Slap!

A hard slap for the umpteenth time filled Hubert Theala's office. In the room, apart from the presence of this middle-aged man, there was a woman who was none other than his biological daughter. The beautiful woman looks battered and her face swells redness.

When she couldn't take the pain anymore, she pulled over to one of the pharmacies she randomly ran into. She decided to leave with a mess. Right in front of the pharmacy entrance, the woman fell onto the sidewalk, gasping for breath. Her hands were firmly gripping her aching stomach.

"Are you okay?" A man comes to help Elena by hugging her so that she gets up. When the man saw Elena's state, a look of surprise flashed across his eyes.

Due to the several harsh slaps Elena received from Hubert on the cheek, the woman's beautiful face turned swollen with the corners of her mouth covered in clotted dried blood.

"Wait a minute here!" said the man again.

Before the man went into the pharmacy, he took off the jacket he was wearing and slung it over Elena.

Elena who had been silent for a while then raised her head, she attentively stared at the back of the man who had now entered the pharmacy.

The masculine scent from the man's jacket entered Elena's sense of smell. And she likes it. Love the scent that makes it calm and comfortable.

"Are there other places where it hurts?" he asked.

Elena was so charmed by the man in front of her that the woman became dazed and didn't even answer the man's question.

The man furrowed his brows because the woman was silent. "Do you need me to take you to the doctor? Your face looks very pale," asked the man again patiently.

Instead of answering, Elena grabbed the man's arm tightly and said. "What is your name?"

It was the first time for Elena, to meet a man who was able to make her heart beat fast.
