Romance Ivy Smith, a 24-year-old daughter of Evander Smith, a former businessman whose business took a new turn as life did its thing, is left with the decision to save her family. In the desire to care for the financial needs of her family, she gets a good paying job at Shield Limited, having Jay Hilton as her Boss and Interim C.E.O of the company, whom on her first day at work seemed really harsh to her, but she's determined to build a friendly and comfortable relationship with her boss, so as to avoid his rudeness since she'll be reporting directly to him.
On the other hand, Jay finds out about his girlfriend, Rose's infidelity for the third time and he breaks up with her.. He also learnt that his late father had added a wish in his Will, which Jay considers unnecessary but must fulfill by all means. With the hope of fulfilling this wish, he links up with his secretary, Ivy.
And when Ivy is exposed to a bigger opportunity that will change the financial state of her family, she is quick to accept it. Along the line, against their contract, they both fall in love and Rose is bitterly against the two lovebirds.
As the story progresses, Ivy meets Willy, Jay’s uncertain half brother who also wants Mr Green’s properties, a man she had met months back and sighting him reignites a once-upon pain Willy had caused her.
