Chapter 1 Chapter 1 Divorce

"Let's divorce."

After three years of marriage, the man was taciturn as usual and said these words coldly.

Standing behind Blaine Evans, Vivian Nelsen stared at his back and his stern face reflected in the French windows, and she felt depressed.

Her two hands hanging by the sides silently curled into fists, trembling.

She finally heard the words she was most afraid of.

When the man turned around, his face became clearer. Even after three years, she was still attracted by this handsome face.

"Do we have to?"

Vivian said these words with difficulty, and there was still hope in her eyes.

Blaine frowned, and he looked at the woman's plain face. When he looked into her red eyes, he frowned again.

Even without makeup, Vivian was still good-looking. Her complexion was fair, pure, and flawless.

She looked at him with a pair of clear eyes full of pleading. A tear mole was under the corner of her right eye, and her long black hair hung down her ears, making her look gentle.

But in the eyes of the man, she was a soft and dull woman.

She was a good wife, but he didn't love her.

Three years ago, he had a car accident and became paraplegic at a high position. The doctor said that he might not be able to stand up again. At that time, he was forced to separate from the woman he loved. His mother asked him to find a doctor to take care of him for a lifetime, so he picked out a nurse from among a bunch of admirers, Vivian Miller. She had no background, and she was quiet.

"You have taken care of me for three years. Two million is your compensation."

When the man said this, he was indifferent, and he didn't show the slightest affection for her. "Or, do you want something else..."

"Why?"

This was the first time Vivian interrupted him. There was a hint of persistence in her red eyes. "Why do you have to ask for a divorce now?"

Tomorrow was their third wedding anniversary. She had planned a lot. She even thought that they would be together for a lifetime.

"You know, I don't love you."

The man's cold tone revealed endless indifference, and he didn't leave her even a glimmer of hope. "Sherry is back. I want to marry her."

Vivian seemed to have been slashed in the head by a thunderbolt. Her body couldn't bear it, and she swayed.

She guarded her marriage for three years, but Sherry grabbed it by just saying, "I'm back."

"Mr. Evans..."

The housekeeper hurriedly came over. "Miss Wilson vomited out what she just ate, and she vomited blood."

The man's quiet face showed some worry. He walked around Vivian to the guest room and said, "Prepare the car and go to the hospital."

After a while, Blaine walked out of the guest room with a woman in his arms. The woman was thin and weak, and she was covered with a thin blanket, which was embroidered by Vivian.

Her face was pale and sick, as if she would disappear from this world at any moment. She curled up in Blaine's arms, and her voice was weak. "Blaine. Ms. Miller..."

Blaine stopped at the corner of the stairs. He turned to Vivian and said, "The lawyer will talk to you about the details of the divorce, and please move out of the mansion within three days."

He lifted the woman in his arms up and carried her downstairs without looking back.

Vivian was standing at the stairs while Sherry was lying in Blaine's arms. She looked up at Vivian, and her eyes were full of victory.

Just an hour ago, the sick woman said to her with a smile, "I've come back, so give him back to me."

Until their figures completely disappeared, Vivian slid down as if exhausted, tears streaming down silently. She hugged herself, feeling very cold.

Ten years.

From the moment he rescued her from hell to now, she had paid attention to him silently and loved him for ten years.

But he didn't love her. Even if she was humble, she still couldn't move this man and make him fall in love with her.

"Blaine, this is the last time I cry for you."

Vivian wiped away the tears and stood up from the ground. The originally delicate and fragile woman became cold, and her eyes reflected the light of determination.

It was time to leave.

The divorce agreement was placed on the bedside table in the master bedroom, which was so conspicuous.

Vivian turned directly to the last page and saw the familiar signature. She touched the name "Blaine Evans" carefully and felt upset.

She sniffed and suppressed the tears. She picked up a pen and signed her name on the side: Vivian Miller.

Since it started with this name, it should also end with this name.

Vivian put a seal on the bedside. It took her nearly a year to select the material, buy the jade, and then complete the carving. This was the gift for him on their third anniversary.

She had given him many gifts in the past three years, all of which were meticulously prepared, but in the end, they were left in the closet or thrown into the trash can.

As soon as she walked out of the mansion, a black car stopped by the side of the road. Vivian got into the car and said lightly, "I'm divorced."

In the driver's seat, the man wearing brown sunglasses smiled charmingly. "Congratulations."

He handed the laptop to Vivian. "It's time to be yourself. We are all waiting for your return."
