Hilary Mace went to the bar and drank to stupor because she had a bad break up. She slept with the bar model and fled the next day. Two years later, she returned to Kansas city, and discovered that the bar model had risen to absolute power, and was the stepson of her aunt. She gave birth to this man's kids abroad, without him being aware. And they were triplets. How rebellious. Rumor had it that the king pin and absolute monarch didn't have feelings and loved nobody, however, when he went to the office one day, he saw a cute toddler sitting on his desk. He was stunned. ''You look like someone I know,'' the man told the girl. ''You look like my brothers too. You look exactly like them,'' the girl replied. During a TV interview, the man was asked. ''Mr Dwayne, which of these do you love the most. Wealth or Power?'' Of which he replied with charm. ''The power of reproduction.''

Chapter 1 Chapter 1 The Four Packs

"Everything is ready." I looked at myself through the mirror and sighed. My long black and silky hair flowed down my shoulders while my hazel eyes were covered with mascara and eyeliner, and I had a lip gloss on. As for my attire, I wore a black coat. Elegant and comfortable. I was killing two birds with one stone.

Of course, we won’t be forgetting about my crown.

My mother dressed in a long black gown paired with a beautiful gold high-heeled shoe. She wore her hair in a beautiful bun where a golden crown was beautifully placed. She looked nothing but majestic as she stood at the doorframe while staring at me.

I smiled at her and placed my own golden crown. Although it was smaller than hers, it was beautiful.

It was tradition for every female to wear a crown which represent their marital status. Married females had stones in their crown while the rest had nothing. This tradition was to help the single male distinguish who were available to approach.

We didn’t have to wear it at all times. There were only specific occasions where we were required to do so, such as during celebrations or war.

Our land was divided into four. I’m from North and were categorized as Gold. Those from West were black while the South was silver, and the East was Red.

“Time is up. Let's go.” My father looked at me before gazing to my mother.

I took a deep breath.

Tonight, I will meet my enemies. What should I do?

I know. I'm not quite ready.

~Flashback~

As soon as I sat down on the couch, my father said to me, "They think it's best for him to meet everyone in one place."

My father was already 67 years old. He’s 7 feet tall, and still very strong though he already had a head of gray hairs and big hazel eyes like mine.

“Gabriel is twenty-five? More like eighteen… Fits for a Beta…” Odin joked.

Odin was one of the most powerful men in our pack. He had brown hair and a pair of piercing blue eyes. His eyes were captivating to the extent that it’s hard to keep your eyes away from him once you see him.

He’s our Beta and he’s already fifty-two.

If others thought they already knew every next in line for Alpha well enough, I beg to differ.

I have my brother, Mike, who would be the future Alpha after my dad. Like me, he laughed at Odin.

Mike’s already 24 years old. He’s about the same height as his father, had green eyes and brown hair. He did extreme exercise every day, so he was very healthy.

"It starts tomorrow. Be sure to wear black. Gabriel should be the only one in white," My father before he left the room, leaving me alone with Odin and Mike.

The West-Moon Pack invited us to their ceremony for their Alpha’s commencement.

I laughed at him. Most people knew that Gabriel hated me. In all fairness, I hate him too. We studied at the same university four years ago. He's getting old, but he still clung to me like a child. Anyway, we didn’t like each other. That was naked contempt.

However, I also knew that I must attend this meeting. Of the four Alphas, my father was the only one with a daughter, so I had to leave and find my own spot on the corner to avoid him seeing me.

"Mike, the other two Alphas, did they went there with their families?" I asked , making him looked puzzle. Most of the time, it would be Odin or my father whom I would ask about current things.

Suddenly, I spoke to Odin, "I don't think he knows the other packs, that's why he said that." I was just playing with him. Mike and I laughed immediately.

"Enough!" Odin's angry voice rang out, silencing everyone. “I'm the Beta, okay? Be polite to me.”

We all laughed..

“My God, you two are so childish,” Odin commented before he left.

As we ran out of laughter, Mike answered my question. "Little girl, all Alphas and their families have been invited, and they should also attend."

"Mmm." I did not say much, but nodded.

There were four packs in the city. They stood in different positions. We were on the North, so we’re called the northern region. My father, Alpha Bartlett, reigned here.

The West Moon Pack was the pack of the Western region. It was reigned by Alpha David which would soon be reigned by Gabriel after the ceremony.

Meanwhile, East Moon Pack was led by Alpha Bowen, and the South Moon Pack was led by Alpha Vincent.

Generally, the land and packs were divided based on the four directions. At the center of all region reside those gang of rogues.

The packs signed a treaty with the rogues that neither would attack nor harm each other. In the past three years, there had been no big battle.

Because of the upcoming event, I had to leave and find clothes to wear. Mike stalked for a kiss before he turned and walked back to his room.

I rolled my eyes.

~End of Flashback~

"North Moon Pack, we're very happy to see you. Alpha David is waiting for us. He was dressed in a black suit. He’s still looked the same as I saw him four years ago. It's just that his gray eyes were a little more tired, and the gray in his hair was fading away.

After a few pleasantries with people I knew, I took my leave and went out for dinner. To my surprise, Robert, the leader of the gang, came Salma.

My father wasn’t kidding when he said that Alpha David had invited all the alphas. Even the one reigning the middle region attended.

I picked up a glass and drank it up in one breath. I was still thirsty, so I grabbed another one and started eating.

"This guy is too talkative."

Wilson's echoed as he talked with his phone on his ear. He was Gabrielle's closest friend and someone I had a crush on in junior high. It was him whom I want to lost my virginity with.

He's really smart. He has a long and slender legs. Moreover, he had a light brown eye and a shaggy brown hair. He’s a natural model.

Although he was in league with my enemy, he was still very kind to me. However, that was because I once thought that he was the one for me which I was so wrong about.

Nonetheless, we’re still together. Now, I am 20 years old. Whenever I see him, I knew that he’s different.
