Me and my friend Bella were drúgged and used for money ritual by an unknown guy that i just met in the media apps. I was invited to a strange guy's house who introduced himself to be Caleb of Dickson's diary. I was not interested in visiting his house at first but since the last time we met in the popular eatery, he promised to give me the sum of 2 million with a condition - that i can only get the money if i visit him at home. I was very scared of visiting Caleb alone but i needed the money badly. So i invited my friend, Bella, and told her everything about the money and Caleb, she accepted the idea and volunteered to come with me to Caleb's house. We later searched and singled out Caleb's house with the help of the G apps. His house was located in a lonely area, but it was a very big mansion that worth more than the net worth of our entire village. Me and Bella matched into the building. Caleb was very surprised to see Bella with me. He expected me to come over alone but why would someone like me take such a risk of visiting a stranger like him alone? He looked very harmless the last time we met in the eatery but i need more time to trust myself around him. I noticed he wasn't comfortable with Bella around me. I settled the misunderstanding and introduced Bella as my best friend and coursemate to Caleb, they exchanged greetings and everything moved on smoothly again. I felt some relief around me, at least everything was playing along with our beat. We had a seat on the soft sofa, pretending to be familiar with everything in the house but to be sincere, our heart was loaded with wow expressions. Caleb ordered one of his male house help, to get us something to drink. He beckoned and left the sitting room. We engaged ourselves in different conversations from one topic to another, it was more than fun. Few minutes the house help returned with a diamond-made tray, and some glasses filled with red wine. He permitted us to feel at home. I smiled and took a glass, same with Bella, we took a sip and continued with the conversation. After taking in some quantity of it, i felt dizzy. "Caleb can i get the money, i need to leave before it's too late." i managed and asked him for the money. "Sure, give me some second lemme get the money." He said and walked out of the room. I turned around and saw Bella sleeping on the sofa, it appeared to me that the wine was drúgged. Be!! Bella!! She didn't respond I stood up and struggled to move outside the house but ended up on the cold floor because of the drink. I struggled with my dying eyes from closing but lastly, they ended up closing, my eyes captured Caleb waving goodbye at me with a knife in his hand.
Chapter 1 CALEB'S TRAP
Before i slept off in Caleb's house i saw him waving goodbye at me with a knîfe in his hand.
After few minutes of unexpected sleep in Caleb's house i opened my dying eyes, it was filled with sleep. I fought the fillings and opened them wide.
The first thing i set my eyes on was the room's white ceiling, i took a breath at least i was still alive, i felt some pain from different parts of my body. I hope nothing bad happened while i was sleeping.
I remember i saw Caleb with a knîfe before i slept off in his seating room and this particular room differ from the seating room that i slept off earlier.
I shivered as i recalled that Bella was in the same situation as me. I tried putting up my body, my hand were held in two different directions same with my legs.
My body was spread on a flat rock.
I studied the rock carefully, it has some tinny spaces running from the center and moved round. the were connected to different holes.
the holes appear to be a skéletal héad just waiting for permission to open its mouth.
I studied the environment again, it was not the same house i saw when i opened my eyes. Maybe I was still under the influence of drûgs. The environment looked like a cave but it wasn't. Dry bones were placed in different directions.
I struggled to break free from the lock but my hands and legs were properly locked.
"Bella!! Bella!! Bella." I hollered but my voice only echoed in the room.
"Caleb!! Caleb!! Caleb!!" I called out sadly.
"If you're there please I'm sorry just let me and my friend go, i will never set foot in your house again, ever." I broke down in téars as I called out for Caleb's attention.
There was no answer.
I regret ever falling for Caleb's trap so easily.
I closed my eyes for some seconds and opened them immediately i heard the humming sound echoes in the room.
I was unable to identify where the sound came from.
My nose perceived the odor of burning incense.
Within some seconds everywhere was smelling incense.
"Who's there?" I asked with a shivering tone.
I saw some men with black cloaks walked into the room from an unknown opening. Their faces covered with balaclavas.
Their hands were crossed beside them. Their movement were horrible to me but on a normal day, i will call it creativity.
They took their position around. My body was circled by them, there was a space left for the circle to complete.
"Please I'm sorry don't kîll me." I cry out sadly but no one gives me a listening ear.
Someone familiar walked into the room. It was Caleb, his mouth was dripping blóòd, he held a knife in his right hand while his left hand was covered with blóòd.
Caleb walked into the strange room with a blóòd dropping from his mouth and a sharp knîfe in his right hand.
I was scáred when i set my eyes on him, the blóòd on his mouth got me terrified. As he took his move elegantly with the black cloak that he wore made him more scary to me.
the blóòd in his hand dropped on the floor.
The knîfe glittered. I can't believe my eyes that I'm seeing Caleb who invited me to his house holding a knîfe with a blóòd in his mouth.
Why blóòd in his hand and mouth?
He positioned himself in the gap left to complete the circle.
"Caleb!! Caleb!! What're you doing?" I asked with a terrified tone. There was no answer, his silence was so powerful that my heart beat faster than ever.
His eyeballs were covered with pure darkness.
One of them dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out a solid white substance and sprinkled it on me.
The second person did the same, that's how the process kept going around. They stopped and hummed some creépy sound.
The room shakes as they keep on humming
The crazy sound danced into my ear, this alone made me shiver.
Caleb brought out his tongue and licked the blóòd that escaped his mouth, he spared me a creepy smile that nearly pulled out my spirit.
"It's time Caleb." One of the men in a black cloak murmured with a heavy voice.
"It's time." The other members chorused
"Caleb please don't kîll me!! "
"Caleb please don't kill me!!" I begged for my life.
He pretended not to hear my outcry.
He used his left finger which was covered with blóòd to draw a symbol on my forehead.
Spoke some incantation.
The men in the circle held each other's hand and chorused to every word he said.
I was very scared of them. I can't fîght for myself. I don't even know if Bella is okay or not.
He stopped the incantation and bowed his head, repeating it three times.
He placed the knîfe on my forehead and moved it slowly down to my neck.
I gulped very hard as the knîfe touched my néck. He moves it to my chest and lifts it from my chést into the air.
"Caleb!!" I screamed as he lift the knîfe.
"Caleb don't do this to me," I begged
He lowered down the knîfe to my chést at a very high speed.
Caleb lowered down the knîfe in his hand at a very high speed to the direction of my chest.
Caleb ,No!!" I screamed.
He stábbed me in the chest blóòd pushout from my mouth and splashed on his face.
He applied some pressure to the knîfe, it break deeper into my chest.
Another set of blóòd pour out from my mouth.
The blóòd from my body was filled up the lines on the rock which my body was laid on.
it was not flowing fast or slow but just as the blóòd left my body.
I was unable to breathe freely due to the injury in my chest.
my eyes closed slowly as my breath was leaving my body. Caleb stared at me as my eyes were closing.
Finally, Caleb had successfully ended my life without giving me the 2 million he promised.
I was more than a fôôl to fall for his trap, i will never forget this particular day in a hurry. But now, i have to pay for my own mistake the hard way.
I grow weak as blóòd keeps on leaving my body through my înjured chest. After Some seconds of struggling to stay awake i was unable to control my eyes i gave up myself to eternal sleep.
I opened my eyes again after some minutes, i was shôck to see myself still alive, I remember i was stábbed to dead by Caleb.
How come I'm still alive? was i dreaming the entire time?
I satup from the floor, the environment was different from the real world, there was a welcoming signpost, that said 'Take Care Of Yourself'. I gulped and looked down on my chést, the wound was still there, I didn't understand what's going on with me but i still remember i was stábbed to deád by Caleb.
I stood up from the floor very scared and confused, the environment was very dim. It made it very difficult for one to see the environment clearly
I walked past the gate, cause that's the only where i could get all the answers i wanted.
It was very lonely inside the gate.
I took some steps forward if I could see anybody to ask for help.
I stopped when i felt my feet wet, i looked down I was inside something that looked like water but it wasn't.
"Master that's the lady we're looking for," a voice uttered.
I was scared cause i knew the statement were directly referred to me.
I looked hard and saw someone with a sword pointing his hand at me.
