"Back to Sender" follows Dr. Emily Williams, a brilliant scientist who gets accidentally transported to a desolate wasteland due to a flaw in her revolutionary Quantum Delivery System. Determined and resourceful, she must find a way to send a message back home for rescue, navigating the perils of the unknown to survive.

Chapter 1 Unintended Consequences

In a bustling city, renowned scientist Dr. Emily Williams was on the brink of a groundbreaking discovery. Late one evening, she toiled away in her lab, finalizing the latest version of her revolutionary invention, the Quantum Delivery System (QDS). It promised to revolutionize transportation, capable of instantly sending any object across vast distances.

Driven by her ambition, Emily decided to test the QDS prototype on herself. Stepping onto the platform, filled with both excitement and trepidation, she initiated the transfer process. In an instant, she vanished from her lab, the world around her blending into a blur of colors.

When Emily opened her eyes, she found herself standing in an unfamiliar place. Confused, she quickly realized something had gone terribly wrong. She had not arrived at her intended destination. Instead, she found herself in a desolate wasteland, far away from civilization.

Panicking, Emily frantically tried to recall the QDS's blueprints. She quickly realized that in her eagerness to test it on herself, she had overlooked a crucial flaw in the system—its inability to correctly calculate the destination coordinates. Trapped in this barren landscape, she had no means of returning back home.

Determined not to succumb to despair, Emily resolved to find a solution. She scavenged for supplies and set up a makeshift camp, utilizing her scientific expertise and resourcefulness. Days turned into weeks as she endlessly brainstormed, desperately seeking a way to send a signal back home to her lab.

Eventually, a breakthrough came to her. With limited resources, Emily devised a rudimentary communication device using scrap metal and salvaged electronic components. She knew she needed to alert her team about the flaw and get their help to bring her home.

With trembling hands, she activated the prototype and sent a distress signal—back to sender. As the message rode the invisible currents of the fractured dimension, Emily prayed that her team would receive it and understand the urgency of her situation.
