Kathy is a young adult who lives with her single mother and lives a bland life. She's uninterested in having fun after her boyfriend cheats on her in her front. She's heartbroken and in her attempt to heal, she gets on the wrong foot with a young man, Stone. She's hostile and pours him coffee after he blamed her for his spilled coffee. Stone sees she's not a regular barista and gets interested in her. They hang out and realize they could be friends. She quits her job and gets another job to be able to raise money for her college fees. She's mad that her mother is taking a third job so she looks for another job where unknowingly to her, Stone is the Boss. She has fallen for this stranger but she finds herself more attracted to him as his employee. She thinks her best friend Mia is crazy for fucking her Boss but she now fantasizes about having Stone in her bed. They get along and her life takes another turn when she secretly follows Stone out of the office. She is shocked to find out the stranger she has fallen for is a vicious crime lord and a murderer. She feels betrayed to know she has been used as a failed bait to get her ex-boyfriend who she had no idea was a rival crime lord too. After witnessing Stone and members of the syndicate kill in cold blood, she's traumatized. She wants to run away but she has gotten herself involved with matters of the syndicate and she can no longer return to her normal life. She is given 100 days to decide how she dies but she begs to prove herself worthy of joining the syndicate. Stone tries to save her from Skull's wrath but she must prove herself worthy if she has to stay alive. She is sent on numerous missions which include pretending to be in love with her ex, Mason, and killing him. Stone is mad that another man will touch Kathy but he stops himself. Kathy starts with her plan but the plan fails when Mason finds out she's a spy and she works for Skull. He tries to kill her but she escapes and runs into more problems which leads her to find out she is related to a member of the syndicate. She believes Stone has ruined her after falling for him but guess who really ruined her?
