PLEASE BESIDE ME
Romance Anindya is the second daughter of three siblings, all of them are girls. Her elder sister is married and has a child. Anindya herself has been in a long-distance relationship (LDR) with Arjuna for several years and remains faithful to him. Problems arise when her younger sister is about to be proposed to by her boyfriend, while Anindya knows that Arjuna's situation makes it highly unlikely for him to propose.
The family, especially the elder sister, wants her to have a serious relationship with a man named Setia, who is her sister's friend-in-law. However, Anindya only regards Setia as someone she must respect, nothing more. A turning point comes when a situation exposes her to a reality she hadn't anticipated. Arjuna, her LDR partner who had been difficult to reach for a while, unexpectedly appears at a wedding party for one of her boss's friends. Anindya arrives at the same event unintentionally accompanied by Setia.
In this situation, Anindya feels betrayed by Arjuna and ends up accepting Setia's offer of a serious relationship. At that moment, there is no clarification between Anindya and Arjuna about their unexpected encounter; it even seems like they are each bringing their own partners.

Distrust grows within Anindya. Even when a man named Riyadh, a childhood friend of Novi (Anindya's best friend), offers a relationship, Anindya repeatedly declines. Novi has been by Anindya's side through all her ups and downs.
Anindya gradually resolves the complicated relationships in her life, including traveling to Bandung to meet Arjuna and formally end their relationship without words. She even manages to attend Arjuna and Amara's wedding with her head held high.
Anindya prepares herself to forgive Setia, realizing that holding onto grudges isn't healthy. Her determination is clear: if there's a man who genuinely loves her, she doesn't want to be tied to the shadows of her past. She shows great strength when her younger sister gets married before her.
