Dear, Juvia Chapter 1 Frustrations

The music was loud in a space filled with colorful lights. The boys and girls dress extremely sexy and seductive. They just remained immersed in the background music. This is the city's big bar, of course, places like that are very complicated. But we can't equate everyone, some people come here because they're happy, and others come here because they're sad, so they come here to borrow alcohol to ease their sadness.

Juvia Melyon sighed, not knowing whether she was happy or sad, she looked at the glass of wine in her hand. She doesn't have the energy to think about dancing to this ear-catching music right now. My head is filled with the tiring things of life. She felt that life was very unfair to her, and she couldn't even decide on important matters in her life.

- Mom and Dad... do you two not love me anymore?

- Would you like to drink with me?

A deep, masculine voice rang out over the loud, loud music. Juvia raised her eyes and laughed at the man in front of her. She blinked, clinked her glass, and took a large gulp. Wine to her now is like water, no matter how much she drinks, she doesn't feel the spicy taste, only the aftertaste of enjoyment remains.

- Doctor Kelvin, what are you doing here? Shouldn't doctors be in the hospital?

- Doctors can't come here?

Juvia shook her head to show that she didn't know anything and then drank the glass of wine in her hand again. Kelvin raised his hand to stop her and sighed. This look of hers was so terrible, it only made his eyes itchy.

- What's wrong with you? Are you planning on drinking until your liver and kidneys are damaged?

- It's not that bad, I only drink once in a while... heh...

- Seriously, what's wrong with you?

- What's wrong with you? There's nothing wrong with it. If there's a chance, I'll go ask his dead best friend's name! I'm going crazy about him.

- Best friend? Do you mean Drake Belson?

She nodded, staggered, stood up, said goodbye to Kelvin, and left. Kelvin didn't have time to understand what was going on, he could only silently look after her.

- Hey, where are you going? Wait for me to pay!

As soon as she stepped out of the bar, Juvia was pulled back by an arm. The man had a black body, his eyes were as cold as ice looking at her. This person did not greet me politely, his voice was serious and cold.

- Who let you go to such places?

- Does it have anything to do with you? Whatever I do is my business.

- Irrelevant? So I remind you, we're getting married next week!

The alcohol in her body wasn't enough to make Juvia forget. She looked up at the man with disgusted eyes, not at all afraid but innocently asking back.

- So what? Isn't next week about next week? Now I'm still single, it's my business to do whatever I want. Do you understand?

Drake smirked, without saying many words, he directly picked her up, making her scream majestically. As she was about to walk to the car, another male voice rang out. Kelvin stepped out and grabbed his arm to stop him.

- Are you planning on doing something immoral?

- What's your story? She will eventually become my wife.

- I'll officially be your wife next week. If you're like that now, you might even go to jail for rape!

Drake exhaled, not caring about his best friend's nonsense. But looking down at his arms, Juvia has been sleeping soundly ever since. Her breathing was even and he couldn't help but smile slightly.

- This is my story, if you go to prison, my young master Luc will know how to get out himself.

- I'm just afraid of losing a close friend.

Drake glanced at Kelvin and then carried her to the car. Letting her into the co-pilot's seat, he sped back to his private villa. Putting the little girl down on the bed, Drake couldn't help but shake his head. Standing up and stepping out onto the balcony, he called Juvia's family to inform her that she was with him. I don't want both families to worry because of these small things.

Next week the two will officially get married, so knowing that she is with him will make Mr. and Mrs. Co extremely satisfied. Stepping inside, he smiled softly looking at the girl who was making a mess. The arms and legs move up and down, causing the soft mosquito net to wrinkle. Moving to pinch her nose gently, he gave a warning.

- If you bother my bed again, I will immediately throw you to the ground.

Juvia doesn't care about what he says now. She burped and waved her arms in all directions. Drake shook his head slightly and walked downstairs. Even if he lost, he couldn't throw her to the ground.

-Mrs. Mary, take over for her. Have some hangover water ready for her to drink for me.

- Yes.

- Just take any of my loose shirts for her to wear. Someone will bring her things tomorrow morning.

Mrs. Mary obediently went up to change her clothes. Drake crossed his legs on the sofa and scrolled through his phone a bit. Wait until Mrs. Mary walked down before going upstairs. Seeing her sleeping so soundly made him feel relieved. It's just those long, slender legs under the white shirt that make him feel so uncomfortable.

- Let me stay intact until the end of this week.

Suppressing himself, he walked over to the sofa and lay down. I'm just afraid that if I sleep in bed, I'll be beaten to death tomorrow morning. Stop eating bitter food for a week and you'll get it all back.

Drake tossed and turned all night, unable to sleep. He lay on the sofa, his eyes only looking towards Juvia who was sleeping soundly. Thinking about his upcoming marriage, Drake doesn't know whether to be happy or sad. After all, this journey is also because of Grandpa John. He wanted him and her to become husband and wife, only then would Belson's Company be transferred to his name.

I went to the New York City Clerk's office to handle a simple administrative matter, but the woman behind the glass handed me a nightmare instead. It was a certified marriage license from Clark County, Nevada, filed exactly three months ago. My vision blurred as I read the name in the spouse field: Baxter Noel. I was legally married to the ruthless billionaire whose legal team was currently suing me for intellectual property theft and trying to destroy my career. I remembered the conference in Las Vegas and a drink that tasted far too sweet, followed by a twelve-hour black hole in my memory that I had chalked up to exhaustion. When I sought help at my family's estate, my stepmother and sister didn't offer comfort; they stole my passport, shredded my clothes, and framed me for academic plagiarism to strip away my university fellowship. Even Baxter himself looked me in the eye with cold indifference, claiming he didn't know me and promising to have me arrested for fraud if I ever showed him that document again. Within twenty-four hours, I was homeless, jobless, and being hunted by the most powerful man in the city. I couldn't understand why a man who "eats people for breakfast" would be caught in the same trap as a struggling scientist like me. The confusion turned to pure terror when I looked at the witness signature on the license: Gene Mcclain. My mother, who was supposed to have died in a car crash ten years ago, had signed that paper with a fresh, trembling hand only ninety days ago. "I am holding a grenade, and I have no idea when the pin was pulled." Standing in the biting November wind with nothing but a laptop and a marriage license, I realized I was just a pawn in a much deadlier game. I stopped running and began to fight back, determined to use my unwanted status as the billionaire's wife to uncover the truth about the mother who came back from the dead.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.
