Chapter 1 The witch's cottage

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a princess named Atinuke who lived in a tall, towering castle. Every day, the princess would sit by her window and look out at the vast, sprawling forest that surrounded her castle. She longed to explore the enchanted woods, but her parents had forbidden her to do so, fearing that she might get lost or hurt. One day, while the princess was gazing out her window, she saw a mysterious figure darting between the trees. Curious, the princess followed the figure deeper and deeper into the forest.

As the princess followed the mysterious figure, the trees became thicker and denser, until finally, she found herself in a clearing. There, in the center of the clearing, was a small cottage. The princess knocked on the door, and an elderly woman answered. "Hello, dear," the woman said. "What brings you to my cottage?

The old woman invited the princess into her cottage and offered her a cup of tea. As the princess sipped her tea, she noticed a large book on the table. Curious, she opened the book and saw that it was a book of spells. The princess gasped and asked the old woman if she was a witch.

"I am indeed a witch," the old woman replied. "But don't be afraid. I mean you no harm."
