Chapter 1

"Lucky? Is that you?"

The girl turned back when someone called her name. The expression on her face brightened when she saw that it was Adriane. One of the popular girls at the university she attended, and the ex-girlfriend of his best friend, Genesis. the girl still hasn't changed, she's still very beautiful. She heard that Adriane is married and has two children, but even so the woman is still very sexy.

"Lucky, you are!" she came to her with a sweet smile on her lips, but she couldn't hide her disdainful look at her. It is not hidden from Lucky's knowledge that the woman does not like her, she is often the cause of arguments between her and her ex-boyfriend. because the woman is jealous of her even though she shouldn't be.

Together, the woman turned to the man who came. His eyes rolled when he saw that it was Genesis. Great! here is the favorite womans of the masses, she just wants to disappear and continue shopping, she really shouldn't have included Genesis here, he's a glutton for women.

"Genesis! Oh my gosh! Is that you? You're even more handsome. I'm proud to have given you my womanhood..."

She winced at what Adriane said. she wanted to throw up because of her pride in something that shouldn't be especially since they were in a public place. It also has no shame in her body. this is what she dislikes the most about Genesis's woman, she has too many attributes even though her friend is only flavor of the month.

Lucky she turned her gaze to Genesis who was smiling and talking to his ex-girlfriend.

she shook her head. A different class. can't really get over his womanizing at any time, it looks like he's planning to taste the old drink again. God! There is still a plan to become a fixture!

"You haven't changed, I really wish you were my husband. Because this Mark, I told him we used protection, that I'm still pregnant." The man laughed, obviously enjoying what Adriane was saying. Lucky couldn't paint his face anymore. How long? is he going to talk to his ex? Can he just leave? the amount he has not put in the cart yet.

"Gin," She called the man. The two turned to her as if she had forgotten that she existed in the world.

"Oh, Lucky... I almost forgot, you're there." Adriane said jokingly. But Lucky knew this woman better. It's teasing. "Genesis." It clings to the man's arm. "Why are you too together? Is she your girlfriend now?" Adriane ask to Genesis.

"Huh? Lucky? Of course, not!" Genesis laughed. "That will never ever happen." The friend came to her and walked. "You know this Lucky is my best friend. I'll hit any girl, but not my best friend."

Adriane laughed mockingly. "I knew it! After all, sexy people like me are your type." She stood next to Genesis and anchored his hand on the man's arm again. Lucky distanced herself from the two. she has lost the desire to go grocery shopping, she better leave them. She might suddenly slap in front of her, ew!

"Adrian..." They all turned to the man who arrived, pushing a stroller. "I've been looking for you for a while, you're just here." It looked at Genesis badly. Lucky guessed it was Mark, the man was familiar to her but she couldn't say where she saw him specifically. Maybe her schoolmate in collage.

"Come on, let's go home," he said to Adriane. Lucky looked down at the child in the stroller. She's adorable.

"Just a moment, Mark, Genesis and I are still talking," the woman replied irritated. Mark's face can't be painted. Lucky approached the man.

"How old is she?" she asked and sat on her own feet. she is happy, because the baby is cute, too bad the mother looks irresponsible, flirting comes first.

"She's two."

"What's her name?"

"Belle..."

"Her name is cute too."

"Married?" asked Mark. No trace of cynicism. Lucky shook her head in response. "Single...mom?" this is a difficult question.

"Do I look like I have a child?" she asked jokingly and grabbed the small hand of the child sleeping in the stroller.

"Not at all. You're always as bad as Genesis. I'm not implying anything bad..."

Lucky laughed. she didn't need to explain, she understood where it was coming from. Genesis was a well-known boy in their university back then, and the two of them were almost inseparable, except when it was time to milk her fling partners. it's impossible not to think that people who know them have a monkey business with their best friend. She's used to thinking that he's Genesis' f*ckbuddy, so she's not affected anymore. Because it's not true, and it's very impossible for that thing to happen.

"Don't worry. I understand where you are coming from. This is not new to me, but take it in stone, we really have no monkey business with that man. That one will never hit me, with my looks?" Lucky laughed. Mark smiled at her. she sat like her so they both looked at Belle.

"I'm not sure what you mean by what you said. But if you think that you're not pretty, you're wrong." Mark looked at her, eyes tinged with sadness. "Lucky, you're the most beautiful girl I've ever met. maybe you don't remember, but I was one of those who used to give you love letters."

Lucky frowned. Love letters? "Mark, I don't have–"

"Lucky, let's go." Mark and Lucky both looked up at Ginesis standing behind them.

"Mark, I'm not getting any—"

"Lucky! i said, let's go." Genesis raised his eyebrows when he said that. His eyes searched for Adriane, maybe something happened between the two but the woman also seemed to be wondering what was happening. Mark suddenly approached them.

"We have to go." Lucky was about to protest to his friend but Genesis pulled her arm so she stood up. "Sorry, but we need to go, Mark. Just talk to you next time," Genesis said and pulled her away from the couple, pushing their cart.

Lucky looked at Mark. The man smiled at her. Love letters? she still wanted to talk to him, she wanted to ask the man a lot. Because she doesn't receive anything like that. Actually, she never received any letters or gifts from men, except for her family and Genesis.

"You're rude," she said to his friend when they were both inside his car.

"Rude? Where is the rudeness there?"

"Mark and I are even talking. He is saying something about love letters, he is said to be one of the ones who gives me love letters. Do you know anything about what he is saying?"

"Maybe you're just flirting with that one?" He shrugged his shoulders and maneuvered the car.

Lucky puffed out her cheeks. Is Mark really just flattering her? That one looked as serious as what he said. but it's impossible because she's not pretty like those famous girls in their university. But she really couldn't help but be curious, based on what Mark said he was one of those who used to give her love letters. Does that mean many men send? but she doesn't receive even one. Weird…

"Belle is cute, have you seen their baby?" Lucky opens a new topic. she won't gain anything if they keep talking about what Mark said. it doesn't seem real and his friend doesn't seem interested in talking about it either.

"Yeah, cute."

Lucky frowned at his friend's cold answer. "Why are you like that every time I talk about babies?"

"I already know what's next. I want one." he mimicked his voice.

"I don't talk like that, ah!"

Genesis tsked. "What's the point of wanting to have children if you're afraid of sex?"

"You know you're really trippy. There's nothing wrong with dreaming about having children."

"Nothing, if you're normal."

"Are you going?" she threw the wet tissue she was holding at the man. she was cleaning her hands with it while they were talking.

"You disgusting thing! Don't turn my car into a trash can!"

"Hey! Take care of that if you don't want me to gamble with you," she threatened, showing her fist. Crazy, he was challenged. Maybe he thought he couldn't break a skull.

"Are you still not telling Aunt and Uncle about your condition?" suddenly he seriously asked her, looking only at the road. Lucky couldn't answer so Genesis let out a deep sigh. "You've been keeping your condition a secret from them for ten years. When do you plan to tell them?"

He clenched her fist. "I do not know..."

"You need to tell them, Luck. Your parents are teasing you, right? How can you get married if you're afraid of sex? That's the first thing couples do after marriage."

"You are not the one to decide for me, Gin. Don't understand my problem. You? Don't your parents want you to settle down?" Lucky heard his friend's deep sigh.

"What are you up to? You're too girly to stick with a girl." Genesis glared at her, but she immediately turned her eyes back to the road. "Why? it's true, isn't it? You can't be satisfied with one, you want to leave your woman. Thank you! I really don't understand why a scumbag like you is my friend."

Her eyes rolled. she knew Genesis didn't like children, but she didn't really think that at his age now, the man wouldn't really consider settling down and building his own family. It looks like it's really content to be a jerk.

"Even so, Gin. there is still a possibility that you can get pregnant especially if your sex life is active. Thank you! I'm really impressed when a woman settles down with a man like you, she's probably the stupidest woman in the world."

"Hey! Will you stop? it's not because I'm a woman that I don't have the rights to have a proper and normal relationship." He continued. He seemed really sullen at what she said. She laughed and poked the man in the side, surprising him.

"I'm driving!"

"Hey, it's like you don't do extracurricular activities while driving." She refers to the story that Genesis told her when they gave him a blowjob of a fling while driving.

"Shut up!" His friend scolded her embarrassingly. she giggled but didn't make any more of the man. she sat up and let out a deep sigh.

"I really want a child, Gin."

"Then find a man that will marry you and give you a child, and please..." The man looked at her but immediately turned his eyes back to the road. "Stop giving me that look. There's no other way, Luck. You will not have children, you will not have sex."

"Actually, Maya told me something." She tilted her seat to face her friend. "Do you know your IUI?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Gin, of course! because I really want a baby."

"If your life won't be in danger, sure. Do what you want, it's your life. There's nothing I can do but support you."

"I don't want to be your sperm donor."
