Lightless Sunshine

“At an early age, Sunshine experienced a horrible and traumatic event. Her mother was killed right in front of her. But life has to go on, and Sunshine continued to live with a guilt in her chest. Sunshine's biological father doesn't want her, and she was physically abused by her step-dad while also struggling with her trauma. She only has a brother and friends to keep her happy. And she also has him. Icarus was her bestfriend's older brother. He was always there for her. He was always there to make her smile, laugh, and happy. He was always there whenever she's sad and crying. He was her Knight in Shining armour, the one who protects her everytime and wipe her tears away. But an expected turn of events happened... Sunshine was once a beautiful, dazzling star that makes everybody's day lit up. She was a literal sunshine, because she gives light in a person's life. However... Betrayal, rejection, loss, hatred, and pain leads the light in her to become a gloomy. Her colourful life became achromatic. And her once bright existence turned into dull. She, the sunshine without light... A beautiful yet a Lightless Sunshine.”
