The Obsession To Ex-Convict
Romance A Tragedy, Tragedy that changed the cycle of my life.
He accused me that I was the reason why his girlfriend and her child died. I shook my head.
"That's not true. No!"
"It's not my fault!" I defend myself and my vision blurs because of the first tears to flow. My hands can't move freely because of the handcuffs that were put on.
I looked boldly into his eyes. Beautiful eyes, while he is standing to my front and he is ready to ask me.
"I'm talking to you Attorney," I asked him. It hurts when it's not a priority.
The Judge banged his gavel 3 times and said!
"Order in the Court, Order in the Court!" So I kept quiet.
"Let me proceed your Honor," he said and took an Envelope from the table and gave it to the judge.
"Your Honor, This is the Evidence, " I saw him give the Envelope as well as my cousin's cell phone so I swallowed three times.
"That's Evidence says everything that the accused planned the crime!" he said firmly and looked at me so I shook my head again.
If only I could return it. I wish I wouldn't have asked my cousin to bathe in the sea if I had known that this would happen to everyone and also that I didn't know she was pregnant.
Who else will defend me with all the evidence that says I'm the one who made a way to jail me. Even the gov't. Atty. He who is handling my case cannot defend me either.
I bowed when the verdict was read.
"This honorable court fines Accused Anya Belle Mendez, Guilty..." I just bowed to what I heard and my tears continued to fall. What do I have against an atty? Noah Lev Sebastian.
"That's Ordered!" Judge banged his gavel again, so I went down.
I was just bending down while looking at my two hands and also I am wearing Yellow t-shirt too. I stopped being honest with him.
"I know you knew the truth. It's not my fault what happened," I looked into his eyes. He's amber anger eyes on me so I swallowed and bowed.
"Atty. Have mercy on me, I'm not guilty," I try to hold his hand and kneel down. I begged him again. His softened hand, the hands that caress my face, arms that always hug me, his lips that I always kiss, the man I used to belong to but not now.
"Please, I will do everything, just don't do this, you will feel sorry for my family," I told him. He slowly removed his hand and walked away a little.
"Bring two lives and I'll set you free," he said. So I looked up and shook my head.
"Then you will rot in prison." He said to me again, I was about to answer when I was violently stood up and the police pulled my five. I almost lost my balance, but he held me too.
"Be careful!" I heard him call the police.
"Mang! Pang! Jess!" I said in fear and hugged them.
"I'll always be here for you, no matter what happens." Jessie said and kissed me on the forehead.
"I love you," I heard him say to me and I was about to answer but Noah bumped into his back, and passed him but also looked at him again.
"Whatever you do as long as you fight me. I guarantee that girl will rot in jail!" He threatened Jessie and left.
"What is he doing to you and why are you so angry with him? You know it's not his fault that your girlfriend and your son died!" Jess said angrily to him. He still has no idea. He left until he disappeared from our sight.
Murder Case is Lifetime Jail Sentence, I'm just going to be paroled.
My life right now is miserable. I'm guilty for murder that I didn't commit.
Can I still go out? Will I ever return to the world I live in? Will I still be able to see the man I love even though he is the reason why I was imprisoned? Can I still defend myself against him from his accusation against me? Will everything be okay and will I be loved again if we meet again or will he just make me feel my guilt in the past.
Im Anya Belle Mendez
His Atty. Noah Lev Sebastian I'm Just Your Wife On Paper
Romance "Lazel Hyrroz," I said her name firmly and coldly. I followed him until we entered his room.
He unbuttoned his uniform after collapsing, dropping his backpack on the bed.
"I'm tired. Don't bother me now," he told me coldly without looking at me.
"That's why I'm asking you why you're here now and where did you go to come home at this hour?" I asked strictly.
He completely took off his white polo shirt and left only the shirt he was wearing.
"You know? You have so many roles in my life," he mockingly promised and faced me. His face was still emotionless and he didn't change the way he looked at me, as if he could see my soul as well. "You are no longer just a mother, sister and brother. Now, your role is that of a strict father who waited for his own son who didn't come home last night but only now thought of going home," he added at length and even grinned.
"You've grown up, Lazel Hyrroz. Even if you are no longer in the power of your parents, remember that there is one more person who will worry about you," I stated the fact.
"You? Are you the person who will worry about me? I'm just your wife on paper and I didn't ask you to worry about me. I told you from the very beginning not to interfere with me and I will do the same to you," he promised firmly. That's how he really is. His heart is so hard and he really doesn't care about me or even my feelings.
“Lazel Hyrroz...”
"If you have nothing more to say, go out, Grandma?" he said with an insult in his voice. This time he called me Grandma.
I just sighed because of his bad behavior and his bad treatment of me.
I turned back when he finally took off his white shirt.
"You've already seen my body, so why are you still avoiding me? You liked what we did last night, didn't you? You took advantage of me while I was out of my mind and drunk," he insulted me and it was as if those words just slapped me. My chest rose and fell violently because of my shortness of breath.
"Before you go to sleep, take a shower or wash your body and if you haven't eaten, just heat up the food I cooked earlier," I said and I heard her loud chuckle again and the bed moving, a sign that he sat there.
"Yes, Manang." I closed my eyes tightly because of him calling me.
I went to the door of his room and closed it softly. I stopped for a moment in front of the door and leaned. The corners of my eyes are burning and I feel like crying. Heavy in the chest. Is that why he just came home now? Because in over a year something happened to us only once? We were both drunk and I don't even remember what we did.
I'm really asking myself. How long will we be like this, Lazel Hyrroz?
When I wake up every morning, my uniform is neatly ironed on the sofa bed. Even my black shoes are ready.
In the kitchen, there is food already prepared and there is a sticky note on the fridge. I took it and read what was written. His penmanship is neat and beautiful. Even so, I still don't like it.
"Don't forget to eat your breakfast before you go to school, Lazel Hyrroz."
Calysta
After I read that I crumpled the paper and threw it in the trashbin. I opened the fridge and got cold water. I opened the lid and took out the contents.
I even looked at the breakfast that was ready on the table but like I often do, I didn't touch it and I didn't even eat.
I entered the university with an empty stomach. It's okay, Hanemira often makes fun of me. So I only eat my breakfast at school.
"You didn't have breakfast again, did you?" I just smiled at his question and smiled slowly. At the same time he held my hand and gave me the spoon. "I still cooked that." His cooking was not that good but I still appreciated it. Because...she's the only girl I want.
When I got home, I expected to find him sitting in the living room. He was drinking coffee and busy with his laptop again.
"You didn't eat your breakfast again. You didn't even touch them," he told me. The corners of my lips rose. As long as he always said that to me, I memorized those words.
"Who told you to cook my breakfast?" I asked him and I heard him sigh again.
In fact, I have no feelings for him. I don't like her and I will never love a woman who is ten years apart from each other.
We only got married because he was richer than my family and our company only needed him. That is the only reason why I put up with this crowded home.
I ignored him and went up the stairs but before that I stopped to ask him about this matter. "For you, what is love?"
He suddenly turned to me and was obviously confused as to why I asked him that.
"Why are you asking me that?" she asked me back.
"I just want to know your opinion. What is love for you?" I asked, curious to know his opinion. What is his view on love?
"Love destroys a person's life." I raised an eyebrow at what he said. In what way is it damaging? "When it comes to your life, you will feel the gradual destruction of your life."
"What a mess you said. I don't understand anything," I said.

Romance That's right, please... have mercy on us. Please have mercy on us!" I'm begging dad who is full of emotions. My voice was hoarse from exhaustion and constant crying while pleading for papa to stop hurting us.
I'm broken and closed but I'm still trying to protect my sister who is only seven years old and my mom who has a weakness from the pillar of our home that is making us suffer right now.
The same thing always happens at home every time dad comes home. He is always angry and pours it on everyone. Dad wasn't like that before but when he learned to gamble and get into vices that's when our complicated life started.
I can't even count how many times he almost killed us because of his beatings. Times where we almost looked like dead because of the bruises and pale bodies that dad had done.
I want to defend them. I want to protect them but I'm just a humble man with a small body because of our state in life, that's what they call our condition 'poor' and what about me? Maybe I can say that I'm a man who gets patted down and gets weak easily because of not being able to eat properly.
Even if I wanted to run away, I couldn't. Even if we want to fight, we can't. Even if I want to rebuke dad, be brave and be a man even for one time, I can't do it, I can't. I'm disgusted with myself for thinking that even once I could be a man, a complete man who can defend my loved ones, but no, I'm just a very useless man. I could not save them from the hands of my father who was swallowed by annoyance and anger.
I want to keep mom and Abi away from dad's hands so that we can be safe and live happily and peacefully but I can't do it either, I can't because mom still believes that dad will change too which I just believed because he was taking a risk I know that when we make dad feel how much we love him, he will return to the way he was before, our dad who is so sweet and caring.
My dad always smiles when he comes home because he is greeted with a bag of noodles that my brother and I will run to get at the same time as greeting him, kissing him, shaking his hand and giving him a hug.
I miss seeing papa being sweet to mama, the type where they are like stars in a telenovela where there is no conflict, just full of love.
His Obsession, My Brother
Romance "Brother, let me go" I shouted here. He didn't want to let go of me until now, I'll leave it to him why he doesn't let me go from his arms like I'm a cat tied to his body
"No stay for a while!" he said as he buried his face in my neck. I tried to keep him away from my neck because he was so muscular and I couldn't push him because of his strength.
"Brother, what the hell! If you don't let me go, I'll report you!" When I threatened him. I thought I would be afraid, but I was the one who would be afraid of him because it's like facing a very hot fire and it will really melt you.
"Stop assuming that someone will help you Mika. Remember we don't have parents now because they left us alone here in the mansion" I pushed him as far as I could and it was fine because he let go of me. I quickly went down from the room and went to the kitchen. I've been hungry for a while now, that's why.
I immediately stopped what I was doing when I felt a stony body behind me while hugging my waist so tightly I could hardly breathe.
"Brother, let me go.. What is happening to you and why are you doing this? Can you let me go first because my tummy is hungry!" I faced him with annoyance and I heard a small laugh from him. I immediately stopped because I only once heard him laughing even softly.
"You're cute as ever my love"
"What are you? Are you drunk and you can 'love love'? Hey brother, think of us as brothers. Or if you're not drunk, maybe you have a cold, brother, or are you just a friend?"
"Tsk. Annoying just eat or ill kiss ya"
"tsk.. There's a kiss kiss you know when you don't have siblings. It must have a worm in its brain because it suddenly tsk."
"Are you whispering something?" I immediately became alert and smiled.
"huh? I'm just eating here" I lied and continued eating.
"I heard it. Stop lying just tell me"
"Nothing" I stood up and drank water. I was about to leave to go upstairs but the monk spoke
"Where are you going??"
"Why get dressed? Are you the same?"
"Can I?"
"che! just kidding"

This is my Story The Matchmaking
Romance Isabella met Alexander Montgomery, a billionaire who became interested in her. However, their strong relationship fell apart when a surprising truth came to light. Can they find the strength to let go of their feelings after learning a truth that could destroy their trust in each other?
A tall man in a suit confidently swung open the doors to the spacious office where the Director of a renowned matchmaking agency for the wealthy worked. He was also one of the investors in the event, making it easy for him to request what he desired.
With the two men following him, they opened the door without waiting for an invitation, but that didn't stop him and let his own enter the spacious room.
"Make me a participant." he said, facing the man with his legs on the table.
The man just smirked at the serious look he was showing.
"What a sudden decision? Something caught your attention?" He asked with a smile.
He sat down without saying anything and looked at her seriously. "Someone already caught my attention and I want to know her."
The Director grinned widely and put his foot down on the table. It's been two years but he didn't think he would be so eager to meet someone he didn't know who he was and he wanted to get to know him because he looked serious.
"Oh? Isn't this one of the girls -"
"No, You're aware of how I remained indifferent towards my ex-wife for the past years. This isn't a game anymore. I genuinely want to be compatible with that woman." This is a serious and innocent joke.
He tried to be serious but he couldn't because he didn't think that a man who met a woman would be this desperate. Different huh?
"Okay." He stood up and reached for his laptop. He personally knows who got the man's attention and why the man is so desperate for a woman he just met.
"What's her name?" He asked while looking for the files of the participants in the service.
"I don't know." He raised his eyebrows.
"You don't know? You didn't even ask his name?"
"No, I forgot. Something came." He sighed.
"Fine. Maybe her appearance? Describe it." He asked again.
"She has long black hair, pale skin, small but pointed nose and green eyes." He raised his eyebrows again. He didn't know anyone with a green-eyed participant. Could this be a new participant?
He didn't answer and looked through a file that was just starting to join the service. There weren't too many on the list so he knew he'd see his picture right away.
He scrolled down until he reached a photo of a woman without make up so I can see her green eyes in the photo. He clicked her details but it didn't have much information and it looks like she attended the event you held the other day for the first time.
He turned around his laptop so the man could see what was in the photo. "Is she that woman?" He pointed to the letter on the laptop.
Even though the woman had no make-up and her posture was simple in the photo, he immediately recognized her. A smile appeared on his lips. "That's her. I want to be matched with her."
"But you know the rules, you can't just request something like that."
"Five million." It stopped at what he said. He narrowed his eyes and looked at her suspiciously.
"The match maximum is 500k, you spend five million just to match her?"
"That's right. I want to know her. If you're disapproving with the price, I'll mark it up. Name it." He said nothing.
The person in front of him shook his head at what he was saying. "You're being desperate now. Huh?" He didn't answer and waited for what he would do next. Naturally, he would be taken back.
They weren't discussing pesos; they were dealing in dollars. The maximum they mentioned was 500,000 pesos, whereas the 5 million he proposed was in dollars!
"I'll send you the contract. Since you're late, you'll find the girl yourself. I don't have much information about her because it looks like she's new."
He rose from his chair, his movements calculated and determined. "Alright, no problem. Just send over the contract, and I'll take care of it." He pivoted on his heel, ready to make his exit, but the words of the Director sliced through the air, stopping him in his tracks.
"If you choose to become a part of her life, be prepared to stand your ground until the very end. Because, my friend, you might just find yourself regretting your decision." Those were the last words he heard before he left. You might like
Pampered By The Ruthless Biker Boss
Anywho After six years away, I returned to my hometown with a single suitcase and a picture of my fiancé tangled up with my stepsister.
I thought it was just a simple, disgusting betrayal, but when I planted a bug in their private suite to get a confession, I heard a truth that froze my blood.
My fiancé, Leo, laughed about how my own father had already signed over my mother's legacy—The Nightingale Ranch—as collateral to his powerful family.
"Once this is all done, Claire will have nothing. And the woman you marry will be me," my stepsister Jenna cheered.
Leo cooed back, calling me a stray dog he'd kick to the curb once he was bored, a worthless woman who couldn't even hold onto her family's land.
My family had sold me out, and the man I loved was planning to leave me with absolutely nothing.
I didn't cry. The pain burned away into a cold, hard hate. How could my own father conspire with them to destroy the only thing I had left of my mother?
I crashed their prestigious charity auction and played their filthy recording over the speakers for the entire town to hear.
But when Leo charged at me in a murderous rage, a wall of leather and muscle stepped in front of me.
Kade "Chaos" Peterson, the terrifying President of the rival motorcycle club, crushed Leo's wrist and announced to the stunned room, "She's with me now." Jilted Wife Returns As A Billionaire Heiress

"City Hall tomorrow at 10 AM. If you don't show up, my lawyer will handle everything. And trust me, you won't like their terms." The Runaway Wife: Hiding His Secret Triplets
Hen Bu Five years ago, I stood in the freezing rain at my mother's funeral, waiting for my husband.
Blake Knight, the billionaire NHL superstar, was two hours late. When he finally showed up, he brought his rumored girlfriend, the woman he had just rented a hotel rooftop for to celebrate her birthday.
Watching him defend her fake tears, my heart completely died. I took off my diamond wedding ring, placed it on my mother's headstone, and walked away from my marriage forever.
I fled to London, changed my name to Ava, and secretly raised the triplets he never knew existed. I thought I was finally safe from him.
But today, my kids vandalized a silver Aston Martin in our apartment's parking garage, and the owner caught my youngest daughter.
My phone rang. The voice on the other end was Blake's.
He had moved into my building, and he was holding my little girl in his penthouse, demanding her mother come get her immediately.
Panic suffocated me. If I walked through that door, my five years of hiding would be instantly destroyed. He would recognize me, realize I didn't get rid of our child like everyone thought, and he would use all his power to take my babies away.
I couldn't let him ruin my life again.
"I'm just her nanny," I lied through my teeth.
I frantically begged my best friend to go upstairs and rescue my daughter in my place. He bought the disguise, but now, the King of the Ice is dangerously obsessed with investigating my new identity. The Billionaire I Slept With Became My Husband
Apache I went to my stepsister's birthday party, foolishly hoping for a family truce.
Instead, she drugged my drink and had me shoved into a dark hotel suite, where a stranger took my innocence.
When I sneaked back home the next morning, battered and humiliated, I overheard my stepsister and stepmother laughing in the hallway.
They had orchestrated the whole trap to destroy my reputation so I would be forced to marry a thrice-divorced, abusive butcher.
"And don't forget the little extras we've been putting in her food," my stepmother gloated. "She'll never lose the weight. That fat Miss Piggy is meant to be your backdrop."
The revelation chilled me to the bone.
My years of punishing diets, the brutal exercise, the deep self-hatred—none of it was my fault.
It was poison, fed to me daily by the family I trusted.
I packed a single bag, took the commemorative coin I had stolen from the stranger's nightstand as a reminder of my lowest point, and vanished into the city.
One year later, having lost ninety pounds and transformed into a completely different woman, I agreed to attend the blind date with the butcher they arranged.
But because of a flipped brass table number, I sat down in front of the wrong man.
It was Julian Sinclair, the billionaire stranger from that dark room, and he looked at me and proposed a contract marriage. While I Was Bleeding Out, He Lit Lanterns For Her
Katie Oettgen As I lay on the floor of our manor, bleeding out from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, I used my last ounce of strength to call my husband, Cole.
I begged him for help, my vision blurring.
But the only thing I heard was the clinking of champagne glasses and his mistress's giggle in the background.
"Stop the drama, June," Cole snapped, his voice cold. "We're about to go on stage. Don't call again."
He hung up, leaving me to die alone on the Persian rug while he accepted an award with another woman on his arm.
I woke up in the hospital days later. My baby was gone. They had removed my fallopian tube.
Cole finally arrived, smelling of expensive scotch and his mistress's perfume. He didn't hug me. He didn't cry.
Instead, he leaned over my hospital bed, pressing his knee into the mattress until my fresh stitches tore open and bled.
"You embarrassed me by calling an ambulance," he hissed. "My mistress, Alycia, says you're faking it. Clean yourself up."
He left me bleeding again to go announce a $10 million donation to Alycia's "groundbreaking" medical research.
I stared at the TV screen, numb. The research Alycia was taking credit for? It was mine. I wrote that patent years ago under a pseudonym.
They thought I was just a poor, orphan housewife who needed Cole's money to survive.
They had no idea I was actually a billionaire scientist hiding my identity.
I pulled the IV needle out of my arm. A drop of blood fell onto the divorce papers I had been hiding.
I didn't wipe it off. I signed my name right over it.
Then I walked into the bank, reactivated my dormant account with $128 million, and bought the penthouse directly overlooking Cole's house.

Some cages, once opened, can never be closed again. Flash Marriage To My Best Friend's Father
Madel Cerda I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector.
That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world.
The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor.
The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist.
Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch-a titan of industry and my best friend's father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared.
"Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb.
Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen.
"Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back."
I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.
