THE KINGS FIRST MISTRESS
Fantasy Rose was captured by the Ergorthonian soldiers after she was defeated in a war between her village and Ergorthonia. Her father, the chief was killed along with her men.
She was detained under the hands of the handsome young king of Ergorthonia, Xander. He refused to kill her and takes her to his country as his slave. When they got to the palace,the king's mother,queen Morgana calls Rose a barbarian and requests for her execution.
Xander was stupefied to find himself, willing to protect this strange woman from his mother's appeal. He made her his personal slave and kept her in his quarters to keep her safe against those who want her life.
Rose spent her days in the king' chamber exploring, only to find out that the king was once married to the late crown princess Hazel, who died few years ago by sucide.
Rose's research, made her inquisitive, but unknown to her, her curiosity to find out about the the king's past awoken strange forces to hunt the palace.
Something was taking the servants one by one. Everyone in the palace believed that there was a killer among them who was responsible for the missing servants.
Rose was accused to be the killer, but despite the accusations, she was willing to find out the truth about the death of the late crown princess.
Also, she wants to find out if her new feelings for the king was as a result of his concern for her. Was the extended chemistry between them, producing a new development which they may not handle in the future?
