THE VILLAINESS ENDING IS YOUR CHOICE Chapter 1 1: AUTHOR IS THE VILLAINESS

There was a girl whose complete shut-in and otaku- for all sorts of kind in entertainments when it comes into anime, manga/manhwa/ webtoon, games, drama, novels, and so.

Yet, unfortunately the bombing attacked killed her while dining in a high-end restaurant.

That how was my previous life go and goes in a blinked of an eye.

I do not have any idea how long it has been since those memories rushed in my mind without a warning.

I stared at the familiar reflection in a mirror, blinking for many times, a youth looking sixteenth years old with messy long black hair, crimson pair of eyes looking swollen from all night crying, an average beautiful haggard face and this worn out red colored old dress.

It reminded me.

I'm certainly the lady of an impecunious household named Maria Ebillish, another bastard daughter of Lord Hellethe.

I feel like swallowing hard against the knot in my falling stomach when a harsh realization slapped me.

Due to the fact that this reality I live in are just my own fictitious novel created. Such with another title "Priestess Lover's Diary", it is a romantic story set in the fantasy world and look like Victorian Era where nobility and royalties are important role in the society.

The protagonist is a beautiful, kind hearted commoner who has majestic power which made her to study at the Mahika Academia.

After that, she fell in love with the beautiful Crown Prince.

They struggle side by side and become a very powerful couple in Misterilia's kingdom.

On the other hand, those people who opposed them were punished severely, for example a villainess character under the name of mine.

I, Maria, am one of the chosen villains who harassed and trampled the heroine's face.

As believed to love the crown prince tenderly and had done many evil deeds of nature.

She was kicked out of the school, then abandoned by her family.

For her punishment, she is ordered to marry the cold-hearted and a black belly young man-Duke of Slendlock, the only person who has burned her alive to death.

Which is me–notheneless!

No way!

As far I could remember, I am that too much.

I met this heroine a lot and I had no memory of bullying her.

Perhaps I admonished her when it came to the welfare of the crown prince, and yet I was utterly humiliated at the ball.

Those people charged me with the threatening and plotting to kill the female protagonist for the sake of proclaiming unrequited love and a grave crime of stealing the crown prince Heart crest.

Thereafter, I was abandoned by my family after hearing the scandal news.

Our household loses face to the Nobility and His Emperial Majesty Ru Shang of Misterilia condemned me with a noble cause to be exiled but Her Majesty the Empress suggested another idea.

It's a proposal to marry the infamous duke...

Without any title to hold it is the only option I can have to prevent myself living in a different country or died from starvation in the cold streets of the capital city.

At first, I'm honestly planning to use this Duchy governor for my insurance, until today, the sudden thunder from a clear sky changed all of my uncalled thoughts.

Solemnly, I wonder maybe if these memories are more triggered earlier in my younger years, there is the possibility of changing the path of this character.

Then I'm not dropped to this position.

But it's too late for crying about spilled milk.

I used to be modern female and an aristocrat at Earl's house now.

I know this wouldn't be easy at the start, but there is no way I will let myself to die or be bullied by what I just created.

Shameless woman!

You wretch lady!

A villainess!

The witch!

Whore!

Crazy!

Fool!

All these insulting words resounded in my mind.

Noble ladies, noblemen, the heroine, the crown prince, all the royal family, and the mob characters will have to pay a high-end check for retribution from 'Me' the creator of this novel.

Just wait.

One day, they will kneel before me like peasants

As for now, let's go with the flow of the water.

I have been here for a week and because of humiliation and sorrow.

I locked myself in this guest room.

Look, a mini living room is set there, the writing desk with tall shelves of books behind, and also the august bed right there with a lovely canopy attached.

To say things briefly, the entire room is greatly decorated with all kinds of luxurious things from the smallest to the largest.

It's quite too fancy. Too sophisticated.

The Ebillish family is not an affluent family, our nobility is three meters below ground.

All I had was a small room with important things like books, papers and training materials for my magic.

Seeing the large space right now and with my memories of previous life living in the crappy box apartment

I feel like my heartbeats filled with excitement bubbling up inside, so without warning my feet move and jumped me onto the bed.

It is real, it is soft.

I should be grateful with this.

By the time I came to my senses, my eyes looked heavy.

I almost forgot in a week, I hid and cried inside this unfamiliar room.

Ah. Here we go again.

The sensation of the sting and pain was mounting in my chest.

No, I slapped my face with both hands and sounded fierce.

I don't have time to feel bad.

Time of turning the page and let's move on.

After dressing up myself with aesthetic red gown and simply braided my hair with little ornaments.

I've decided to leave the room with a little confidence.

Once the door opened, I was greeted by a quiet hallway.

No one is around as I have continued to wander my feet leaping down the stairs.

The interior of this house was beautifully designed and fulfilled the expectations of my home for a nobleman as in the historical drama I had seen before.

Every imposing curtain is tightly closed, making the house dark and gloomy.

Walking around this place, I started thinking that it was like a serial killer was living here.

Ah, really, modern-day memories are slowly shifting me back.

" Lady Maria, you are at last ready to leave your room."

I sat on the edge of the examination table, the crinkle of the sanitary paper sounding like thunder in the sterile room. The doctor didn't even look at me as he confirmed the news: the pregnancy was over. My husband, Keyon, didn't answer my call. He just sent an automated text: "In a meeting." When I returned to our cold mansion, I found his iPad glowing with a message from his "muse," Katina. He was throwing her a secret gala tonight-on our third wedding anniversary. He told her he couldn't wait to escape the "boring" and "draining" atmosphere I created at home. Keyon didn't stumble in until 3 AM, smelling of Katina's perfume with a smear of red on his collar. When I handed him the divorce papers, he laughed in my face. He called me a "glorified housekeeper" with no skills and no future, promising I'd be back in three days begging for a subway ticket. He even bet his friends ten thousand dollars that I wouldn't survive a week without his name. He had his assistant cancel my credit cards and block my gate access before I even reached the end of the driveway. He wanted me to starve. He wanted me to crawl. He sat in his office, mocking the "desperate" woman who pawned her three-million-dollar wedding ring for scrap metal just to pay for a meal. I stood on the rainy curb, watching the man I had protected for three years treat my life like trash. He didn't know about the ultrasound I just threw in the bin. He didn't know that while he was calling me "dull," I was the one secretly writing the code that kept his billion-dollar empire from collapsing. As I slid into a cheap Uber, I opened a hidden, encrypted app on my phone. The screen refreshed to a dashboard for an account Keyon didn't know existed. The balance was ten figures long-the accumulated wealth of "Solaris," the world's most elusive tech genius. Keyon thinks he just evicted a parasite, but he's about to find out he just declared war on the only person who can hit "delete" on his entire life.

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.

For two years, I was the invisible force behind tech billionaire Kieran Douglas, convinced that our "private" romance was his way of protecting us from the tabloid spotlight. I managed his mergers, warmed his bed, and waited for a future that didn't exist. The illusion shattered at 6:00 AM when a Page Six alert debuted Kieran’s "real" romance with socialite Aspen Schneider. Before I could even process the betrayal, Kieran sent me a cold, professional text: "Order flowers for Aspen. Pink peonies. Her favorite." When I tried to walk away, my own mother called me a disgrace and threatened to lock my inheritance forever unless I married a sixty-year-old businessman to save her failing estate. At a high-society gala that same night, Aspen intentionally crushed my burned hand in front of the cameras, while Kieran stood by and dismissed me as a "mediocre assistant" who had overstayed her welcome. I stood in the cold New York rain, drenched in champagne and humiliation, realizing that every sacrifice I made for Kieran was a joke. I was a ghost in a penthouse that was never mine, discarded the moment his "soulmate" returned. To the world, I was just a placeholder whose time had run out. But Kieran forgot one thing: my father’s multi-million dollar trust fund unlocks the moment I legally marry. I didn't need love; I needed a signature and a shield. I walked into a discreet law firm and signed a marriage contract with a man I believed was the city’s most notorious, scandal-ridden playboy. I thought I was marrying a degenerate "beard" to buy my freedom and secure my revenge. I didn't realize the man who signed that paper wasn't a playboy at all, but Gaston Collins—the most powerful and dangerous man on Wall Street—and he had no intention of letting our fake marriage stay fake.

I had just survived a private jet crash, my body a map of violet bruises and my lungs still burning from the smoke. I woke up in a sterile hospital room, gasping for my husband's name, only to realize I was completely alone. While I was bleeding in a ditch, my husband, Adam, was on the news smiling at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. When I tracked him down at the hospital's VIP wing, I didn't find a grieving husband. I found him tenderly cradling his ex-girlfriend, Casie, in his arms, his face lit with a protective warmth he had never shown me as he carried her into the maternity ward. The betrayal went deeper than I could have imagined. Adam admitted the affair started on our third anniversary-the night he claimed he was stuck in London for a merger. Back at the manor, his mother had already filled our planned nursery with pink boutique bags for Casie's "little princess." When I demanded a divorce, Adam didn't flinch. He sneered that I was "gutter trash" from a foster home and that I'd be begging on the streets within a week. To trap me, he froze my bank accounts, cancelled my flight, and even called the police to report me for "theft" of company property. I realized then that I wasn't his partner; I was a charity case he had plucked from obscurity to manage his life. To the Hortons, I was just a servant who happened to sleep in the master bedroom, a "resilient" woman meant to endure his abuse in silence while the whole world laughed at the joke that was my marriage. Adam thought stripping me of his money would make me crawl back to him. He was wrong. I walked into his executive suite during his biggest deal of the year and poured a mug of sludge over his original ten-million-dollar contracts. Then, right in front of his board and his mistress, I stripped off every designer thread he had ever paid for until I was standing in nothing but my own silk camisole. "You can keep the clothes, Adam. They're as hollow as you are." I grabbed my passport, turned my back on his billions, and walked out of that glass tower barefoot, bleeding, and finally free.

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ "I want to get a divorce, Mark," I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time-even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.
