Black Barbie I used to move through life with the gnawing belief that something inside me was tainted, wrong in a way I could never explain. Norway's gaze darkened on hearing that. "You don't need to know anything. You have no business here. You just want what she carries and nothing more."
Roderick's expression didn't even deny it; he made no effort to debunk whatever Norway said against him.
He stared at me weirdly-maybe hungry, determined, desperate. "Kyra, you know we were together and there is a possibility that the child is mine. Not a possibility, I'm sure the pup is mine, I can feel it in my body."
"I can also feel in my soul that the child is mine," Norway countered. "And Roderick, don't forget I was with her recently and after that you two have not been together, so there is no way the child is yours."
"I was with her shortly before you, so I'm the father of the child."
