Diana stood before the Court of Blood. She stood strong and bold as the Blood Brothers looked at her with strong distaste. “You have failed your people and you have failed the Royal blood which flows in your veins. You have created an abomination and you will today suffer the consequences” The Blood Brothers said in unison.
Diana stood unfazed. She knew what she had done and she was not sorry. She was not sorry that she followed her heart, she was not sorry for wanting happiness.
The Court of Blood was a spacious Underground Arena, circular in shape and dimly lit. Magic built the place and magic maintains it. The Court of blood is the highest court for judgment in the werewolf world and they are charged with power to judge all, not excluding the royals.
Over the years they had changed from the court of pure judgment to a court for self-interests. They have no care for others but themselves, yet they pretend like they are rule and law defenders.
Diana was a Royal. But she knew that there was something dark in her, an impurity. The prophecy made by the chief Warlock 10,000LR (Lycanthrope Resurrection) ago confirmed it.
The prophecy stated that “A Royal Lycanthrope will be born with the blood of a demon and will bear forth impurity in the cloaks of an angel”
The prophecy had just come to pass…
“Diana of the Royal Blood of Iris, do you confess your guilt?, do you confess your bad deeds?, will you willingly offer yourself and your abomination to face due Justice?” The blood brothers said in unison.
The blood brothers are made up of seven immortals, having the blood of angels. They have lived for over billions of years if not more. It was rumored that they were there in the 1LR (first resurrection of wolves also known as lycanthrope).
“I will not give my child away, you can take me, but not my child” Diana said.
“Your child is an abomination, it was prophesied. And so are you. Demon blood flows through you like acid; it will fill you and burn every light or purity in you. But you committed a grave abomination when you decided to meet with Abadon, the fallen angel of vengeance.
A demon’s blood, an angel’s blood and a royal blood in one child?, That child will only be destruction” the blood brothers said in unison.
Diana smirked. Finally she understood everything. “You are afraid” she gasped out, “you are afraid that this child will be more powerful than anything you have ever seen, you are afraid that this child will not be below the Court of Blood, you are afraid that this child might one day destroy you, the same way you destroyed any Royal that refused to be your puppet and let you be their grand master.” She said pointing a finger at the blood brothers and for the first time since she had always knew the blood brothers they looked shaken, but they were able to cover up their fear quickly as not to be noticed, but Diana was the watchful type. Diana laughed. It was a bitter laugh. She was being punished for loving a person and bearing a child. She was been punished for their fears. But she will let it happen, she had no other choice.
“You fear what you don’t understand. I thought that was only applicable to mortals. Wickedness I guess has began to pollute your mortality and you act now with greed like mortals.
I will not give my child for slaughter”, meeting their gazes she said in a tone of finality.
“We will get the child; you know you mind can never lie, and Magneto here is very ready to have a view, a quick look through your mind. We just wanted to give you a chance to pay your last respects to us before you die. But it looks like you are unworthy. Magneto. Go bring the abomination!” they said to a warlock with an extra blue eye at the middle of his head. He uses that magical eye to see through the minds of people and see their pasts. He was black in completion, coal black.
“Too Late” Diana said as she walked to the high steps of the council grounds.
“I am part demon and only a demon can communicate with their fellows.
My daughter, Garnet, will return and she will bring true Justice to you all, she will bring equality between the demons and the wolves and she will be the bridge” Diana Said.
Then she brought forth a dagger with a blue stone design at the top handle. The designs were like the seas and waters.
She stabbed herself with it. There was look on the face of the brothers. It was a look of surprise and horror. Without her, they could never have a chance of finding her daughter.
The dagger seemed to be a magical one, it drew blood from Diana’s wounds and the blood moved unto the crystal stone at the top of the dagger and as it filled up, a light emitted from the crystal.
“Do you know one thing about water?” she asked faintly to know one in particular as she held her wounded stomach, “What hidden in the waters can never be found” she answered her question.
Falling on the floor blood began pouring out of her mouth as she said her last word with a struggle, “Long Live the Bridge of Peace”.
The brothers gasped, as Diana’s body shone a bright blue light as the royal dead do and then turned to ashes just like the demons….
