Kayla's POV ( point of view)

I flipped through the pages of my school notes as I scanned every written notes, just reading my notes.

I just felt like today cause it's not my thing.

I yawned heavily as sleep was finally crawling into my eyes, finally I flunged the book sideways of my lagre room resting fully on my queen sized bed.

Thinking about tomorrow makes me happy a lot, finally I will be visiting Jeju island, the highest mountain in South Korea.

I have browsed a lot about it and it's such a beautiful place. My happiness knew no bounds, am damn anxious wishing the Time flies so fast, Just remaining eight more hours to go cause we the students are to get to school as early as possible, those who payed the fees though.

I heard footsteps and I knew it was my mum, I hid under the sheets , that Cranky woman.

" C'mon pull off those duvets and stop decieving yourself, I know you aren't sleeping! Oh my gosh, you haven't even taken your night bath. C'mon don't be a dirty girl " mum yelled spanking my ass so hard and I chuckled slightly throwing the duvets aside.

" Mummmmm... But I was sleeping" I said with a fake yawn.

" The Kayla I know hardly sleeps, always practicing night vigil and that's why you're lean like a broom" mum joked and I laughed so hard.

Mum was right, I do stay up late at night doing all sort of researches online with my Phone , someday I wish to become an explorer but that's opposite of mum's decision, Just too over protective.

Mum suddenly pulled me closer stroking my hair.

" Am gonna miss you a lot Kayla " mum said and I let out a short laugh.

" But mum , it's just a two days excursion but don't worry ! I will be fine" I assured and she kissed me passionately on my forehead.

" I know, just be careful, be a good girl and stay away from anything that will hurt you okay? Mum loves you a million times and don't forget to have your bath " she said and we both did the love sign before she stood up to leave.

Mum cherishes me so much since am her only child after dad died, oh yes am fatherless since year two according to mum. He died of brain cancer, it's a long story which I have no time to spare to explain all that.

I just live alone with my mom, thankfully dad left a lot of properties and mom took over as the new CEO, no family disturbance and since then, we have been living all alone for the past Fourteen years since father left us . if you're smart, you will get my age .

I stood up lazily to the bathroom like mum ordered and had a warm bath which made me feel better and comfortable.

I spent a longer time there as I laid on the bath tub with bubbles all over my body imagining how jeju Island would be so beautiful. Wow ! The name sounds so funny,very funny.

After for what seems like eternity, I came out of the toilet and wrapped a pink towel round my chest drying my leg on the pink doormat.

I dried my body moving to my wardrobe which was painted pink and decided to put on a pink nightie .

I slipped on the sparkling pink nightie and then packed my hair in a bun style before using a hair cover.

Proceeding to dress my bed, pink in colour and also pink blankets, you will think am crazy but am not but crazily in love with letter P which stands for pink.

I so much love the pink colour, its beautiful .

Every single thing occupying my room was all in the pink colour even my back pack, my hair bond , clothes , underwear and everything. Most especially my large pink teddy, the one I admire most.

Curling myself like ball after placing my teddy closer and pulling the duvet which stops at my waist , I tried to sleep but sleep was far away from me , damn far. Anxiousness beclouded everything in me thinking about jeju Island. I looked at my portable box which was neatly arranged by my lovely mum, the things in the box are the materials I need for the excursion, just two days seems like two years to my mum . It was a beautifully designed pink box !

My phone pinged indicating a message came in, it also has a pink pouch . It was my crazy bestie named Briella.

" Hey bbi , sleeping?"

I read the message silently and chuckled slightly.

" Of course no! I can't wait for the excursion , trip to jeju Island! " I typed and inserted a lovely sticker before pressing the send button.

After waiting for few minutes without reply, I dived online researching about unusual things and also reading the all kind of news ranging from general, entertainment, politics, sports and everything else.

Something caught my attention and I quickly visited the page.

TEN DEMONS THAT DO EXISTS

I laughed so hard, such a fake news , demons don't exist, just fun any ways.

They were ten in number but only one demon still lives, others are no longer alive .

Somehow, it gave me chills.

I began reading more about it and found out , it was the most wicked demon living for thousands of years and usually feeds On human blood .

" Human blood! " I exclaimed, so irritating making me wanna puke , I was getting scared already, I hate horror movies and this looks like a horror story to me.

But something is strange ! How can a demon feed on human blood when it's not a vampire or is it a demon vampire.

Crazy !

Well, I don't believe in those shit just that it's giving me creeps.

The picture of the so called demon was not fully shown and kinda blurry.

I rushed out of the page and switched off my phone, I hate scary things, I will began imagining horrific things.

Pulling the duvet above my head and forcing my self to sleep but seems impossible.

" It is the most wicked demon and has lived for a thousands years, it feeds on human blood"

It keeps ringing on my head making me feel goosebumps all over my body .

I tried to believe it's just a fabricated story but half of my body is disagreeing to that .

Finally standing up and tiptoeing out of my room,I moved to the dining and swallowed two pills of sleeping drug laying on the table and accompanied it with a glass of water.

I sighed heavily and tiptoed back to my room to avoid mum's knowledge.

Before I knew it ! Sleep visited me.

" Let me go ! Who are you " I yelled in pains as I struggled out of the chains used to bind me.

His wicked laughter filled the empty room sounding treble, I was scared.

I wasn't in a good shape as I was badly injured with my scattered hair. Blood was dripping down the part binded by the chains, I cried in Agony.

" We have just only few time left to begin our mission on the 21st generation" His voice sounded so loud and authoritative as the ground shook and the window dabbed.

There was heavy breeze together with lightening and I was only able to view his back, he was clothed in a black cloak as he backed me.

" What do you want from me! Who are you " I asked as some of my hair already sticked to my face.

" You will know soon,Just soon."

I woke up from the nightmare sweating profusely as my hear raced, what sort of a dream was that.

It was somewhat similar with repeated dreams I had every three months but this one was more scary and looks real

I couldn't even understand it, what's wrong with me today. This is so unusual and it's giving me creeps . Argggg!

I looked at the big round clock and it was already past two at midnight, I rarely wake up at the middle of sleep. Today is kinda wired!

I couldn't even sleep anymore as sleep vacated my eyes, even sleeping pills doesn't works, how pathetic !.

The heavy breeze blew indicating it's about to rain, I curled my self like a ball trying to sleep but sleep already travelled from my eyes.

All that filled my mind was the wierd news and wierd dream or it a bad sign I shouldn't attend the excursion?.
