Chapter 1 .

We are in a highly renowned private high school. Today is Monday, solemn day to return to the new school year. As usual, all students must gather in the auditorium, the great hall for solemn entrances, parties and other things. Wesley is new to high school, enrolled in senior year.

At 07:00 already, he is in the school, he does not know anyone except a longtime friend who attended this school since the second. Wesley looks around but doesn't see his friend so he goes to stand by the school's main entrance door waiting for his friend to come.

A few minutes later, his friend enters the courtyard of the school, he passes without seeing Wesley and this one advanced behind him to close his eyes.

Him: but who is this patient who dares to do this to me...? But... Release my eyes.

Wesley: Guess who that sick guy is.

(Immediately he recognizes Wesley's voice and exclaims).

Him: Wesley!!!!

(He pulls his hands away from his eyes and they stand face to face, Wesley exclaims too).

WesleyWilliam!!!!

(William is the name of Wesley's friend, they kiss and hug each other very tightly under the weird looks of the students).

William: My God, is that you?

Wesley: Yes, in the flesh. Wait, how did you know it was me, you're a wizard now?

(Laughs).

William: no, I recognized your voice right away.

Wesley: I'm glad to know that, I've missed you so much brother, so much.

William: I've missed you too so much you can't even imagine.

Wesley: Good to see you again my friend.

William: I too Wesley, I am overwhelmed with joy that I want to cry. Tell me how are your parents?

Wesley: Are they fine by the grace of God and holding them?

William: They are doing well too. Oh my God, I thought I would never see you again.

Wesley: Nothing is impossible with God my friend, he allowed my father to be assigned to this area again.

William: you mean you live here with your parents?

Wesley: No, I live alone here in our house, they are assigned to the BOOM department.

William: It's great, we can work every day at your place.

Wesley: Exactly.

William: We're getting closer to the hour, let's go to the auditorium.

(They go to the auditorium).

William: I thank the Lord, I feel that this year, I will have my baccalaureate with a very good or good honors.

Wesley: Why do you say that?

William: how come why I say that, I have my geni with me this year.

(Laughs).

Wesley: Thank you my friend, but I'm not a geni, I invest myself a lot in the work that's all.

William (your comic): oh stop that, you think I don't work hard what? You are always like that, always modest.

Wesley (smile): No my friend, it's not modesty, it's humility.

William: Me in any case, if I am told that I am a genius, I will be extremely proud of it.

Wesley: It's true that I'm proud my brother, very proud besides, but I simply avoid bragging.

William: yes you're right, it's all you.

(In the meantime, they were already seated in the auditorium and other students are also already there. However, at this very moment, a car stops in front of the school and a girl who is splendid, magnificent, radiant and all the beautiful words you want to get out of the car. Shaped like a dream and of an unimaginable, incomparable and legendary beauty, she walks like a princess under the admirable and envious gaze of the students heading towards the auditorium, some students even losing their way looking at her.

It's about the beautiful Ashley, she was perfect, if she has flaws, it will surely be inside not outside. She hasn't arrived at the auditorium yet when the bell rings and all the students rush to enter. The solemn home ceremony has begun, and after that, all the students go home to return tomorrow for the start of classes. Along the way, Wesley and his friend are talking).

William: tell me Wesley, in this high school where you were, are there any beautiful girls?

Wesley: Everywhere there are beautiful girls my friend.

William: and then, did you take at least one?

Wesley: No, you know I'm not interested in those love stories.

William: So you've never been in love before?

Wesley: No never, I don't even know how this thing is.

William: don't worry, the day it's ok happen to you, you will know for yourself.

Wesley: It's still weird, you know, the first day that I arrived there, nobody was interested in me, no girl was calculating me but then when I was first in term 1, I was became everyone's friend and there are even girls who make advances to me and I understood that romantic or even friendly relationships are often based on an interest, except ours of course.

William: You may be right, but true love is not based on an interest but on the interconnection between hearts.

Wesley: Yeah maybe, I don't know.

William (laughs): but tell me, how did you react to the advances of the girls?

Wesley: How could I react, it is a phenomenon which is unknown to me. I simply told them that if they want my help, I'm ready to help them but that they leave their love story there and that's how it was.

(Laughs).

William: you Wesley, you don't know yet

love, you will never stop surprising me and making me laugh. But know that love is wonderful.

Wesley: Have you ever been in love?

William: yes, I met a girl last year, I fell in love and I started and here we are together.

Wesley: how is love, can you explain?

William: no, it's something that even science can't explain, one day you'll be in love and then you'll understand.

Wesley: Okay, and love at first sight, that can't be explained too?

William: yes but, I don't really know how to explain it to you. In fact, when you see the person for the first time and then you have... you have the impression that your heart was going to be cut, what, you... well, I don't know too much.

Wesley: OK, by the way, what's your girlfriend's name?

William: her name is Sofia, here is her photo.

(William hands his phone to Wesley).

Wesley: Wow, she's very beautiful.

William: yes, she's a very beautiful girl, she's in 2nd grade at Chartier high school.

Wesley: do you really like him?

William: yes I love it.

Wesley: How did you meet?

William: once at home, I'll tell you, you and I, we have a lot to talk about.

Wesley: Yes... By the way, we've almost arrived at the house, the discussion has shortened the distance, it seems.

(Wesley and William arrive at his house, Wesley prepared a good meal which they ate together while discussing everything and nothing. They stayed until the evening and Wesley accompanied William to his house to say hello and greet his parents before returning home).

To be continued....

I was finally brought back to the billionaire Vance estate after years in the grimy foster system, but the luxury Lincoln felt more like a funeral procession. My biological family didn't welcome me with open arms; they looked at me like a stain on a silk shirt. They thought I was a "defective" mute with cognitive delays, a spare part to be traded away. Within hours of my arrival, my father decided to sell me to Julian Thorne, a bitter, paralyzed heir, just to secure a corporate merger. My sister Tiffany treated me like trash, whispering for me to "go back to the gutter" before pouring red wine over my dress in front of Manhattan's elite. When a drunk cousin tried to lay hands on me at the engagement gala, my grandmother didn't protect me-she raised her silver-topped cane to strike my face for "embarrassing the family." They called me a sacrificial lamb, laughing as they signed the prenuptial agreement that stripped me of my freedom. They had no idea I was E-11, the underground hacker-artist the world was obsessed with, or that I had already breached their private servers. I found the hidden medical records-blood types A, A, and B-a biological impossibility that proved my "parents" were harboring a scandal that could ruin them. Why bring me back just to discard me again? And why was Julian Thorne, the man supposedly bound to a wheelchair, secretly running miles at dawn on his private estate? Standing in the middle of the ballroom, I didn't plead for mercy. I used a text-to-speech app to broadcast a cold, synthetic threat: "I have the records, Richard. Do you want me to explain genetics to the press, or should we leave quietly?" With the "paralyzed" billionaire as my unexpected accomplice, I walked out of the Vance house and into a much more dangerous game.

For four years, I traced the bullet scar on Chace’s chest, believing it was proof he would bleed to keep me safe. On our anniversary, he told me to wear white because "tonight changes everything." I walked into the gala thinking I was getting a ring. Instead, I stood frozen in the center of the ballroom, drowning in silk, watching him slide his mother's sapphire onto another woman's finger. Karyn Warren. The daughter of a rival family. When I begged him with my eyes to claim me, to save me from the public humiliation, he didn't flinch. He just leaned toward his Underboss, his voice amplified by the silence. "Karyn is for power. Ember is for pleasure. Don't confuse the assets." My heart didn't just break; it incinerated. He expected me to stay as his mistress, threatening to dig up my dead mother’s grave if I refused to play the obedient pet. He thought I was trapped. He thought I had nowhere to go because of my father’s massive gambling debts. He was wrong. With shaking hands, I pulled out my phone and texted the one name I was never supposed to use. Keith Mosley. The Don. The monster under Chace's bed. *I am invoking the Blood Oath. My father’s debt. I am ready to pay it.* His reply came three seconds later, buzzing against my palm like a warning. *The price is marriage. You belong to me. Yes or No?* I looked up at Chace, who was laughing with his new fiancée, thinking he owned me. I looked down and typed three letters. *Yes.*
