I WAITED FOR YOU SO,WHY DON'T YOU LOOK AT ME

The Hayes family is one of the successful family in Berkart country and they are also acquainted with the royal family so,there family is always treated with respect in the country.

Inside the Hayes mansion everywhere could be seen bustling with cheers of people and the joyous mood could not be mistaken because it's the family's princess birthday. The house garden is filled with decor and colorful designs signifying a youthful grace. The waiters was seen busy moving around and serving the arrived guests and Mrs Hayes could also be seen inspecting things.

"Wow Mrs Hayes this party is really amazing I like the decor"one of the guest of the party complimented and others ladies flocked to their sides and Mrs Hayes felt happy.

"I also like the decor too can you please share your planner contact with us"she says and the ladies shares a short laugh.

"Actually since it's our princess first birthday I didn't really need a planner because I was more excited to throw her a party so me and and my mother-in-law put our blood,tears and sweat in it and the results is this amazing decor"Mrs Hayes explained and the woman exchanges look before they burst into a fake laugh.

"Wow that's amazing I am sure your princess will be very pleased with the decor"a woman with thick makeup and tight fitting dress says and Mrs Hayes excused herself from the group of women.

"It must be really great to be a wife of a successful family that even my husband advises me to be good with more like bootlicking"the woman with thick makeup says and the other lady joined in.

"She is just a woman in her late 20's but she already has everything working well for her"another woman snorted.

"I know right she doesn't have to worry about contract bidding since her family call the shot"one of the woman says

"She is beautiful she comes from a good family now she is also got married to a good family"another woman says and the other women joined in and it's not that long for the women to get themselves busy with gossips.

"Judy I don't think I can ever get used to those women fake acts of kindness"Mrs Hayes complained when she gets inside the decorated mansion.

"You know you don't have to tolerate them if you don't want to"Judy the housekeeper advises her boss.

"No it's fine it's not like they are asking for my head or something"Mrs Hayes joked.

"Judy have you served the new visitors because..."Mrs Hayes was saying but she got cut off.

"Ma'am everything will be fine stop worrying yourself and relax and if you think you can just go upstairs to accompany the princess".

"Ok maybe I will take that option but please when the George family gets here send for me ,okay"Mrs Hayes instructed Judy before she went upstairs.

Walking to the second floor I can hear my mother-in-law playing with my daughter and I got amazed by how she never gets tired of playing with her all day.

"My baby Pearl did you like Grandma that much"I say entering into the Pearl's room that we decorated in a all pink styles.

"Ma...ma"my daughter called happily when she saw me.

"I think she wants to eat"Grandma says handing Pearl to me and I sighted Jason sitting uprightly looking at her sister.

"Jason why are you so quiet"I asked my 9 years old son.

"It's because my baby sister is so cute"Jason says and I can't deny that because it's very rare to give birth to a girl with a blue eye.

"Did your husband tells you what he is planning to do"Grandma asked me after I feeding Pearl and putting her to sleep.

"Yes I was against it but he says that's he only way we can be save"I say sighing.

"I don't know why they are all just so greedy"my mother-in-law says and I just sighed.

"Ma'am the George are here"Judy says hurrying inside the room.

"And I think it's your time to bootlick"my mother-in-law teases and I laughs.

We all went out to receive the George and I also carry the sleeping Pearl with me.

"Welcome to the party"I heard my husband Donald welcoming the George family and I could see most of the guest at the party is already thinking of how to bootlick to the George and I think that's how the high society works.

"I am sorry I should have received you it's just that I went upstairs to feed Pearl"I say exchanging pleasantries with the George family.

"Wow is this Bryan?"I asked and Mrs George nodded.

"Bryan say Hi to uncle and auntie"his mother instructed.

"Hi"he says looking bored and I decided to not mention it.

"Judy where is Jason?"I asked Judy and he told me that he went to play with the other kids.

"Ohhh that's nice Bryan you should also go and join the other kid"I suggested and that seems to be a bad Idea.

"No I am fine because I don't think I can stay with kids that all they could think of is games it's already bad enough I have to be faced with too much colours"he says eyeing the garden decor and I cast a glance at my husband but he avoided my eyes.

"Bryan is quite the comedian right"Mrs George says bursting into laughs and I followed suit.

After exchanging pleasantries with the George the program started and the guests used that time to suck up to the George because it's not everyday you see them at a party and my baby is already awake so,we started the gift presentation and I could say I didn't do an actual good job because my settings are quite lacking.

"This is for our little princess"Mr George says handing over a gift box and know one can tell what exactly is inside but we all know it's going to be expensive because the gift wrapper is also expensive. Mrs George also presented hers which is a jewelry box and I could sees that she puts her soul to it.

"Bryan won't you give Pearl a gift"his mother urges and the people at the party looked at the stern young master of the George family.

"I actually didn't prepare any gift but you can tell her that I will make sure to give her stocks when she grow up,she can consider that as a promise"the little boy say with an aura of arrogance and the little Pearl looked at the boy with her cute little eyes and a of the people present looked at the little boy in awe.

"Ahh ahhh"Pearl's father Donald laughs and the rest of the people joins.

"He is definitely dependable Mr George I think I can trust him"Donald says and Mr George Bryan's father's nodded in agreement.

When it was the time for the celebrant to cut the cake Jason quickly joins her sister to cut he cake but Bryan was also fits in despite his tantrums and Jason eyed the arrogant young master but Bryan doesn't care.

"So we're going to cut the cake now make sure you give your best smile"the photographer says but I think it's only the little Pearl that understood the assignment because she was smiling with all her teeth while Jason and Bryan was glaring at each other.

After the cake cutting and pictures taking Donald Hayes collected the mic.

"Good evening guys I wanted to thank everyone for coming for my daughter's birthday".

"I am so happy today because I am not only celebrating my daughter's birthday but I am also celebrate the coming together of Hayes and George family"Donald says and that throw the whole guests into jeopardy and they all looked at him with questions that only him could answer.

"I am planning to be part of George family by giving my daughter to them, that means Hayes and George family are in-laws"Donald announced and the guest could already sum up the rest story and they get sad because how could two of the powerful family in Berkart come together by marriage.

"Mom did I just get entangled with a one year old baby"Bryan asked since he is already a smart boy so,he understands what is going on.

"Don't say that she is actually cute I am sure you will grow up to like her"Bryan's mother says.

"Or maybe not"Bryan mutters.....

In just one night the fate of two people are entangled but are they going to follow the path the parents paved or they are going to make theirs.....
