Chapter 1 Book 1

In the medieval kingdom of Eldoria, Princess Amelia was known for her beauty and bravery. Her father, King Alaric, was a ruthless ruler who sought power at any cost. When Amelia came of age, he arranged a marriage for her with a powerful vampire king, Count Edwin, in exchange for an alliance that would strengthen his kingdom.

Amelia was horrified at the prospect of marrying a creature of the night, but she had no choice but to obey her father's command. Amelia was patient, she planned every move with details, made sure she was a good wife and did all she could to stay alive. For King Edwin feeds his preys, fatten them up then draws blood from them with his machine.

All the wives of King Edwin knows they will be gone soon hence they spend each day wisely. Anger the king you would be the next on his seat of needles. These needles sucks you dry and stores your gore as nutrition for him to feast on.

For months Amelia lived in the castle. She started a rebellion which mostly consisted of the wives of the king. They secretly trained but were no much for the king who was three times faster and stronger. Amelia therefore expanded her rebellion seeking help from vampires who were against the king. Amelia willingly gave up her human nature turning into the thing she was bound to kill.

Only the wives of the king can seek his audience whenever and no wife was willing to go through the pain of transformation, Amelia knew that she had sealed her fate that night as she sprinkled her husband's super with silver dust to weaken him and hid a silver dagger. The happy unsuspecting king gladly drank half a bottle of the thick red liquid. It didn't take long for the side effects to show then she quickly struck him in the chest.

There was no struggle, Amelia wasn't hurt, but her first kill got her a little shaken. She had played his death so many times in her head. It always felt good and right but that was all in her head. She sees the blood on her hand that isn't hers she wants to scream but she knows no one will listen. What is done is done and even though it feels wrong, she knows it's right.

Few weeks pass and she has now taken over the throne. The news of her victory spreads like sound waves. She feeds on those who betray and are against her. Then she declared war against her father. With cunning strategy and fierce determination, Amelia led her forces to victory after victory, slowly but surely weakening her father's hold on the land.

But victory came at a cost. In a brutal battle for the capital city, Amelia is faced off against her own brother, Prince Alke, who is torn between his loyalty to his father and the love he has for his sister. In the heat of the moment, Amelia

made a difficult decision. With bloodlust in her eyes, Amelia struck him down without hesitation.

As the dust settled and the kingdom lay in ruins, Amelia stood amidst the carnage, haunted by the faces of those she had lost. The weight of her actions bore down upon her, and she wept silently for the brother she had slain in the name of vengeance.

In the end, Amelia realized that the price of power was too high. She had lost herself in the process of seeking justice. Nevertheless she was too far down to go back to the girl she used to be. The once timid girl now carried the burden of regret, a reminder of the cost of war and the sacrifices made in the pursuit of justice. She ruled both kingdoms each day, hoping she doesn't become the king who she called her father or the man she got married to.
