Being an Alpha from a young age and witnessing the death of his parents and sister makes him cruel and ruthless which makes everyone in the pack feared him including other clans. Chapter 1 He found her
He was out hunting. He knew something was wrong. He knew it wasn't safe for him outside. He could feel it.The last time he came out alone hunting,he was almost killed by the enemies but he need some time to himself .
The thought of finding his mate baffled him. He need to find her before the mating season,he doesn't really need a mate. Does he? He has a mistress who satisfy him anytime but how can he be an Alpha without a mate? He thought as he smoke the rabbit he just hunted. He doesn't really have an appetite,he hunted to pass away time.
He noticed something and he could perceived it, something burning.He saw smoke coming from the nearby village,he tried to listen and sniff the air for any danger. Indeed, there is!. That is one thing about him,after the death of his parent he has been extra careful.
He know when to take action or interfere in other people's business,he can't afford to add to the number of his enemies. He put out the fire and walk silently towards the village. As he near the village a particular scent filled his nostril. His wolf leaped and became curious to find out the owner.
Everywhere in the village has been set on fire,no sound of animal or traces of humans,they have all been killed. Was he late? Who did this? He asked himself. It's a crime in their own world to touch or kill the weaker animal which are the humans,the penalty is death. He hide when he heard a footsteps,he saw them
"The Rogue"he muttered. Hatred filled him up and he fumed.
The Rogues are other creature that kill for their own pleasure.Their king is so desperate that he want all the world for himself.They killed his parent.His sister.And almost killed him,he still had the scar where he was stabbed at the back. His claws grew out and he attacked one silently and killed it .
The more he went further into the village,the stronger the scent becomes.He traced it and stopped at the front of a hut.
"Please don't kill me,I will do anything you want me to do" a voice pleaded The moment he heard the voice,his wolf growled
"Mate!"
He lost control and his wolf took over.Furs covered his body and his fangs grew,he shifted completely in his wolf form and jumped into the hut.He bounced on the creature at the door and plugged out his spinal cord with his sharp claws.
He killed the other two at the other side of the room except the one holding the girl. He didn't think twice before jumping on the creature and ripped out his head but it was already late,she has been stabbed. She cried out and tears streamed down her face, blood gushed out from where she has been stabbed.He shifted back and rushed her in his arms,he stared at her golden eyes and trembled with fear.
"Save me, please, save me" he heard in his head. he looked back but saw no one.she can't mind link him,they haven't mate it's not possible. He thought. He have to do something,he can't let his mate die.Not now. Never. She stared into his eyes and groaned "save me, please" then she passed away. "Hey Wake up,you can't die now"he yelled.
He was confused and don't know what next to do "no,she can't die"he whimpered as he ran towards his pack house carrying her on his shoulder. As he entered his pack house,all those who met him on the way couldn't look at him
"Alpha!!!"they bowed looking shocked. "Has their alpha gone nuts?"they all said among themselves. He carried her to the physicians house in his pack "please save her, she's dying"he pleaded as he lay her on the bed. Aiden,the physician and his childhood friend knew better and didn't ask any question.
"Cover up, you're naked for Pete's sake" He gave him a pair of his cloth. He watched as Aiden tore the cloth around her wound "The cut is so deep"
"So what"The Alpha asked looking bothered
Aiden checked her wound again "The sword missed her vital organ so she will survive. Alpha felt relieved and Aiden gave him a questioning look
"What is it?"Alpha raised his eyebrow
"I've never seen Dylan,the almighty alpha been so worried over a girl before"he chuckled
"She's not just a girl, she's my mate!"He dropped the bombshell
It was Aiden turn to raised his eyebrow "Mate? You found your mate? that's wonderful! Great!"Aiden smiled
"Just shut up and tend to her,I will go clean up"Alpha Dylan said and walked out. "Jerk"Aiden muttered. Aiden and Alpha Dylan are childhood friends,no one knows him better than him.He knows his weakness, everything.He was there when his parent was killed but he stood by him,Dylan became an Alpha at a very young age.He lack love,comfort, manners,no one to teach or correct him but Aiden did the little he can.So he never get angry when he talk rudely,he knew what he has been through. The news has already spread round the pack house about the strange girl Alpha brought to the pack house. Beta Bryan,the second to the alpha ran all the way to the physicians,he met the Alpha closing the door behind him looking worried.
"What happened?who is she?"Beta Bryan asked panting heavily
"Which question do you want me to answer?"Dylan raised his eyebrows "All"
"She's my mate and she's badly wounded by the Rogues"
"The Rogues ?" "They burnt down the village and killed everyone"
"Oh my goodness"Bryan exclaimed "this is a big crime"
"I need to clean up,tell the council to prepare for meeting"Alpha said before walking away
