The orphan girl without royal titles had no plans to fall in love with the Future King of a Nation, nor to discover all the secrets about her family, nor the facts for which she had to live her entire life in an orphanage. They live a fairy tale of love, but what will happen when that fairy tale comes to an end and problems begin to destroy their worlds? Will they get to their so desired "happily ever after"?
6 months later.
Prince Ethan:
There I was, in a church full of people I don't know. This was the most important day of my life. I had my back to the altar, dressed in the most elegant and beautiful suit I have ever worn before. Nervous, I searched her face among the thousands of faces in the crowd.
- Here comes the bride! - Announced the voices of those present.
Some cheering for the bride who was coming in, happy for the union that would be celebrated here today. The bride was marching slowly toward me, a long veil covering her face, a pompous cloud-white dress, and a bouquet of white flowers in her hands. Some people were crying with smiles on their faces, others were clapping, others were cheering. And me, I was there holding my breath.
The bride finished her walk down the aisle and stopped next to me.
- You can lift the veil of the bride, Your Royal Highness. - Said the priest's voice.
Unsure, I reached out my trembling hands and grasped the lapels of the veil, lifting it up and letting it fall behind the bride. I closed my eyes hoping to see the love of my life. And when I opened them, she wasn't there. I realized this wasn't a dream.
My Serena's beautiful face had been replaced by that of another girl. And I, would have to marry this complete stranger.
How will I get out of this mess I've gotten myself into as the son of the King?
