Moraine Summers seemed to be married to a man who didn't exist. She went through everything alone: marriage registration, pregnancy, the birth of her son... The first sentence Trenton Brady had ever said to her was asking her for a divorce. It only took a few minutes for Moraine to leave everything about the Brady family behind, including her feelings for Trenton. Fortunately, she could leave with her son together...

Chapter 2 Chapter 1 Moving out

"Let's get a divorce."

After getting married for five years and having a 4-year-old child, Moraine Summers never expected that the first sentence Trenton Brady had ever said to her was asking for a divorce.

Trenton was still wearing a military uniform, and his military boots were so spotless that they could reflect her tears. The shining epaulets on his shoulders represented his superior status and coldness. He was extremely calm when he asked for a divorce.

The guards behind Trenton were holding guns and stood silently. Trenton didn't mean to intimidate anyone because, as the youngest major general of the country, his dignity was more oppressive than guards when he wanted to frighten someone. Moraine knew that she was powerless to resist in front of this man.

Trenton seemed even more stern and fierce in his uniform, and his handsome face was still breathtaking. However, when Moraine looked at Trenton's sculptural face, her heartbeat seemed to stop.

"I'll give you four million dollars." Trenton raised his hand, and the guard quickly gave the check to Moraine. Before she could react, she had already taken over the check.

The Brady family was a typical military family, and Trenton was a well-known invincible legend. Everyone had heard of his name, which represented the strength of the entire country. Both the good and the evil had to respect Trenton's fame with awe.

His glory couldn't be measured by property. Besides, Trenton had never cared about how much money he owned. In fact, four million dollars were all the money he earned after serving as a major general for five years.

Moraine heard Trenton's voice ring out again. "You're moving out tonight."

"What about Harry?" Moraine raised her head hastily.

Moraine wasn't the extremely charming type of woman, but her beauty was just right. Her fair skin was spotless, and her tiny face was gentle and beautiful. Her light brown eyes were clear as a lake, and she didn't need jewelry or makeup to make her delicate.

However, in Trenton's eyes, there was no difference between Moraine and a fairly clean sofa.

Trenton paused for a second, and Moraine smiled wryly. "Our child..."

Trenton couldn't even remember his son's nickname, even though Moraine had used this name for five years.

"He's my son. He has to stay with my family." Trenton frowned, which was his first expression of the day.

Moraine's eyes instantly went red, and her trembling gaze suddenly froze.

"Pack up your stuff. Rumble will send you away, and someone will send you the divorce certificate later." Trenton thought the conversation was over, so he stood up and walked away without turning back.

He married Moraine because of a one-night stand. Five years ago, he was not as meticulous, cold, and impeccable as now. He was tricked by his enemy and slept with this innocent yet unfamiliar woman.

It was just a one-time thing. It should be a rather annoying accident, but Moraine was actually pregnant.

Trenton's grandfather had always hated Patricia Normandy, so he forced Trenton to marry Moraine by threatening Trenton. Old Mr. Brady said, "You will gradually get along well. Patricia is the only woman you've ever liked. How could you be so certain that you won't like other women? Besides, she's already pregnant."

Trenton had no feelings for Moraine at all. Moraine seemed to go through everything alone, including marriage registration and pregnancy. She passed out a few times in pain while giving birth to their child, and when she woke up on the hospital bed, Trenton wasn't there.

After five years of marriage, no one knew that Moraine was Trenton's wife. For Trenton, she was more like a stranger.
