin did not get to watch for long before Oliver called him, “Jasper, are you trying to slack off? You said that you would sweep the floor! Come out here and start sweeping!”

Chapter 1 1
Headlights flashed, spinning wildly and careening towards a tree... the drunk in the other car morphed into a clown, and cackled at him... an explosion of flame and the smell of gasoline...
Mike shot bolt upright in bed, screaming and slapping at his chest and legs in a panic, trying to extinguish the flames that weren't there. Wondering why he was beating the shit out of himself, he stopped slapping at the imaginary flames and began to rub his eyes.
"Another damn nightmare," said the voice in his head. He was having the bad dreams still, less than when his parents had just been killed, but he still wondered when they would end. "Maybe never," he said aloud, looking at himself in the mirror that sat on his desk across the room.
"Maybe you should jerk off." The voice wasn't usually very helpful.
Mike smacked himself on the cheek, partly to punish the voice, but also partly to wake up. He glanced at the clock, only 5:30. Grumbling, he started to rise and reached over to flip on the lamp. The door to his room creaked open.
Emma, his twin, poked her head in and looked at her brother sympathetically. She cast a sad, knowing glance at him.
"How does she always know?" the voice asked.
"You okay Mike?" she asked, tiptoeing quietly into his room and sitting down next to him. "Another nightmare?"
Mike lowered his head, not wanting to concern her. She was like him in so many ways, but was also vastly different. Sometimes it was hard to believe they were even related, others, easy to see that they were twins. The voice in his head started singing that stupid Donnie and Marie song.

Chapter 1 Third Anniversary
It was an especially warm night in Ye City.
Malcolm Quan drove through the neighborhood, passing through all the other familiar trees and houses. Finally, he arrived at his apartment. Getting off the car, Malcolm went up to the door and pressed his finger on the scanner. The door then opened with a slight beep and click. Much to his disappointment, he saw the bright hall was empty. "Poppi?" he called out.
There was no answer. 'Where did you go?'
After closing the door behind him, he put the documents in his hand on the sofa and went upstairs to the bedroom.
"Poppi?" he shouted once more. "Where are you?" When Malcolm Quan had reached the bedroom, he saw that there were clothes of a woman strewn across the bed, and heard the sound of running water in the bathroom.
Splish, splash! Splish, splash!
Just then, he faintly heard the voice of a woman coming through the crack of the bathroom door. Shortly afterwards, the person inside had turned the water off. Malcolm Quan looked in the direction of the bathroom reflexively. The door was only opened by a couple of inches. Nevertheless, he could easily see the perfect, curvy figure inside.

Chapter 1 How Dare You
Outside, lightning flashed and thunder rumbled. It had been raining the whole day.
Standing in front of the wardrobe, Adeline threw all her clothes into her suitcase, one after another.
The clock on the wall was ticking. It was past midnight already, but Brendan still hadn't come home.
Three years ago, Adeline married Brendan. However, Brendan had always been busy with work and went home very late every day. Adeline was always worried about him, so she'd stay up late, waiting for him to come home safely and then attending to his every need. In fact, she wouldn't go to bed until Brendan was asleep.
But today, things were different.
Just as Adeline zipped her suitcase shut, she heard heavy footsteps from behind her.
She slowly turned around and met Brendan's cold eyes, which were always calm and emotionless when he looked at her. She had a million things she wanted to say to him, but as she looked into his indifferent eyes, she found she could only say two words. "You're back."
Glancing at the packed luggage, Brendan snorted coldly. "Going on a trip? Where are you heading?"
Adeline didn't have the energy to explain. She just looked at him and said, "I've prepared some food for you. You can eat something first. After that, let's talk."

Chapter 1 He Didn't Believe Her
The Casper family was a well-known family in Courtbush. Today was Elmore Casper's eightieth birthday party. Many distinguished guests were present and the atmosphere was lively.
However, a sudden ear-piercing scream from the garden startled everyone present.
Someone recognized that it was the voice of Babette Casper, the wife of Elmore's eldest grandson. She was pregnant, and her husband had already passed away. The Caspers rushed to the garden immediately to see what was going on.
In the swimming pool, two struggling figures came into view.
Before anyone else could react, Rory Casper dove into the swimming pool to pull the struggling Babette ashore.
Just then, the security guards rushed into the water to save the second drowning figure, Becky Casper.
When Becky returned to the house in sopping wet clothes, the servants passing by didn't bat an eyelash at her.
Nobody cared that she had nearly drowned, nor did they care about her in general.
After living with this family for over three years, Becky realized that her position was possibly inferior to that of the dog raised by Rory's sister.

Chapter 1 She Is Pregnant
"Sorry, the number you have dialed is unavailable right now. Please try your call later."
I, Gianna Crawford, sat on a chair in the consultation room of the hospital. The doctor sat opposite me, patiently waiting for me.
Since my first attempt couldn't get through, I hung up and tried calling my husband, Elliott Crawford, again.
After a few rings, the phone was finally answered. I was about to say something when a familiar female voice came through from the other end of the line. "Hello? Who's this?"
I immediately hung up and heaved a deep sigh. I couldn't be mistaken. That was Olivia Tucker's voice. Was she back?
"How is it?" asked the doctor.
His voice brought me back to my senses. I forced a smile and answered with some difficulty, "No one's answering."
The doctor felt helpless. He had no choice but to give up and leave the ward.
I put down my phone, letting my sadness drown me. I wished my call was not answered. I never wanted to hear that woman's voice on Elliott's phone.

Chapter 1 The Dance of Resilience and Jealousy
She was only wearing a thin hospital gown, and although the sun was warm, it was still a bit cold.
She found a secluded spot to stand, looking at the tree in front of her, which already had buds.
She crossed her arms, seeming weak, but emanating a stubborn indifference
She had a very beautiful face, her exquisite features rarely showing much emotion, but this didn’t affect her charm, her delicate skin lonely, and also uniquely attractive.
She took a deep breath. Her mood just slightly became better when someone stood in front of her.
Keira held a steaming thermos cup, her long, curly hair draped over her shoulders. She had bright eyes and white teeth. There was a man’s uniform jacket draped over her body
Looking at Chloe’s indifferent and beautiful face, her proud temperament made Keira very jealous.

Chapter 1 Divorce
"Divorce."
A mere pair of delicate paper sheets marked the conclusion of a four-year marriage.
Hannah Moore's slender fingers touched the inked name of her husband on the document. Raising her eyes to meet Declan Edwards's, a tearful glint was unmistakable.
"Is there no chance for us?"
Her voice wavered slightly, strained from emotion and the exertion of household chores. Beads of sweat clung to her forehead, sticking to her thick black eyeglass frames, making her appear awkward and plain.
Anticipating his return tonight, excited to discuss their future, she had gotten up early, handpicked fresh produce, cooked, and tidied the house. Her efforts felt futile upon hearing the gut-wrenching news.
"Our marriage was essentially a business arrangement," Declan snapped, flicking ash from his cigarette. "Plus, Eliana will return soon."
So that was it.
Eliana Patel, the woman who occupied his heart, was the one he could never let go of.

Chapter 1 I Want A Divorce
It was late at night.
Lucinda Ross was tossing and turning in her sleep.
She felt a man on top of her, his weight pressing on her, making it hard for her to breathe properly.
She could hear him panting and feel his hot breath against her cheek.
And then, without warning, she felt a sharp pain in between her legs.
When she finally realized what was going on, her eyes flew open in horror. She squinted in the dark at the man above her.
"Nathaniel... Is that you, Nathaniel?"
He only grunted in response, and the pungent smell of alcohol assaulted her senses. He made no further sound, just kept pounding her like his life depended on it.
Lucinda allowed herself a sigh of relief after recognizing his voice. At this point, she could do nothing but to give in to his amorous onslaught, though she would let out a groan of pain here and there.

"Weldon is returning home?"
Everleigh Lewis was pregnant for over eight months. She was in the children's room, neatly folding the new clothes she had recently purchased, when she heard the servants talking about Weldon Harris.
Her eyes widened in surprise.
She wondered if he was returning home because of her pregnancy.
Her insides bubbled with happiness, and her hands trembled. She was ecstatic.
Weldon was the father of her babies.
However, she had only met him once since they got married. He left that night and never returned. Everleigh never saw him again.
"Babies, I know your daddy doesn't like me, but it doesn't matter. All that matters is for him to see you step into this world. I'll be the happiest woman in the world."
Tears trickled down her cheeks as she touched her bulging stomach. Her beautiful face beamed with joy.

Chapter 1 I'm The Delivery Girl
"Carla Ji! Where the hell are you? Have you been slacking off? You're running behind with all of the deliveries. The customers have been calling and are complaining that they haven't received their orders yet!"
Karen was the owner of the diner where Carla Ji was working as a delivery girl. The many complaints that she received over the phone from angry customers overwhelmed her and she vented it out on Carla.
"I'm sorry, Karen, for the delay with the deliveries.
I had a problem with my scooter and couldn't find a repair shop to fix it. But I tried fixing it myself and it seems to be working now. I promise I'll deliver all the orders.
I'll be there in 10 minutes. I have to go now, Karen. I'll talk to you later." Carla Ji had just delivered an order to a customer and quickly hopped back on the scooter to go to the next. She was in such a hurry to make up for lost time that she forgot to put her helmet on. She turned the throttle to maximum speed, blinked uncomfortably in the cold wind that was blowing in her face, while stewing on the abuse that Karen had unfairly flung at her on the phone.
The scooter that she was riding was a cherry red color and had little details. After speaking with Karen on the phone, Carla felt a little nervous about facing her.
