When Dimisha took the first step on this path, she had no idea where this would end. She just listened to her inner voice. A voice that was telling her only one thing. "IN THE END, YOU WILL FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR," Before all of this, she was just a regular girl with simple dreams. She wanted to see the world, learn about people. She wanted to know if someone is good why that is, and if someone is afraid to be good, why it is. She does not know anyhing about her parents. Who they are or why they left her. She came to know about the meaning of a family, by the orphanage she was bought up. But life is not a bed of roses. It never goes with our plans. An ordinary girl came to know that there was an extraordinary story behind her. After knowing that, she could not stay in the orphanage. Not that she did not like that place. That place was her life, her family. But, there was also another part of her life, unraveled, felt like a blank space. She could not live with that. Bharata, a warrior whose fight was against some unknown forces. Most of the people are unaware of it. But, the reason behind humans or any other lives we see now around us is living only because of him. Believe it or not, that's true, and Dimisha was his blood. As the heir of Bharata, she has some duty, some responsibility, to perform, and she happily accepted all of these.

Agni....the secret door Chapter 1 A.

When it started, no one thought that there was something coming for them to destroy everything they knew.

Maybe the danger is like that. It comes with no warning.

It's middle of the night and all the tribe was sleeping in their tiny huts except for a few which had the duty to guard them on that night.

"It's just an earthquake " that's what they thought. It's common to that area. They felt that shaking often.

But, after some time it did not stop like other days. On the contrary, it reached its peak.

The shaking of the land got worse and worse. The bamboos, holding those huts were not able to stand still. They started to fall along with the roofs and walls.

People came out, shouting, feeling terrified. Some of them were carrying their children tightly.

Within a fraction of time, the jungle was echoed with the screamings, and not only those people were screaming, but also the animals and birds and every living thing in the jungle, even the diurnal one too.

Everyone could feel it, that something incredibly powerful was coming for them.

"What is happening?" One of them shouted coming towards a guard.

The guard kept looking at him with his eyes wide open. Words were not coming out from his mouth. It's a cold winter night, though he was covered with a layer of sweat.

Those were the people who did not know anything about the world outside the jungle. Their thoughts were primitive like an animal. They kill anything only for two reasons, when it comes to eat them or when they need to eat it. A long time ago, some outsiders tried to enter their territory, but it did not end well.

Stones, poison arrows, and stakes were their weapons, and the new threat coming for them, they could not stop it with all those.

At this time, only hope for them was Pradhan.

Pradhan was not a name. Its a title given to the head of the tribe. For them, Pradhan was the smartest and bravest man they had ever known. He saved them from infinite menaces before. Once, they remember, a tiger was hunting them one after one. They lost many of them. But, Pradhan was the one who killed that man-eater and saved his people.

They believe, he will come up with something this time too.

Everyone ran toward him.

"Pradhan, what are we going to do?"

"Pradhan, we are going to die, "

"Pradhan, do something,"

He was surrounded by questions...questions of which he had no answer. By looking at his face, it is hard to tell, but he was also scared like others. He had no idea what was going on and what to do.

"Everybody, calm down. It will over soon," he said, hiding his fear.

Pradhan's word could not able to give much impact on others. He himself not confident about what he said.

"Wait, something is coming. It's close, "someone said.

Everyone looked at him. Closing his eyes, he was trying to hear something.

He was right. There was something close to them. But it's not what they thought.

The land started to crack all over, like someone moving below the surface.

" Run, " Pradhan shouted.

"That's the only reasonable thing we can do." He thought.

They were waiting for him to say that.

Everyone started to run. They did not know where they were going. Just running and running as far as they could. Pradhan went with them too.

After some time, the situation seemed to be got calm. Shaking of the land stopped.

With heavy breathings, they kept looking at each other, trying to feel the situation. They were still in shock.

"I think it's gone," one of them whispered, touching the ground.

"Wait, don't go near it. It may be waiting for us,"

"But someone has to go,"

They were looking at each other, waiting for someone to make the first move.

"No one needs to go. " Pradhan spoke, "We will wait here until the sun rises,"

Everyone agreed not to go back to their place at night. Anyway, it's almost dawn. They decided to wait for the sun to rise. They sat down wherever they were, leaning to trees, or rocks.

After a long period of the fearful night, the sunlight touched the ground.

"Pradhan, I think we should go now," one guard said to his ear.

Pradhan was taking a nap, resting his head on a tree. He opened his eyes while yawning.

"We can go now. Tell everyone to move," he stood up and looked around.

"Pradhan asked everyone to walk with him, "that man shouted.

Those people were laying here and there. As they got the order, they stood up.

"But, keep your eyes open. The danger may not over yet," he said looking at them.

Slowly slowly, they approached their home. The guards were keeping their spears ready to attack if something jumps on them.

But, there was nothing which they could consider scary, except for the broken pieces of their huts.

The condition of the huts was not good.

Their eyes remained wide open to see them. All of them were scattered into pieces. The land had many cracks all over.

"It looks like those cracks are coming from that side," one tribal people said, observing the pattern.

Pradhan sat down and started to get a closer look.

"Yeah, you are right. Those are coming from that side. There must be something happened last night on the bank,"

"What will we do now, Pradhan?"

"All of you start to work. Build your huts again. Help each other," he ordered.

They began to collect the scattered pieces of their huts.

"Romeng," he summoned someone.

"What is it, Pradhan?" Romeng asked, rushing towards him.

"We have to go and see what happened last night," he said, keeping his voice low.

"Will it be safe to go there? This thing looks very strong. What if it is waiting for us?"

Romeng was terrorized to go with him.

"We can not sit like this. We have to do something. Otherwise, it will haunt us again. So, let's gather some of our men and go,"

"You want to go right now?"

"Yes, we should not wait. As time goes, it will get more and more powerful. It's better to crush it now,"

"But.." Romeng wanted to say something but stopped.

"You see those people, those families. They count on me. I can not let my fear stop me. You understand that?"

Romeng nodded his head and went to gather a few men to go with him.

Pradhan was standing there, looking at them. They were busy with their works. Some of the were making their huts, some others were preparing the meal.

He released a sigh.

Romeng was returned with two men.

Pradhan looked at them and said," Gaurang and Mirgang, has he told you where we are going?"

"We are going near the river to see what's there," Mriganag replied.

"Do you two agree to go with me?"

"Yes, we do. You are our Pradhan. We will follow your every order without question,"

"In that case, I don't see any reason to wait. Go and take your weapons. We will leave now. Bring my spear too,"

They immediately walked away and quickly returned with spears in their hand. They were also carrying bow and arrows.

"Pradhan, here it is, your spear," Romeng gave him a spear.

"You people keep doing what you are doing. We are going to deal with the cause of last night's attack. When I return, everything should be rebuilt,"

Giving them orders, he walked towards the river with his three companions.

I lay paralyzed on stiff white sheets, a prisoner in my own skin, listening to the rain lash against the window like nails on a coffin. My father, Elmore Franco, didn't even look at my face as he checked his clipboard. He just listened to the steady, monotonous beep of the heart monitor-the only thing proving I was still alive. Without a hint of remorse, he pulled a pen from his pocket and signed the Do Not Resuscitate order. My stepmother, Ophelia, stepped out from behind him, wearing my favorite pearl necklace and smelling of cloying perfume. She leaned close to my ear to whisper the truth that turned my blood to ice. "It was the tea, darling. Just like your mother. A slow, tasteless poison." She chuckled as she revealed that my fiancé, Bryce, had a two-year-old son with my sister, Daniela. My inheritance had been funding their secret life for years, and now that the money was secure, I was an inconvenience they were finally scrubbing away. As my father yanked the power cord from the wall, the beeping died, and the darkness swallowed me whole. I was being murdered by my own flesh and blood, used as a bank account until I was no longer needed. I died in that sterile room, drowning in the realization that every person I ever loved was a monster who had been waiting for me to take my last breath. Then, I gasped. I woke up in a luxury hotel suite surrounded by silk sheets, five years in the past-the very morning of my wedding. Next to me lay Basile Delgado, the "Wolf of Wall Street" and my family's most dangerous enemy. In my first life, I ran from this room in a panic and lost everything. This time, I looked at the man who would eventually destroy my father's empire and decided to join him. "I'm not leaving, Basile. Marry me. Right now. Today."

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ "I want to get a divorce, Mark," I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time-even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.

I arrived at the hotel with Julian's favorite takeout, ready to surprise my fiancé before our big merger. But the moment I swiped the keycard, the silence of the hallway felt heavy and wrong. Inside, a red-soled stiletto lay on the marble floor-the same one I'd watched my best friend Lila try on at Saks last week. Through the cracked bedroom door, I watched Julian's back arch as Lila looked me straight in the eye and smiled, wrapping her legs tighter around him to mock my heartbreak. I fled to the penthouse to hide, only to find Grafton, Julian's "crippled" brother, waiting in the dark. To my horror, the man who was supposed to be paralyzed stood up from his wheelchair, gripped my chin with cold fingers, and forced me to sign a contract that gave him control of my family's shares. He knew about my mother's secret medical bills and used them to buy my silence, effectively turning my life into a calculated game of corporate chess. The betrayal tasted like acid, and the injustice of it all burned in my throat. My fiancé was a liar, my best friend was a thief, and the man now controlling my fate was a predator who had been faking his disability for years. I couldn't understand how everyone I trusted had turned out to be a monster. I was trapped between a man who cheated on me and a man who wanted to own me, with no way out and no one to turn to. But when Julian came looking for me, Grafton didn't hide; he stood tall, looming over me with a possessive glint in his eyes. "Help me destroy Julian," I rasped, realizing that to survive the Faulkner men, I had to become the most dangerous player of them all.
