The Mysterious Alphas daughter Chapter 1 1

{Hazel's POV}

Ahh, my head hurts like hell, I opened my eyes trying to adjust to the light in the room. Everywhere in this room was white and sparkling. Where the fvck am I, it only took seconds for me to realize I was at the VIP section of a hospitals ward. How in the world did I get here. I tried lifting my hands but couldn't, I tried screaming but no sound came.

Heck, I was tired from struggling to wake up, I was tired and sick of what I was feeling. All I knew right now was that I couldn't wake up. I wasn't asleep. My eyes were open, I could see virtually everything in this room but it felt like they were not open anyways.

No one was here with me, and suddenly darkness started creeping in. And then here I was on this dark, lonely streets alone. And then in split seconds, everywhere was filled with blood and bones, wounded and dead people. Woah, and right before my eyes they all vanished. Where did they go to?

I began walking down this lonely paths, I tried to stop myself from moving but it felt like I was being remoted. I felt a presence walking behind me and so I stopped and turned to find a cute little girl, with pure blue eyes and a brown curly hair. She was wearing a white gown that looked like it was submerged in blood, and when she peered at me, her eyes turned blood filled.

What the heck, Hazel, run. That was all I could hear at the back of my head right now but I couldn't lift my legs. Something was in control of me definitely. And just then, the little girl walked past me and said,

"Come with me, Hazel, there is a lot you need to know." Her voice were so comforting and yet instructing, so I did as she instructed.

But the next thing I spat out confused me,

"Am I dead?" I asked as she walked past me.

"No, Hazel, you're not dead but you're just about dying if you don't do just as I say." She scoffed. There's something really off with this

"Who are you?" I asked trying to know why in the world a kid would be out here instructing me.

"Geez, Hazel, do you always ask this many questions. She sighed, "My name is Ava and I am your protector."

Wait, what!!!! this kid is supposed to protect me, then I'm sure if danger arises we are both dying. I felt the urge to just scream at her and tell her to go back to her parents. Damn it.

Just then some men appeared from nowhere, wait were they coming for us,

Good, now we are in trouble, and I can do nothing about it anyways. The fact that my dad is an alpha and I'm not a wolf is what remained a mystery. But then, just when I thought I felt my bones shifting, nothing happened.

I looked at the little girl that was supposed to be my protector and she was already in a fighting position.

Well she is the protector, so she should be doing the fighting part while I'll have to run for life. Just as I took to my heels, I felt a pang of guilt, I can't leave her here all by herself.

"Run, Hazel." She screamed and God knows the delight that filled my heart when I heard those words. That was all I needed as I took to my heels, I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, but soon I suddenly felt exhausted. I tried as much as I could to keep running but I was drained of strength. I looked over my shoulders to see my protector fighting with those men, and one of them was directly coming for me. I had to hide, so I dived into a corner dark enough so no one could see me.

The man came to an abrupt halt and slowly began approaching me. I closed my eyes waiting for the worst that would come. Just then I heard a loud thud like as if it was a bang in the head. And when I opened my eyes, I saw Ava infront of me, glaring hardly at the man.

The man tried to fight with Ava, but shockingly Ava just laid her hands on his neck and looked deeply into his eyes.

Excuse me lady, you're supposed to be protecting me, not staring passionately at a monster. What the heck was she doing.

But then I noticed something, once she let go of the man, the man couldn't fight her anymore, instead he began fighting his other men.

Geez, how did she do that? She wasn't going to be able to do so unless she was a confessor. But I thought those were tales, hell, I've just seen the first confession ever.

With those men out of the way, she motioned to me to come over.

"Those men......why were they after us?" I asked out of anxiety.

"Hazel!!! Focus on the present." I could see her eyes shooting daggers at me but then no, I'm not giving up.

"You're my protector, right?" I asked trying to keep my head together.

"I've said that before, Hazel." She scoffed, she was probably sick of me asking her this questions.

"Why did you choose to be my protector?" I asked again.

"You think if it was up to me I would have chosen you, nah, you're such a pain in the neck."

"So who asked you to be my protector?" I asked yet again. I really wanted to understand what was going on.

"Hazel!!! Focus." she ordered with an angry tone

"That man....when you touched him..what did you do to him?"

"You want to know what I did to that man, ask me one more question."

And with that she started moving as I trailed her behind.

We kept on walking until we got to a tower that looked like it has been abandoned for centuries. Ava and I then walked in passing through series of gates till we were inside the tower house. All I could see were books and books and books. This certainly looked like a library or more of a museum. I stayed close to Ava, when we heard a hoist laugh from a corner of the tower. I turned to see where the sound was coming from, and suddenly there appeared a throne and a woman was on it. She looked as beautiful as a mermaid but yet fierce as a Dragon.

"Who's that, Ava." I said with fear and perspiration all over my body. I felt goosebumps on my skin as I held Ava with all my might like my life depended on her.

"Shhhh, Hazel... She is called AKIRA mother of the seven stones." She answered in low tones almost as if she was whispering.

"Seven stones?? What the hell is that?" I queried

"Hazel.. focus, you can't ask that many questions in here." She answered with a furrowed brow.

"Hazel, mother." Ava said as she bowed and shifted to a corner making me stand directly to the woman.

"Good, Ava, a job well done." She complimented as she smiled at Ava.

"They are still after her, mother." Ava said with a face filled with worry.

"Who?." Akira asked.

You could see the anger in her expression, it was almost as if there were demons in her eyes. She looked more offended and defiled than angry, and i began to wonder why all this had to involve me somehow.

All i ever wanted was to live a peaceful and calm life with my friends, but it felt like that chance would never come. It was always from one trouble to the other.

Truly as my dad always said, 'my life was complicated.'

"The MANTIS army in collaboration with the witches." Ava replied jolting me to reality

"No way, I need more information on that....but that's for later," she sighed, "Hazel, come with me, there is something you need to know."

I followed her obediently because her aura was so intimidating. We walked up to the upper Chambers of the tower through a conjoining door till we got go a room called THE FORBIDDEN ROOM.

"This is the forbidden room, in this room you'll learn a lot about yourself."

She said as she winked at me.

"Come in, come in." She said grinning, but i had to ask her this now.

"Learn a lot about myself, huh, I know who I am, I am Hazel, daughter of alpha Daniel. What else is there to know?." I said with a smirk on my face. What the hell.

"Hush now Hazel, step onto the portal, and close your eyes." Akira instructed. I wanted to obey, but i also wanted to understand first.

"But........" I tried saying but she cut me off. Her presence became terrifying and cold, and i had to obey.

"Now Hazel, it's now or never cause, it's almost time to return home." Akira said again as she urged me to do as she commanded

I closed my eyes as I stepped on the portal.

"Breathe." Akira Instructed like a stern mother.

I breathed slowly and steadily with both eyes closed as I felt a surge of electricity flow through me.

"Focus Hazel, listen to sound of the trees breathing along with you as you feel rooted in this moment." She said almost in a whisper and with authority.

Just then Ava and Akira began chanting.

"The maiden, the mother, the crown."

"The maiden, the mother, the crown."

They kept chanting and chanting. Woah, was this some kind of initiation or what.

How is this supposed to help me learn more about myself.

{Xena's Pov}

"How is the girl?." I asked with a smirk on my face.

"Done and dusted." Tayla answered with a huge smile on her face.

"Is she dead yet." That is the only thing I want to hear at the moment.

"Umm, no aunt, she's unconscious at the moment but I assure that she won't make it out alive, there is no way that is possible." Tayla answered with all the braveness she could gather. That's how I like it anyways

"Well then, keep a eye on her, and secondly have you seen Flint?." I asked. That knuckle butt called my son.

"No aunt, but if I see him, I'll tell him that you're looking for him." She answered with her head fownt.

"Forget it, I'll find him myself, I'm sure he's up to something." I said

"Yes aunt." Tayla answered.

"You may leave, now." I instructed dismissing her

"But aunt, there is something I'd like to dis........."

She tried to say.

"I said you're excused, leave." I interrupted her leaving her no choice but to do as I said

"Ok aunt." She said as she curtsied and left.

That girl is not dead yet, hmm, I see, maybe she needs a little bang on the head. I ain't giving her no choices this time. She has to return to Hades. This earth is no longer meant for her. Her time is up.

Her mission on earth is over.

It's time for a new target.

{Charlotte pov}

We all were at the hospitals ward, and when I say we all, I mean all our gang members. Hazel was one of us but no one has any idea on what happened to her. Shes just unconscious and there is no sign of her waking up. We can't losing her. It was just the four. I , Hazel,Axel and Rowan. We were hated because we were human among the wolves. But it was still strange since Hazel belongs to the wolves blood line but she's not a wolve, neither is she a human or at least a witch. We all sat silently round her praying for a miracle to happen. Till Axel broke the silence.

"Guys, I was just thinking about something just now." He said as he crossed his arms and stared at Hazel grabbing our attention.

"And what could that be?." Rowan asked as we peered into Axel's eyes with keen interest.

"What if....what if Hazel never wakes up. I mean, What are we gonna do?." He blurted out with tear filled eyes.

"Shut the fvck up Axel, we can't think negative now, Hazel is a fighter, she'll definitely come out of this. I Know it." Rowan said giving us all the assurance we needed.

Tbe next thing Axel did was to kneek in front of Hazel and he said.

"You have to wake up Hazel, if not for anything, for us." Axel broke down in tears, no doubt he was scared of losing her. We were all scared anyways.

I could feel the pain, the pain of losing one of our best friends. The pain of seeing Hazel in pain and not able to do anything. Yes it's true, you have to wake up Hazel. We are not giving up on you, not now, not ever.

HONEY MULLINS

Six years ago, I was a naive girl sold by my father to the powerful Sanders estate, only to be tossed onto the streets after a brutal assault they labeled "marital infidelity." I fled the country pregnant and broken, hiding from the shadow of a husband I had never even met. Now, I've returned to New York with my triplets to sign the final divorce papers and disappear forever. But Archibald Sanders-the man I was told was a crippled recluse-intercepted us with the cold precision of a predator. He didn't see the woman his family destroyed; he saw a gold-digger who had shamed his name. His security team hunted us to a grimy motel, using tactical force to snatch my children away and drag me to his glass-walled empire. In his office, he loomed over me, demanding a DNA test and threatening to throw me in prison while my babies were lost to the foster system. He was convinced I'd cheated, yet he stared at my sons with a haunting confusion, unable to ignore the stormy blue eyes that were a perfect mirror of his own. I stood there, paralyzed by his scent-the sharp tang of rain and expensive leather that triggered the icy dread of my worst nightmares. How could he accuse me of betrayal when he felt exactly like the monster who had shattered my life in that dark hotel room? "I'll sign anything," I sobbed, "just give me my kids." But the game changed when my five-year-old son hacked the tower's security, holding the skyscraper hostage to save me. In the chaos, a fragile, silent boy-Archibald's secret son-wandered into the room and reached for me as if I were his missing soul. Archibald's face turned to stone as he tore up the agreement and locked the doors. "Until I find out why my son is looking at you like that," he growled, "you aren't going anywhere."

My bank account showed exactly $42.18, and my student loan notifications were flashing red. I lived in a sweltering Queens apartment with my Aunt Lydia, where the air was thick with the smell of stale frying oil and the constant threat of being homeless. Lydia handed me a grainy photo of a man twice my age and told me she had already "sold" me to him. He was a dry cleaner looking for a wife, and in exchange for my hand, he would pay off her credit cards and my debt. If I didn't show up for the date that night, my boxes would be on the curb by midnight. I arrived at the cafe in a state of panic, my selective mutism making it impossible to even breathe. In the crowded room, I accidentally sat at the wrong table. Instead of the man from the photo, I found myself facing Gerhard Holcomb—the cold, terrifyingly handsome billionaire whose family owned the very museum where I worked. He didn't send me away; instead, he studied my trembling hands and offered me a different deal: a two-year contract marriage, a two-million-dollar payout, and a strict clause forbidding any children. I signed the papers and moved into his Park Avenue penthouse, thinking I was finally safe. But when I went back to the old apartment to retrieve the only memento of my dead parents, Lydia lashed out, leaving me bleeding from a head wound. Gerhard’s retaliation was absolute—he had her arrested and her building foreclosed on within hours, claiming he was simply "protecting his assets." As I recovered in his silent, glass-walled home, I saw a call from a famous socialite flash on his phone, and a cold truth settled in my gut. I wasn't just a wife; I was a placeholder, a silent shield used to fend off the women from his past. I looked at the massive pink diamond on my finger and realized the silence I had lived in my whole life was about to become my most expensive prison. I had traded a life of poverty for a high-stakes game of shadows, and now I had to survive the man who claimed to own me.

I stood in the darkest corner of the Pierre Hotel’s ballroom, my cheap polyester dress itching against my skin while my wristband buzzed with a DARPA Priority Red alert. In front of the city’s elite, my fiancé Bryce Calloway took the stage, not to toast our future, but to publicly end our engagement and announce he was with my sister, Chloe. The room turned on me instantly, a hundred pairs of eyes pinning me down with pity and disgust as they physically backed away like I was contagious. When I returned home, my mother shattered a crystal vase at my feet, screaming that I was a humiliation and a "dropout" who didn't deserve a cent of the family fortune. Chloe and Bryce mocked me, laughing when I told them I had a mission with the National Security Agency, convinced I was either a pathological liar or a low-level criminal. They watched in horror as a black, unmarked military helicopter descended on our backyard to extract me, yet they still chose to believe I was being arrested for drug trafficking. They saw a pathetic girl who couldn't even parallel park, never realizing I was Dr. Nova Vance, the lead physicist behind the world's first successful fusion reactor. To secure funding for my research and gain a "fortress" of a name, I signed a thirty-day marriage contract with the arrogant billionaire Roman Knight. He treats me like a fraud, convinced I’m a gold-digger who failed out of college, while I quietly run global energy simulations from his guest bedroom. He has no idea that the "loser" he’s forced to live with is the same anonymous grandmaster who has been ruthlessly crushing him in online strategy games for months. "The contract is active," I told him, looking past his expensive suit. "But don't expect me to be your maid."

I woke up in a blindingly white hotel penthouse with a throbbing headache and the taste of betrayal in my mouth. The last thing I remembered was my stepsister, Cathie, handing me a flute of champagne at the charity gala with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. Now, a tall, dangerously handsome man walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his hips. On the nightstand sat a stack of hundred-dollar bills. My stepmother had finally done it-she drugged me and staged a scandal with a hired escort to destroy my reputation and my future. "Aisha! Is it true you spent the night with a gigolo?" The shouts of a dozen reporters echoed through the heavy oak door as camera flashes exploded through the peephole. My phone lit up with messages showing my bank accounts were already frozen. My father was invoking the 'morality clause' in my mother's trust fund, and my fiancé had already released a statement dumping me to marry my stepsister instead. I was trapped, penniless, and being hunted by the press for a scandal I hadn't even participated in. My own family had sold me out for a payday, and the man standing in front of me was the only witness who could prove I was innocent-or finish me off for good. I didn't have time to cry. According to the fine print of the trust, I had thirty days to prove my "rehabilitation" through a legal marriage or I would lose everything. I tracked the man down to a coffee shop the next morning, watching him take a thick envelope of cash from a wealthy older woman. I sat across from him and slid a napkin with a $50,000 figure written on it. "I need a husband. Legal, paper-signed, and convincing." He looked at the number, then at me, a slow, crooked smile spreading across his face. I thought I was hiring a desperate gigolo to save my inheritance. I had no idea I was actually proposing to Dominic Fields, the reclusive billionaire shark who was currently planning a hostile takeover of my father's entire empire.
