Days full of Joy Chapter 1 Prologue

"I need a good story, within this week ,we have planned to publish a weekly magazine. You have to take the full responsibility" said the senior manager..

Soon after the meeting with the senior manager I went to the canteen and sat on the table close to the window with cup of hot coffee. It was drizzling outside I can feel the chillness on my face I was deeply thinking about the weekly magazine.....

Suddenly my phone was ringing I took my cell phone it was my bother and he said that he is going to come to the house after a long time. Nothing could give me a break until I'm ready with the story .Now I took my scooter riding on the usual road to my house.

I reach the house I found a new bike standing in front of my house I knew my brother has come .I went inside the house my brother was sitting on the couch watching TV.As I saw him I went and hugged him tightly, yes! my brother has grown taller than me I'm really happy to see him because whenever you feel alone remember there is someone in this world who care about you and waiting to see your happiness is only the one who has the same blood as you have .

I and my brother was chatting continuously we were totally unaware of the time. My heart almost stopped when I saw the clock it was close to midnight I rushed to my room, took a pen and a bunch of paper sat on the bed thinking deeply for a spark but it was almost an hour I didn't even keep a dot on the paper . I thought I can quit this because I'm not a writer or a poet .

Suddenly I heard a sound at my door ,it was my brother I called him in .He understood that I'm in some trouble he asked me "Hey what is your problem? Why are you so disturbed ? " yeah I'm disturbed you know in my office they are going to publish a weekly magazine so they gave me the full responsibility to write and publish the story"

After hearing this my brother sat quietly beside me ,after ten minutes he said "okay" let me give you an idea since you said you need a story I think this will help you" As soon as he said that my eye went big ,curiosity filled my heart I went near my brother and said "what idea you have? please tell me"

"Geetha I have a friend in my office he is my roommate too one day accidentally I got a chance to read his diary the events happened his life is so sensitive with lot of love with lot of pain I will tell you the beautiful days full of joy from the beginning...

My bank account showed exactly $42.18, and my student loan notifications were flashing red. I lived in a sweltering Queens apartment with my Aunt Lydia, where the air was thick with the smell of stale frying oil and the constant threat of being homeless. Lydia handed me a grainy photo of a man twice my age and told me she had already "sold" me to him. He was a dry cleaner looking for a wife, and in exchange for my hand, he would pay off her credit cards and my debt. If I didn't show up for the date that night, my boxes would be on the curb by midnight. I arrived at the cafe in a state of panic, my selective mutism making it impossible to even breathe. In the crowded room, I accidentally sat at the wrong table. Instead of the man from the photo, I found myself facing Gerhard Holcomb—the cold, terrifyingly handsome billionaire whose family owned the very museum where I worked. He didn't send me away; instead, he studied my trembling hands and offered me a different deal: a two-year contract marriage, a two-million-dollar payout, and a strict clause forbidding any children. I signed the papers and moved into his Park Avenue penthouse, thinking I was finally safe. But when I went back to the old apartment to retrieve the only memento of my dead parents, Lydia lashed out, leaving me bleeding from a head wound. Gerhard’s retaliation was absolute—he had her arrested and her building foreclosed on within hours, claiming he was simply "protecting his assets." As I recovered in his silent, glass-walled home, I saw a call from a famous socialite flash on his phone, and a cold truth settled in my gut. I wasn't just a wife; I was a placeholder, a silent shield used to fend off the women from his past. I looked at the massive pink diamond on my finger and realized the silence I had lived in my whole life was about to become my most expensive prison. I had traded a life of poverty for a high-stakes game of shadows, and now I had to survive the man who claimed to own me.

I sat on the edge of the examination table, the crinkle of the sanitary paper sounding like thunder in the sterile room. The doctor didn't even look at me as he confirmed the news: the pregnancy was over. My husband, Keyon, didn't answer my call. He just sent an automated text: "In a meeting." When I returned to our cold mansion, I found his iPad glowing with a message from his "muse," Katina. He was throwing her a secret gala tonight-on our third wedding anniversary. He told her he couldn't wait to escape the "boring" and "draining" atmosphere I created at home. Keyon didn't stumble in until 3 AM, smelling of Katina's perfume with a smear of red on his collar. When I handed him the divorce papers, he laughed in my face. He called me a "glorified housekeeper" with no skills and no future, promising I'd be back in three days begging for a subway ticket. He even bet his friends ten thousand dollars that I wouldn't survive a week without his name. He had his assistant cancel my credit cards and block my gate access before I even reached the end of the driveway. He wanted me to starve. He wanted me to crawl. He sat in his office, mocking the "desperate" woman who pawned her three-million-dollar wedding ring for scrap metal just to pay for a meal. I stood on the rainy curb, watching the man I had protected for three years treat my life like trash. He didn't know about the ultrasound I just threw in the bin. He didn't know that while he was calling me "dull," I was the one secretly writing the code that kept his billion-dollar empire from collapsing. As I slid into a cheap Uber, I opened a hidden, encrypted app on my phone. The screen refreshed to a dashboard for an account Keyon didn't know existed. The balance was ten figures long-the accumulated wealth of "Solaris," the world's most elusive tech genius. Keyon thinks he just evicted a parasite, but he's about to find out he just declared war on the only person who can hit "delete" on his entire life.
