CEO Daddy, Don't Go Too Far Chapter 1 Ran away from misfortune but then fell into another one.

It was late at night in T city at that time, and countless footsteps were coming from far and near in the spacious streets.

A girl in white dress was running desperately, followed by at least ten men in black clothes.

The girl had a slender figure and beautiful face, a pair of round eyes was set on her pointy oval face, the pinkness of her cheeks made her so cute and enchanting.

Her name was Corrine Watson, and she was twenty years old. Those people behind her were not guys who were passionately pursuing her, but the loansharking demons that her stepmother owed huge debts to, she was a gambler.

"Corrine, you are such a bad girl, don't run!", The man behind her wheezed.

Corrine couldn't help but rolling her eyes, "What a shame, If I listen you."

Looking at her back and her speed, every man behind her was angry.

If it wasn't for the debt, how could they suffer so much by chasing after her that they lost several dozen pounds?

The street lights suddenly went out in a flash.

"Shit!" Corrine scolded, she was busy running, but forgot that it was late night at that time, the street lights suddenly went out.

She had bad eyesight at night, liked the people with severe myopia. There was an apt medical term for her symptom, "temporary night blindness".

Those men looked at Corrine's sudden slowdown, they were shocked, this was a cunning girl, why she suddenly slowed down?

"Corrine Watson, stop quickly, I know you can't run." The men said tentatively.

Corrine smiled coldly and looked around the darkness, suddenly, she saw the light.

Hearing the footsteps coming closer and closer behind her, she rashly ran towards the light. God helped her.

Her life motto was to be aboveboard, including killing.

She shouldn't have suffered so much if she didn't vow.

Seeing the dim light, she ran over there only to find that it was a luxurious company with splendid decoration and the street in front of that company was bustling.

Corrine did not stop, the footsteps behind her was so close, she quickly pushed the door open and ran in, it was so late at that time, but that company didn't even closed the door, and there were even no security guards, that was so strange.

"Stop!" A voice came from behind her with extra urgency.

Corrine was a little embarrassed, at this time, she was still considering whether there was a security guard or not here, her thinking was really different from normal people. Instead of taking the elevator, she took the stairs and ran up the second floor, looking left and right, she eventually ran to the passage on the right and open one of the rooms at random and quickly hided inside.

Her movement was so smooth and fluid that when the men came up again, they couldn't even hear the sound of of closing door.

Corrine crouched down and leaned against the door, vigilantly looking around at the darkness, her ears pressed tightly against the door, straining to listen to the situation outside. The sound of those footsteps were still echoing in the hallway now.

Soon the sound of footsteps faded. Inside the room, Corrine listened carefully, sighing that she was still quite lucky, but she did not expect that she did not think so the next second, and much regretted to came here instead, especially for this room.

An ethereal voice rang out from above her head, "Ann, how about Plan B."

That person had a gorgeous baritone voice, which was magnetic with a little intoxication that could almost bewitch anyone's heart.

Corrine was clearly stunned. She looked up at him and found that it was an...unreadable man! Shit, there was someone in here and she hadn't heard it yet, it was not scientific!

Seeing that she did not speak for a long time, Donald Matthews frowned and reached out to pull her up, he was so fast that Corrine did not see his move.

When she reacted, she was already being held in Donald's arms, the smell of alcohol puffed her nose, she frowned, she hated alcohol.

"Ann, tell me the results!" Donald's voice was extremely cold, it was even more a total command.

Corrine frowned and tried hard to break free, but found that Donald was holding her hand, like a shackle, she was unable to break free.

This was the first time she couldn't break free from a man's grasp, her forehead was covered in cold sweat, she said, "You drank too much to recognize the wrong person, I am not Corrine."

Donald, however, sneered, he said, "Don't lie to me to make me angry, you can't pay the price, how about the mission exactly?" Then his words turned slightly, he was disdainful, "Are you still think of being my girl."

"I don't know you, let me go!" Corrine was speechless and couldn't help scolding in her heart, what was wrong with this man! She didn't even know what his plan was, so how could she tell him what the outcome would be?

Donald grunted coldly, with full of sarcasm, and suddenly lowered his head and kissed her lips.

Corrine was stunned in a daze, what kind of situation was this, she had protected her first kiss for almost twenty years but it was snatched by a stranger now?

Her stunning gave Donald a chance. He directly pried open her teeth with his tongue, and aggressively invaded the sweetness inside, even more, he caught Corrine's little tongue in the mouth and frolicked with her tongue.

As the president of Matthews Group, many beautiful women around him were trying hard to seduce him and wait for his great love. He was never short of women, but he had never kissed another woman in his life except for Lisa. He didn't expect that such a spirited woman could give him such a sweet feeling.

The rain in Detroit was slick with grime when my family finally came to fetch me. They didn't want a reunion; they wanted a sacrificial lamb to marry into the Kaufman empire to save their failing business. I thought I was just being sold off, but the limo ride ended under a dark overpass where six hired thugs were waiting with chains. My own sister had ordered them to "break my spirit" so I’d be a shaking, pathetic mess by the time I reached the altar. They called me "Detroit trash" and sprayed air freshener when I sat on their leather seats. My stepmother wanted a video of me begging for my life, and my father was ready to trade me like a used car to a man everyone called a "vegetable." They expected a submissive country girl, unaware that I was a high-level "cleaner" who could snap a radius bone before they could even scream. When I finally reached the Kaufman estate, I found my fiancé, Barron, slumped in a wheelchair, drooling and silent. But as soon as the doors closed, the "invalid" grabbed my wrist with a grip of iron and whispered a command that changed everything. I didn't understand why my own blood was so desperate to see me destroyed. What had I ever done to deserve a hit squad and a forced marriage to a man they thought was a corpse? But Barron isn't a vegetable, and I'm not a victim. We just touched down at the Moon family gala in a matte-black helicopter, and as the doors slide open, the "broken" bride is about to show them exactly what happens when you throw away the wrong daughter. "If we're going to crash a party," Barron whispered, his eyes burning with lethal clarity, "we should make an entrance."

I sat on the edge of the examination table, the crinkle of the sanitary paper sounding like thunder in the sterile room. The doctor didn't even look at me as he confirmed the news: the pregnancy was over. My husband, Keyon, didn't answer my call. He just sent an automated text: "In a meeting." When I returned to our cold mansion, I found his iPad glowing with a message from his "muse," Katina. He was throwing her a secret gala tonight-on our third wedding anniversary. He told her he couldn't wait to escape the "boring" and "draining" atmosphere I created at home. Keyon didn't stumble in until 3 AM, smelling of Katina's perfume with a smear of red on his collar. When I handed him the divorce papers, he laughed in my face. He called me a "glorified housekeeper" with no skills and no future, promising I'd be back in three days begging for a subway ticket. He even bet his friends ten thousand dollars that I wouldn't survive a week without his name. He had his assistant cancel my credit cards and block my gate access before I even reached the end of the driveway. He wanted me to starve. He wanted me to crawl. He sat in his office, mocking the "desperate" woman who pawned her three-million-dollar wedding ring for scrap metal just to pay for a meal. I stood on the rainy curb, watching the man I had protected for three years treat my life like trash. He didn't know about the ultrasound I just threw in the bin. He didn't know that while he was calling me "dull," I was the one secretly writing the code that kept his billion-dollar empire from collapsing. As I slid into a cheap Uber, I opened a hidden, encrypted app on my phone. The screen refreshed to a dashboard for an account Keyon didn't know existed. The balance was ten figures long-the accumulated wealth of "Solaris," the world's most elusive tech genius. Keyon thinks he just evicted a parasite, but he's about to find out he just declared war on the only person who can hit "delete" on his entire life.

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch—a titan of industry and my best friend’s father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

I had just survived a private jet crash, my body a map of violet bruises and my lungs still burning from the smoke. I woke up in a sterile hospital room, gasping for my husband's name, only to realize I was completely alone. While I was bleeding in a ditch, my husband, Adam, was on the news smiling at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. When I tracked him down at the hospital's VIP wing, I didn't find a grieving husband. I found him tenderly cradling his ex-girlfriend, Casie, in his arms, his face lit with a protective warmth he had never shown me as he carried her into the maternity ward. The betrayal went deeper than I could have imagined. Adam admitted the affair started on our third anniversary-the night he claimed he was stuck in London for a merger. Back at the manor, his mother had already filled our planned nursery with pink boutique bags for Casie's "little princess." When I demanded a divorce, Adam didn't flinch. He sneered that I was "gutter trash" from a foster home and that I'd be begging on the streets within a week. To trap me, he froze my bank accounts, cancelled my flight, and even called the police to report me for "theft" of company property. I realized then that I wasn't his partner; I was a charity case he had plucked from obscurity to manage his life. To the Hortons, I was just a servant who happened to sleep in the master bedroom, a "resilient" woman meant to endure his abuse in silence while the whole world laughed at the joke that was my marriage. Adam thought stripping me of his money would make me crawl back to him. He was wrong. I walked into his executive suite during his biggest deal of the year and poured a mug of sludge over his original ten-million-dollar contracts. Then, right in front of his board and his mistress, I stripped off every designer thread he had ever paid for until I was standing in nothing but my own silk camisole. "You can keep the clothes, Adam. They're as hollow as you are." I grabbed my passport, turned my back on his billions, and walked out of that glass tower barefoot, bleeding, and finally free.
