Unfortunately, one day her grandmother died and Aluna was not accepted by her parents. They handed Aluna over to the Elbara family. Who would have thought that Aluna's grandmother and Elbara's grandmother had made an agreement beforehand, namely to match their grandchildren. Aluna's new life begins here, living in Elbara's house as her fiancé. "Don't touch anything that belongs to me in this house!" "Have you forgotten who I am? The more you forbid and give rules, the more enthusiastic I am to break them!"

Chapter 1 Late

"Open the gate, sir."

The school security guard, wearing a dark blue uniform with the name tag Parman, paid no attention to the words of the students who had been standing nearby for five minutes. He just glanced at it then did his other work. All the students had gathered in the field in preparation for the flag ceremony on Monday, while the female student was stuck outside the school gate because ten minutes ago the gate had been closed tightly by the parman.

There was no expression of panic, fear or worry on the girl's face. He always looked relaxed as this wasn't the first time he was late. Who knows how many times, it's clear that Parman is used to this sight.

"How should I answer you, Neng? I've said repeatedly, the door has to be closed when it's exactly seven o'clock and now it's ten minutes past seven," said Parman. The girl sighed. He looked at his watch and then showed it to Parman, "Look here, sir. My time is still exactly seven o'clock."

"Then Luna's hours will be adjusted to school hours, so that you won't be late again. I've been saying this since a year ago," said Parman.

The girl named Brisha Aluna smiled at Parman. He always uses the excuse that the time on his watch is slower and he hasn't had it repaired since a year ago.

"Come on, sir. I'm only five minutes late, let me in," Aluna whined.

"Sorry Miss. I was ordered by the new student council president to close the gate at exactly seven o'clock, he will be here to follow up on students who are late," answered Parman.

"New student council president?"

"Where have you been, Miss Luna? Didn't there just be an election for student council president and the winner has already been determined? She's taking office starting today. Didn't Miss Luna take part during the election?" askParman.

Aluna smiled at Parman. He didn't care about the student council president election and such. He also didn't want to take part in the election and preferred to sleep in class.

"Oh, I was sleeping during the election, sir. I stayed up late last night. I was sleepy this morning," said Aluna casually.

Parman just shook his head then sighed. He already knew how Aluna behaved at school. A brave girl who often causes small disturbances at school. She often breaks school rules, even the previous guidance counselor and student council president were tired of dealing with Aluna and let her do as she pleased, as long as it didn't interfere with the teaching and learning process at school.

"Miss Luna, wait here, later the new student council president will follow up with Miss Luna, I'm just carrying out orders."

"It's complicated, sir. Even though Yoga isn't that complicated. He let me in even though I was ten minutes late," said Aluna. "That's why just leave it alone, Mas Bara looks like he's going to be firm," answered Parman.

"Bara? So the student council president is Bara. Which person is Bara? Oh, wait a minute." Aluna thought.

"Is that the top child who is smart and popular? Isn't he quiet? Ah, he seems as easy to trick as Yoga," thought Aluna.

Aluna whistled and smiled happily. There was no visible look of fear or worry at all. He is a student who is too relaxed, even too relaxed.

On Mondays, students usually choose to avoid being late because there will be a ceremony. If you are late, the punishment will definitely be more varied and physically related. Meanwhile, Aluna doesn't care about the day, for her it's the same, if she's late and gets punished, just do it. The girl really didn't want to be complicated.

Aluna is bored. He walked towards Parman's security post. The post is just a small room for resting and storing items needed by a school security guard.

"Mr Parman, why isn't Bara here yet?Really, sir?" asked Aluna while looking towards the security guard's room.

"Just wait. Why is Neng Luna so relaxed, even though you are late, you will be punished," said Parman.

"Mr Parman doesn't seem to know me. We've been together for more than a year, Mr Parman should know my behavior by heart," joked Aluna.

"Until you stare, Neng."

Aluna laughed. He took the mint candy he had put in his pocket and put it in his mouth. After that, he turned around.

Aluna was a little surprised to see a man standing in front of her. He saw that the name on his shirt was written as Elbara Akbar Himawan.

"Did you startle me on purpose?" Aluna looked at the man in front of her a little annoyed. He stood straight in front of Bara casually.

"I've been standing behind you since earlier,"Bara answered.

Aluna looked at Bara lazily. Judging from where Bara looks, he looks cool, handsome and dignified. Physically, he is fit to be a leader. Unfortunately, Aluna is not like most other female students. They really idolize popular students like Bara.

"I heard everything you said to Mr. Parman," said Bara firmly.

"So?"

"My name is not Batu Bara, but Bara," said Bara.

Aluna sighed. He did say that. But he was just joking, it shouldn't be a problem.

"So?" said Aluna while crossing her arms and eating candy.

Bara took one step forward to be closer to Aluna's body. Bara's gaze was sharp and piercing, making other people's guts shrink, but not Aluna. He actually opposed Bara by looking at him flatly."I've seen the record of violations you've committed for more than a year."

"So?" Aluna interrupted Bara's words.

"Throw the candy in your mouth!" Bara's order.

"Do not want!"

"Dissident!" said Bara.

"Indeed. So?"

Bara took another step forward until his body was closer to Aluna. The girl still stood where she was without fear, nervousness and so on.

"Throw it away or?"

"Or what? Why do you keep ordering?" Aluna again interrupted Bara's words.

"Throw away the candy now or I'll throw it away!" Bara snapped.

"I don't want to! It's just candy, why do you care? After all, it's my mouth that eats it!" Aluna said a little loudly.

Bara held back his emotions. He was silent looked seriously at Aluna. Just like the news he often heard, Aluna was a brave student and was not afraid of the student council or teachers. Aluna and Bara are in different classes. Aluna is in social studies class and Bara is in science class. They don't know each other and have never spoken to each other.

So far, Bara only studied and didn't really care about activities outside the classroom. He was an excellent student and obeyed the rules. His achievements and good attitude made him chosen as the student who was predicted to replace Yoga as chairman of the OSIS. Initially, Bara refused on the grounds that he didn't want to be complicated and just focus on studying, but due to pressure from the teacher, OSIS members and his friends, Bara finally agreed to become a candidate for OSIS chairman to compete with Farel.

"If you can't throw it away yourself, I'll throw it away," said Bara again, even though he had previously said this sentence.

"Is that possible? It's already in my mouth," said Aluna casually.

"I'll force it! If my hands can't do it, I willand...use your mouth," said Bara.

Aluna stopped the movement of the candy in her mouth. He looked into Bara's eyes. The man looked very serious about what he said, especially when he stepped forward and closed the distance between them.

"Crazy!"

Aluna stepped back then threw the candy in her mouth into the trash.

"Come with me in!" Bara's order.

Aluna looked annoyed at the back of the man named Bara. Annoyed, he followed Bara's footsteps into the school area.

"Not as expected, the student council president is more annoying than Yoga!" new

"Tsk!"

"Mr Yoga is tired of dealing with Miss Luna,

For seventeen years, I was the crown jewel of the Kensington empire, the perfect daughter groomed for a royal future. Then, a cream-colored envelope landed in my lap, bearing a gold crest and a truth that turned my world into ice. The DNA test result was a cold, hard zero percent-I wasn't a Kensington. Before the ink could even dry, my parents invited my replacement, a girl named Alleen, into the drawing room and treated me like a trespasser in my own home. My mother, who once hosted galas in my honor, wouldn't even look me in the eye as she stroked Alleen's arm, whispering that she was finally "safe." My father handed me a one-million-dollar check-a mere tip for a billionaire-and told me to leave immediately to avoid tanking the company's stock price. "You're a thief! You lived my life, you spent my money, and you don't get to keep the loot!" Alleen shrieked, trying to claw the designer jacket off my shoulders while my "parents" watched with clinical detachment. I was dumped on a gritty sidewalk in Queens with nothing but three trunks and the address of a struggling laborer I was now supposed to call "Dad." I traded a marble mansion for a crumbling walk-up where the air smelled of exhaust and my new bedroom was a literal storage closet. My biological family thought I was a broken princess, and the Kensingtons thought they had successfully erased me with a payoff and a non-disclosure agreement. They had no idea that while I was hauling trunks up four flights of stairs, my secret media empire was already preparing to move against them. As I sat on a thin mattress in the dark, I opened my encrypted laptop and sent a single command that would cost my former father ten million dollars by breakfast. They thought they were throwing me to the wolves, but they forgot one thing: I'm the one who leads the pack.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.

One Night With My Billionaire Boss

I woke up on silk sheets that smelled of expensive cedar and cold sandalwood, a world away from my cramped apartment in Brooklyn. Beside me lay Ezra Gardner—my boss, the billionaire CEO of Gardner Holdings, and the man who could end my career with a snap of his fingers. He didn’t offer an apology for the night before; instead, he looked at me with terrifying clarity and proposed a cold, calculated business arrangement. "Marriage. It stabilizes the board and solves the PR crisis before it begins." He dressed me in archival Chanel and sent me home in his Maybach, but my life was already falling apart. My boyfriend, Irving, claimed he had passed out early, yet his location data placed him at my best friend’s apartment until three in the morning. When I tried to run, I realized Ezra was already ten steps ahead, tracking my movements and uncovering the secret I’d spent twenty years hiding: my connection to the powerful Senator Grimes. I was trapped between a CEO who treated me like a line item on a quarterly report and a boyfriend who had been using me while sleeping with my closest friend. I felt like a pawn in a game I didn't understand, wondering why a man like Ezra would walk up forty flights of stairs on a broken leg just to make sure I was safe. "Showtime, Mrs. Gardner." Standing on the red carpet in a gown that cost more than my life, I watched my cheating ex-boyfriend’s face turn pale as Ezra claimed me in front of the world. I wasn't just an assistant anymore; I was a weapon, and it was time to burn their world down.
