WARNING!!! EXTREMELY CLICHE AND CHEESY! DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T LIKE CLICHES!! _____ WHEN SHE LEFT, I was lost. My world became clouded with dark clouds of anger and hatred. Why did I do it? Why was the last time I pranked her the last time I saw her? It's been 2 years. 2 years of hell and heart break and my cupcake came back, Ellie came back. ******************** I bumped into a chest. The arms wrapped around my waist, saving me from falling. "Thank you so much" I smile, getting out of the strangers arms. I was curious and looked to see who it was. "Holy shit" The words left before I could stop them. "I know I'm hot but you don't need to swear" He says, his eyes seemed to show a lot of pain. "You don't know who I am, do you?" I smirk. "Should I?" He asked and I nodded, checking my black nails like I was bored. "Yeah, well you should. That doesn't mean I'm going to tell you though" I laugh. "Who are you?" He asked, his eyes widen like he figured it out. "Holy fuck! Ellie Hensworth?" His jaw dropped when I nodded and I smirked. "Yep" I laugh. His reaction is amazing. I saw his eyes light up and his face brighten. "You're back?" He questions, his voice full of awe and excitement. "I said it before and I'll say it again. Why the fuck do you care?" I ask with a smirk, walking away and in the direction of my brand new apartment, "Oh and thanks for catching me" I wink before I completely walk away.

The Bad Boy's Cupcake Chapter 0 NO.0

"Bye" I wave with a smile as I get out of the car. The sun was shining brightly as I shut the door and walk through the park.

Not a thing had changed.

It was a nice day today, it was really hot, hence why I was wearing shorts and a crop top, and I smiled as the breeze blew my thick stands of, now, red hair over my shoulder. I'll admit, the last time I was here I was a push over, I never stuck up for myself.

Now, however, I've lost weight, got contacts instead of glasses (not that there was anything wrong with glasses) and died my hair red. I was finally happy.

Those 2 years weren't amazing. I got bullied at my new school worse than here and it made me fall into a state of depression. I'm completely over that now.

I put my sunglasses on my head, looking around before I bumped into a chest.

The arms wrapped around my waist, saving me from falling.

"Thank you so much" I smile, getting out of the strangers arms. I was curious and looked to see who it was.

"Holy shit" The words left before I could stop them.

No way was my ex bully- Charlie Winters- the first boy (that's kind of cute) I met.

"I know I'm hot but you don't need to swear" He says, his eyes seemed to show a lot of pain.

"You don't know who I am, do you?" I smirk, my hand resting on my hip as I tilted my head to the side. My heels made me a little taller and I was at eye level with him.

This is quite funny.

"Should I?" He asked and I nodded, checking my black nails like I was bored.

"Yeah, well you should. That doesn't mean I'm going to tell you though" I laugh. Is this being mean because I'm having to much fun to care.

My bank account showed exactly $42.18, and my student loan notifications were flashing red. I lived in a sweltering Queens apartment with my Aunt Lydia, where the air was thick with the smell of stale frying oil and the constant threat of being homeless. Lydia handed me a grainy photo of a man twice my age and told me she had already "sold" me to him. He was a dry cleaner looking for a wife, and in exchange for my hand, he would pay off her credit cards and my debt. If I didn't show up for the date that night, my boxes would be on the curb by midnight. I arrived at the cafe in a state of panic, my selective mutism making it impossible to even breathe. In the crowded room, I accidentally sat at the wrong table. Instead of the man from the photo, I found myself facing Gerhard Holcomb—the cold, terrifyingly handsome billionaire whose family owned the very museum where I worked. He didn't send me away; instead, he studied my trembling hands and offered me a different deal: a two-year contract marriage, a two-million-dollar payout, and a strict clause forbidding any children. I signed the papers and moved into his Park Avenue penthouse, thinking I was finally safe. But when I went back to the old apartment to retrieve the only memento of my dead parents, Lydia lashed out, leaving me bleeding from a head wound. Gerhard’s retaliation was absolute—he had her arrested and her building foreclosed on within hours, claiming he was simply "protecting his assets." As I recovered in his silent, glass-walled home, I saw a call from a famous socialite flash on his phone, and a cold truth settled in my gut. I wasn't just a wife; I was a placeholder, a silent shield used to fend off the women from his past. I looked at the massive pink diamond on my finger and realized the silence I had lived in my whole life was about to become my most expensive prison. I had traded a life of poverty for a high-stakes game of shadows, and now I had to survive the man who claimed to own me.

I arrived at the hotel with Julian's favorite takeout, ready to surprise my fiancé before our big merger. But the moment I swiped the keycard, the silence of the hallway felt heavy and wrong. Inside, a red-soled stiletto lay on the marble floor-the same one I'd watched my best friend Lila try on at Saks last week. Through the cracked bedroom door, I watched Julian's back arch as Lila looked me straight in the eye and smiled, wrapping her legs tighter around him to mock my heartbreak. I fled to the penthouse to hide, only to find Grafton, Julian's "crippled" brother, waiting in the dark. To my horror, the man who was supposed to be paralyzed stood up from his wheelchair, gripped my chin with cold fingers, and forced me to sign a contract that gave him control of my family's shares. He knew about my mother's secret medical bills and used them to buy my silence, effectively turning my life into a calculated game of corporate chess. The betrayal tasted like acid, and the injustice of it all burned in my throat. My fiancé was a liar, my best friend was a thief, and the man now controlling my fate was a predator who had been faking his disability for years. I couldn't understand how everyone I trusted had turned out to be a monster. I was trapped between a man who cheated on me and a man who wanted to own me, with no way out and no one to turn to. But when Julian came looking for me, Grafton didn't hide; he stood tall, looming over me with a possessive glint in his eyes. "Help me destroy Julian," I rasped, realizing that to survive the Faulkner men, I had to become the most dangerous player of them all.

The rain in Detroit was slick with grime when my family finally came to fetch me. They didn't want a reunion; they wanted a sacrificial lamb to marry into the Kaufman empire to save their failing business. I thought I was just being sold off, but the limo ride ended under a dark overpass where six hired thugs were waiting with chains. My own sister had ordered them to "break my spirit" so I’d be a shaking, pathetic mess by the time I reached the altar. They called me "Detroit trash" and sprayed air freshener when I sat on their leather seats. My stepmother wanted a video of me begging for my life, and my father was ready to trade me like a used car to a man everyone called a "vegetable." They expected a submissive country girl, unaware that I was a high-level "cleaner" who could snap a radius bone before they could even scream. When I finally reached the Kaufman estate, I found my fiancé, Barron, slumped in a wheelchair, drooling and silent. But as soon as the doors closed, the "invalid" grabbed my wrist with a grip of iron and whispered a command that changed everything. I didn't understand why my own blood was so desperate to see me destroyed. What had I ever done to deserve a hit squad and a forced marriage to a man they thought was a corpse? But Barron isn't a vegetable, and I'm not a victim. We just touched down at the Moon family gala in a matte-black helicopter, and as the doors slide open, the "broken" bride is about to show them exactly what happens when you throw away the wrong daughter. "If we're going to crash a party," Barron whispered, his eyes burning with lethal clarity, "we should make an entrance."
