I am Siya Khurana

Business manager

I am sitting with Bella, my best friend after Deeps. I mean Deepshikha. It's been three years now but I still remember her and I still miss the way we used to enjoy and everything was great when I was in India but then I moved on here in Los Angeles to live with my parents and yes I got the job offer too.

Coming back right now I am sitting with Bella watching Jumanji the next level while eating some snacks. I just love adventure movies.

Suddenly my phone started ringing and saw the caller ID and answered

' Hi Mom'

' Hey Siya , where are you right now?" she answered no she asked worried

' I am with Bella. What happened you sound worried ' I asked

'Siya we expect you as soon as possible to our hospital Dadu had a stroke. ' After hearing this my phone slipped from my hand but I managed to get it.

I could not believe what I just heard. Yes it's the second time he got a stroke but still I can not bear to lose him. He is my everything.

I came out and sat in my car and drove towards my parent's hospital and yeah I know it's not my parent's but my father is a Cardiologist and mother is a Psychiatrist there.

As soon as I reached the hospital I quickly rushed towards the Operation Theatre on the fourth floor as I knew my grandfather would be in my father's custody.

I reached there and saw my mother who was expressionless. I got there and sat beside her and asked

'Mom what happened ? '

'Grandfather came here for check up and suddenly had a stroke, thank God he was here so the case is not that complicated for us' Mom answered calmly and I sighed.

I couldn't believe how she manages to stay calm. Really it's not my cup of tea to stay calm and behave like nothing happened.

Suddenly red light turn off and dad came out as soon as I saw I just rushed towards him to ask about the condition but before I ask

' Mr. Mehra is fine now but not totally okay. He have some blockages which cannot be cleared.' he answered

I sighed and went to meet Grandfather who was still unconscious.

A smile appeared on my lips when I saw him tension free. He looks like a child at the age of 76. His face is covered with some wrinkles but still has a glow. He is very particular about his diet and many dishes he is not at all allowed to eat because of his heart problems.

I sat there holding his hand thinking about the days we spent together. Then suddenly Mom came and my eyes fell on her

' Siya , we informed Rythem he is on the way' she said

I just hummed in response
