"All right, you agreed amber!"

I've been annoying this Zanaih before. How come my classmate called me then, inviting me to join our reunion. What I said is that I will think about it because I'm not sure if I'll be busy later. Besides, I only went there for a few months, why would they invite me?

It's been a month since I came home to the Philippines again. At first I really didn't want to go here but now I am here again in the country I hate to go to because of the painful things that happened to me here.

"I'll even think about it" I stared at him and then continuously changed clothes.

Stacy and zanaih and I are the only three in my room, so there is no malice if I change my clothes here.

"Why don't you go?" Stacy asked me curiously, her forehead already furrowed. "Don't you say you still can't move on with him?" He asked again.

"I said I'll think about it, I didn't say I wouldn't go. And I've been moving on for a long time" I replied irritably to him.

Ever since my classmates called me then, they have started yelling and asking me questions. Because they knew that my ex was my classmate then so they started asking if I would come.

Well, for me I really don't want to go because I'll see him again. I'm not bitter, besides I already moved on but I don't want to see him, not now that I'm already healed.

"So you're coming? Sure, huh?" It's as if someone blew up thousands of dollars because of Zanaih's very sad face.

"What? 'When did I say I was coming?" I asked, curiously.

"You didn't say you weren't coming so it means you're coming" he said celebrating.

I stopped arguing and just focused on choosing a nice dress. Our reunion was later so I took a shower and cleaned myself up.

I only wore a white dress, my make -up wasn't too thick, that's right. I only have half a bun and it heals black.

"Oh sis, I told you, when you see him, don't talk to him. Let him talk to you first, okay? Goodluck" stacy ordered as she pushed me out of the room.

I thought they were going to send me away because they weren't doing anything, so I was the one they were planning to ruin.

My trip took half an hour, there was traffic on my way so I took a long time.

There are only a few people here so there isn't much noise yet. I was about to open my bag when someone suddenly bumped me. I looked at it irritably but I was so shocked when I saw who it was.

The person who ruined my life.

The person who hurt and made me feel like I was worthless. That I am not worthy of love.

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.
