As the daughter of the Alpha of the Black Moon Pack, Agatha was not respected within the pack. She wondered why Alpha and Luna had taken a fancy to her sister and treated her badly. One day, while on patrol along the border, she felt a tear in her heart and went home to rest. When she opened the door, she saw her mate and her sister, Vera in bed. How the next?

Chapter 1 One

Agatha's POV

"What are you doing!"

Maybe you could say this is the worst day that ever happened in my life. What I see now is something I never expected before. My partner, Gerard, was with Vera, my sister, in our bed.

"Agatha!" Gerard got up and tried to approach me. "I--."

I stopped Gerard's sentence, and I pointed at him and Vera, who didn't look guilty at all. "Shut up! My eyes are not blind, and I don't want to hear your excuses! You and Vera are nothing but disgusting trash. I will report this to Father!"

I slammed the door hard, letting tears flow down my cheeks. However, after a few moments, Gerard chased me and grabbed my hand.

"Stop it, Agatha!"

"Let go of me, Gerard! What more do you want? Do you want to forbid me from complaining about your bad deeds?"

"Yeah, you can't do it, and you never will. Understand? I can explain everything that happened. I--."

Again, I stopped Gerard's sentence. I shook my head as I walked away from him.

"Be patient, Agatha. Be strong. He wasn't the right guy, from the first moment I saw him I was sure that something bad would happen. It's just that I still think positively about The Moon Goddess' plan."

I ignored my wolf's words for a moment. Pipe, I don't know how strong I must be to face this. I feel like my life is horrible and unfair. Vera has always been the destroyer of my happiness for a long time.

My father was sitting with my mother in the backyard when I arrived before them. And as usual, their gazes always implied that I was a nuisance. I can see how my mother rolled her eyes while sipping the drink in her hand.

"What is it? Why did you come with a cry that made your face even more unattractive, Agatha?" my mom asked.

I swallowed my saliva and grabbed the hem of my shirt. I took a deep breath and said. "Vera! Vera caused all this! She tricked Gerard into sleeping with her. I just saw them naked and doing disgusting things!"

My father smiled a crooked smile. Somehow, I felt something was wrong. He then stood up and shouted for Vera and Gerard, his voice filling the mansion. I wasn't sure they would punish Vera. I know how sweet they treated Vera, and maybe you could say I was the child who never got affection from them.

Like a gust of wind, Vera and Gerard arrived beside me in the blink of an eye. They compactly use their wolf forms to come. I glanced at Vera, and she smiled while raising her eyebrows as if nothing had happened.

"Yes, Daddy. Why did you call me?" Vera asked in a spoiled, petty tone that always made people melt at her. Disgusting.

I wanted so badly to grab her hair, but I knew if I did, I wouldn't get answers for everything happening.

"My lovely daughter, Vera, I want to ask you something. Why did you do bad things to Agatha? Can't you wait for your partner to come in one year?" My father said it with a firm face, and it was the first time I saw her expression like this.

Should I be happy? I don't know, I can't guess my parents. They've defended Vera so much, I find it hard to believe. But you could say this is a pretty good start.

"Alpha Jeremy, I can explain all of this!" Gerard lunged for defense, but my father put his hand up to Gerard and told him to stay still.

"I don't want to hear excuses from anyone. Vera is the only person who has to answer my questions."

I immediately looked at my little sister and snapped at her. "Quickly say what you want to say, bitch!"

"Agatha! How dare you call your sister such a bad name!"

Of course, my mother immediately stood up for her beloved child. It's nothing new that surprises me. My wounded heart feels like it's bleeding more and more.

"Okay, I'll explain what happened. This is not Gerard's fault, and I did want him to be my partner. I don't want to wait until I'm 18. I've fallen in love with Gerard since he came to this mansion. I'm angry, and I'm jealous when he's making out with Agatha. I hate having to see all that. I want Gerard to be my partner, and I want to be his Luna."

My mounting emotions made me immediately change my form into a wolf and prepare to attack Vera. But what happened next? I was the one who fell. My father shot him back and threw my body quite far from where we stood.

"Why did you do that, Vera? Fucking bitch! You can never touch Gerard!" I screamed until I felt like my neck was going to fall off.

Gerard didn't stay silent. The fool approached me and tried to calm me down. I felt disgusted being touched by him, but I also needed him to make me believe that Vera would not affect anything in our relationship.

"Your actions were foolish, Agatha. Why do you want to attack your sister? You are truly disgraceful!" The slap landed perfectly on my face. My father's hand was so light as to give a spicy taste to my cheek.

I raised my head, and I didn't want to stop fighting all this yet. "I'm just fighting for the only happiness I have, Dad! I'm not Vera. You always give something beautiful, and I'm not more like an omega in this pack! Gerard is my biggest wish for a different life."

"Yes, but life is cruel, Agatha. I saw what happened and want you to turn Gerard over to Vera. Gerard is a powerful young Alpha, and Vera is one of the best female members in our pack. My vision is to advance this pack to remain at the top. Two great people who unite will bring this pack even more great in the future."

I shook my head, looking at Gerard with the hope that he would put up a fight. But, of course, this disgusting life wasn't on my side. Gerard even gave up when Vera approached him and embraced his hand tenderly.

I sat down weakly when I saw them leave me. Why? Why did Gerard have the heart to do this to me? Where are the promises of love that he always said since we were 16?

"Face your reality, Agatha. We know what's best for you. Admit it, Vera deserves Gerard. Surely you don't want to feel the burden of being a Luna from a great alpha like Gerard, do you? Are you good at war? No, right? After all, we have prepared you for a suitable partner."

I turned my gaze to my parents, looking at me flatly. I can't digest their words. All I know is that today is the day of the ruin of my life.

For seventeen years, I was the pride of the Carlisle family, the perfect daughter destined to inherit an empire. But that life ended the moment a DNA report slid across my father’s mahogany desk. The paper proved I was a stranger. Vanessa, the girl sobbing in the corner, was the real biological daughter they had been searching for. "You need to leave. Tonight. Before the press gets wind of this. Before the stock prices dip." My father’s voice was as cold as flint. My mother wouldn't even look at me, staring out the window at the gardens as if I were already a ghost. Just like that, I was erased. I left behind the Birkin bags and the diamonds, throwing my Centurion Card into a crystal bowl with a clatter that echoed like a gunshot. I walked out into the cold night and climbed into a rusted Ford Taurus driven by a man I had never met—my biological father. I went from a mansion to a fourth-floor walk-up in Queens that smelled of laundry detergent and struggle. My new siblings looked at me with a mix of fear and disgust, waiting for the "fallen princess" to break. They expected me to beg for my old life back, to crumble without the luxury I’d known since birth. But they didn't know the truth. I had spent years training in a shark tank, honing survival skills they couldn't imagine. While Richard Carlisle froze my trust funds to starve me out, my net worth was climbing by millions on an encrypted trading app. They thought they were throwing me to the wolves. They didn't realize they were just letting me off my leash. As the Carlisles prepared to debut Vanessa at the Manhattan Arts Gala, I was already making my move. "Get dressed. We're going to a party."

I died on a Tuesday. It wasn't a quick death. It was slow, cold, and meticulously planned by the man who called himself my father. I was twenty years old. He needed my kidney to save my sister. The spare part for the golden child. I remember the blinding lights of the operating theater, the sterile smell of betrayal, and the phantom pain of a surgeon's scalpel carving into my flesh while my screams echoed unheard. I remember looking through the observation glass and seeing him-my father, Giovanni Vitiello, the Don of the Chicago Outfit-watching me die with the same detached expression he used when signing a death warrant. He chose her. He always chose her. And then, I woke up. Not in heaven. Not in hell. But in my own bed, a year before my scheduled execution. My body was whole, unscarred. The timeline had reset, a glitch in the cruel matrix of my existence, giving me a second chance I never asked for. This time, when my father handed me a one-way ticket to London-an exile disguised as a severance package-I didn't cry. I didn't beg. My heart, once a bleeding wound, was now a block of ice. He didn't know he was talking to a ghost. He didn't know I had already lived through his ultimate betrayal. He also didn't know that six months ago, during the city's brutal territory wars, I was the one who saved his most valuable asset. In a secret safe house, I stitched up the wounds of a blinded soldier, a man whose life hung by a thread. He never saw my face. He only knew my voice, the scent of vanilla, and the steady touch of my hands. He called me Sette. Seven. For the seven stitches I put in his shoulder. That man was Dante Moretti. The Ruthless Capo. The man my sister, Isabella, is now set to marry. She stole my story. She claimed my actions, my voice, my scent. And Dante, the man who could spot a lie from a mile away, believed the beautiful deception because he wanted it to be true. He wanted the golden girl to be his savior, not the invisible sister who was only ever good for her spare parts. So I took the ticket. In my past life, I fought them, and they silenced me on an operating table. This time, I will let them have their perfect, gilded lie. I will go to London. I will disappear. I will let Seraphina Vitiello die on that plane. But I will not be a victim. This time, I will not be the lamb led to slaughter. This time, from the shadows of my exile, I will be the one holding the match. And I will wait, with the patience of the dead, to watch their entire world burn. Because a ghost has nothing to lose, and a queen of ashes has an empire to gain.

I was finally brought back to the billionaire Vance estate after years in the grimy foster system, but the luxury Lincoln felt more like a funeral procession. My biological family didn't welcome me with open arms; they looked at me like a stain on a silk shirt. They thought I was a "defective" mute with cognitive delays, a spare part to be traded away. Within hours of my arrival, my father decided to sell me to Julian Thorne, a bitter, paralyzed heir, just to secure a corporate merger. My sister Tiffany treated me like trash, whispering for me to "go back to the gutter" before pouring red wine over my dress in front of Manhattan's elite. When a drunk cousin tried to lay hands on me at the engagement gala, my grandmother didn't protect me-she raised her silver-topped cane to strike my face for "embarrassing the family." They called me a sacrificial lamb, laughing as they signed the prenuptial agreement that stripped me of my freedom. They had no idea I was E-11, the underground hacker-artist the world was obsessed with, or that I had already breached their private servers. I found the hidden medical records-blood types A, A, and B-a biological impossibility that proved my "parents" were harboring a scandal that could ruin them. Why bring me back just to discard me again? And why was Julian Thorne, the man supposedly bound to a wheelchair, secretly running miles at dawn on his private estate? Standing in the middle of the ballroom, I didn't plead for mercy. I used a text-to-speech app to broadcast a cold, synthetic threat: "I have the records, Richard. Do you want me to explain genetics to the press, or should we leave quietly?" With the "paralyzed" billionaire as my unexpected accomplice, I walked out of the Vance house and into a much more dangerous game.
