Five decades ago...
Snowflakes fall silently from the sky unbothered about the riot happening in the middle of the day on a cold Tuesday. The cold slits the whole kingdom sending harsh winds against survivors who are trying to take refuge through the thick snowy forest.
*pheeeeeew BOOM!*
"TAKE COVER IN THE WOODS! TAKE COVER IN THE WOODS!" A random person from the scattered crowd shouts to all the survivors. He doesn't want them running to their deaths in fear. "TAKE COVER! TAK-"
*phhheeeeew BOOOM!'
A huge explosion rocks the path he warned the survivors not to go, some who didn't listen end up splitting from the explosions while those who survived avoided that path. The remaining survivors immediately start to follow the man and he leads them safely outside the kingdom walls into a vacant cave many miles from the disaster they once called home.
A few lucky people already occupied the cave when they arrived. The man tells them to make camp and rest for a while then he will think about how to free them permanently from the kingdom territory. They all thanked him with praises for thinking of saving them even when they all ran into danger. The man didn't take all the praises because he was only doing his job, but showed gratitude to them.
When he was sure everyone was safe and the caves were guarded up he reveals himself to the people, the reactions he got was expected. He wasn't anything anyone imagined, he wasn't a man as they thought, it was a woman holding something covered in cloth and when she reveals it people were shocked.
"I thought you were a man!" A male survivor exclaimed in anger.
"Me too!" Another survivor exclaims.
"You tricked us!" Two women rose their voices to share their anger.
"I didn't trick you." She replies calmly.
"Then why did you respond when we called you a man?" Another challenged.
"Is it wrong that I saved you from the outside world?" She ask but they didn't remember her good deeds other than their anger.
"You call this saving? We are all hiding, waiting if they will find us to slaughter!"
"You just sold us out!" Someone exclaims from the crowd.
"We won't be slaughtered as long as we remain in the caves. I will figure out a way for us to leave just be patient."
"Be patient? How do we become patient if we do not know what are you hiding inside that cloth?" A woman confronts her and the others agree.
Instead of answering she lets them see for themselves, to know she isn't pulling them to a trap. And behold when they all gather to see they saw a beautiful baby girl asleep in the woman's hands. It turns out she was trying to save the baby's life by risking her own life for the child and everyone.
"A baby?" They all exclaim
"Why do you have a baby? Is she yours?" A man asks.
"If she wasn't mine won't I have looked for the mother already?" She ask and they were all silent except for a few who didn't respect her deeds and tries taunting her.
"She lies, why will she come here and how does she know there is a cave outside the forest?"
"She helped us so far why can't we have faith in her? If she wanted us dead to save herself we won't be here talking." A reasonable person finally speaks from the angry mob.
"She is right." One person soon agrees.
"We agree." A few more people agrees.
"Let's not let this become a bloody riot. I want us to make peace with our choices." The woman who agrees suggests.
"Let's hear it."
"If you want to live and get out of here alive, you will have to listen to her, and please if you cannot cope exit the caves, go find another shelter because we won't entertain hate while we are together." This unknown lady interprets from the savior.
The savior then identifies herself as Rosy Dell and she will help them get out of the caves if they all corporate. Rosy wrap her baby in a made-up carrier and leads the cooperative people with her while the others go the other way leading out of the caves.
Unfortunately at the end of the cave, two people began to attack one another giving out their whereabouts to the terrorist. Rosy could not save them because she had a mission to look after, the baby in her arms. Reluctantly she leaves them behind hearing the screams of death inflicted by the terrorist and...
.
Rosalind jolts up from the bed feeling sick from the nightmare that recently haunts her. She worries about why they occurred recently and nothing has happened since then. Rosalind thinks she might need to see AX for answers if this keeps on happening. For the safety and protection of the light of Null she will have to endure this world.
"Mommy?"
Rosalind was startled by her daughter calling for her, she looks at the doorway seeing little Diana in her fairy night gown. She refuses to sleep alone in her bedroom most nights and walks into Rosa's room for comfort.
"What is it baby?" Rosalind stretches her hand for Diana to take which she gladly accepts and hops on the bed.
"I can't sleep." Diana confesses.
"Why baby, don't you like your new room?"
"I do, but I want to sleep beside you and daddy." Diana insists, just like every other night since her third birthday
Rosa sighs but can't refuse the young girl's request.
"Okay, you can stay here with us tonight, alright?"
"Yay!" Diana squealed and jumped noisily on the bed waking her father.
"What-- what-- what's going on? It's two in the morning." Her father yawns tiredly beside them.
"Diana can't sleep." Rosalind fills in for their daughter.
"Really? Baby girl why can't you sleep?" He asked trying to stay awake.
"I am scared." Diana admits and he sighs.
"Why are you scared?"
"I don't know."
Rosalind watches both father and daughter converse, she hoped her husband is able to make Diana feel better because she acted like this all the time and it worries her a lot.
"Big girls aren't scared of anything, aren't you my side kick?" He hails.
"Yes I am." Diana replies cheerfully.
"Then I don't want you to be scared anymore. I am your hero and as your hero I won't let anything happen to you, okay?" He promised.
"Yes. Can I stay here?"
"I am your hero, of course you can." Diana hugs her mother and her father wraps his long thick arms around them and they all fell into a peaceful sleep.
