Are we meant to be

You know, when I moved abroad with my father it wasn’t what I wanted. He took me away from all that I knew and loved, my step mother was alright in the beginning but turned out to be a spiteful Witch because I was “another woman’s daughter”, we never got along and I never really liked her. In my small 5 years of life I couldn’t come to fathom what real love was. Simply because I was never shown it by who I really needed to be shown love by. Kiera my step mother wanted me to call her my “mother” but I didn’t see her as that and I said “ you’re not my mother”.

But the biggest heartbreak was yet to come and I didn’t know it. I had move from Portugal to Ireland and it wasn’t what I expected but I was happy to know I would go back every summer, there I met Fred my stepmothers godson he was my age as we got to know each other every summer we grew fonder and fonder of each other as a child I never paid much attention to him because he was a boy and boys were annoying, he wouldn’t leave me alone! Always chasing me and calling for me.
