He's promised to come back a changed person and he indeed, came back changed. We can't fathom if our prayers were answered or not.
Chapter 1 Blissful times
Father, do you love me? Eight-year-old Anna asked her father. Mr. Benson, her father, surprised, answered; "Of course Anna, I love you so much". Anna gave him a genuine smile before cutting her birthday cake, she fed him some, fed her mother, let Andrew, her brother take a huge share, and last the rest for her friends. It was her birthday and as her father's favorite child she was given a beautiful cake.
Mr. Benson shared a special bond with Anna apart from the father-daughter bond. He was her best friend. She loved him more than anything in the world, he taught her how to walk, eat, play, write, and did almost everything with her. He cherished her and she cherished him too.
While curled up in her father's arms later she asked again "Would you stay with me forever, papa?" Mr. Benson carried her in his arms and fed her some cake before replying with a smile on his face" Baby you know daddy can't stay forever, he'll eventually go to heaven and stay with God" But promise me you'd stay till God calls you" "I promise, okay... it's time to play with your friends" Anna kissed him and ran out of the living room to join her friends that were already playing.
Turning to his wife, he said, "She's growing up, I wish I never fail her" "I believe in you, you won't, you'll always be a wonderful father" she assured. Taking her in his arms he walked to their bedroom.
