Throughout the ages, in the vast world, there are three relics: the Immortal Bloodline of Vitalis Mortis, the Heart from the Skies of Aetherios, and another mysterious relic of Cronos - the god of time. A thousand years ago, both of the first two relics went through hundreds of explosive battles between the three realms, and finally, two hundred years ago, the forces of the underworld prevailed, and both the Immortal Bloodline of Vitalis Mortis and the Heart from the Skies fell completely into their hands. The underworld then continued to vigorously search for the remaining relic. Because once all the relics are gathered, this world will belong to them. But for more than two hundred years, until Crystalina was born, only she was bestowed with the ability to control time, although initially, she knew nothing about it. By the time she turned 18, when a catastrophe threatened to destroy the Ancient Citadel of Chrono, Crystalina unexpectedly discovered the hidden power within herself. Beginning a perilous and adventurous journey, she will have to face the pursuit of the underworld and the dangers from both humanity and the celestial realm.

Chapter 1 The Most Beautiful Snowflake In The World

"She is the most beautiful snowflake in the world, the proud princess, the eternal blessing of Eonhaven."

"Intelligent and talented, Crystalina, unparalleled, Crystalina."

The singing echoed across the sky, at the ancient loyal foot, thousands of people gathered densely in the square packed like the grand palace itself, multicolored confetti fluttering in the air, people dancing and celebrating, the enthusiasm rising like a hymn from heaven.

Hundreds of doves soared in the azure sky, blending with the excitement of the people below, flapping their wings gracefully in the sunlight, creating a majestic scene befitting the grandeur of the greatest citadel in the world, Aeternum.

Adjacent to the vast square was the magnificent and resplendent palace, its white pillars as wide as the embrace of ten men, its colossal domes with sharp peaks reaching towards the sky along with hundreds of angelic statues placed above. Chrono Citadel truly lived up to its reputation as the most beautiful palace in the world, a marvel of architectural complexity and sophistication, even its doors were enough to awe with their height equivalent to a tree, elegantly carved and adorned with sparkling gems. Some said that stealing one of those decorative stones could buy a luxurious house.

On the highest floor of the Chrono Citadel, a delicate figure gradually appeared. The maiden wore a long gown tightly hugging her body with hundreds of soft feathers woven together. The endless hallway, the winding balcony in an arch, at this height the wind blew freely, causing her dress to flutter in the breeze.

The backless dress, down to the slim waist, was covered with a thin, light cloak.

Her entire attire was simply white with some details adorned with deep blue gems, combined with flawless skin, her whole body seemed to shine like a sparkling snowflake falling from the sky, as if the embodiment of crystallization from thousands of frozen snowflakes.

Crystalina leaned against the balcony, looking down at everything below. She sweeped the white, silky strands of hair that were tangled on her face, her movements graceful and delicate, ten parts beautiful.

The legendary snowflake appeared, because it was so high that no one below had noticed yet, she closed her eyes, her pink lips curved into a gentle smile.

She liked the excitement.

But it had to be the excitement when people still hadn't noticed her.

Today was the 18th birthday of the great princess Crystalina. The whole kingdom regarded it as a significant occasion; King Aldric Ethanevich even held a festival lasting seven days, with people dancing and singing, releasing sky lanterns at night, illuminating the entire night sky.

Why was Crystalina considered great? Eighteen years ago, Queen Isadora gave birth to the first princess, at that time a strange snowstorm had lasted for six months in Eonhaven, and inexplicably ended, saving the kingdom which was on the verge of collapse.

Five years later, the little princess, at the age of five, followed the king out of tye palace to join the procession. In the parade, one of her shoes fell off, it was picked up by a beggar, who, out of extreme poverty, wanted to sell it on the black market.

But unfortunately for him, the thief was finally discovered, King Aldric allowed the princess to decide the man's fate. Although he had committed a serious crime and almost to die, the little Crystalina unexpectedly took off the remaining shoe and handed it to him.

The beggar knelt down, looking up at the ethereal figure as white as snow with a gentle smile, her delicate bare feet standing on the rough cobblestone street, a solemn sound murmuring a line from the ancient scriptures:

"Give, and it will be given to you, a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over."

"In the future, I am sure you will repay me with something in a better version."

Intelligent and compassionate, the story spread far and wide, and the populace saw it as a blessing. But there would be nothing more to say if two years later, the former beggar pardoned by the princess became a famous extraordinary figure in the royal army, that was General Lancelot Ironfist, who later successfully defeated the invasion of the Barbarian forces.

In the following years, when Crystalina was ten years old, her rainmaking spell ended the constant drought, reviving countless crops and ending the famine.

Three years later, due to a rumor about Cronos's treasure, the God of Time appeared, and humanity was plunged into a crazy war. One of the three most belligerent forces at that time, the Crimson Empire, invaded Eonhaven. They believed that Eonhaven did not participate because they were hiding some secret, especially their mysterious Cosmos Chrono Tower.

Crystalina, at the age of fifteen, to protect the peace of the kingdom, she deciphered the code in the ancient holy book, opening up a huge arsenal of military weapons hidden under the sea for thousands of years.

The ancient weapons left by the Ethanevich ancestors were so powerful that, within three days, they drove away more than fifty thousand powerful soldiers of the Crimson Empire.

Ethanevich Crystalina, in the eyes of the world at this moment, was like an angel descending.

"Princess! Princess!"

Crystalina turned her head because of the familiar call, her eyes as clear as glacier, under the sparkling sunlight they looked like tears of the ocean.

A young maid ran up from a distance, very quickly stood in front of her, breathing heavily, bowing respectfully, Crystalina quickly helped her up, the maid's face immediately flushed because of shyness.

Everyone in the palace liked the princess.

"Princess, the king has been looking for you for a while now, it's time for the procession."

Crystalina: "Sorry, I forgot."

The maid shook repeatedly, emotionally, thinking to herself, even if Chrono Citadel had 100 floors, and the princess was on the rooftop, I would never feel bothered.

"Princess Crystalina, how are you?"

A deep, husky voice sounded.

Crystalina looked up, a dark figure jumped from the roof to the balcony, without any unnecessary movements kneeling on one knee before her.

A scarlet cloak spread across the ground, and on him was a shining, gleaming iron armor, he bowed before Crystalina in the most respectful manner, like a great beast submitting to its tiny master.

General Lancelot Ironfist.

Crystalina, surprised:

"General, you climbed onto the roof again? It's very dangerous."

Whenever Lancelot was in the palace, nine out of ten times she came up here, she would see him.

Lancelot stood up, he was incredibly tall, although his face was often ferocious on the battlefield, at this moment it was very gentle as he bowed to her.

"Helping the king find the princess, there's nothing dangerous."

The maid thought to herself, doesn't general seem to enjoy climbing onto rooftops?

Afterwards, he placed his right hand on his left chest and slightly bowed, which is the customary way of speaking to superiors in Eonhaven:

"Help the princess quickly descend for the procession with the populace, it's the right thing to do."

"Princess, would you agree to let me take you down in the quickest way?"

Crystalina looked puzzled, her innocent face as pure as the first snowflake of the season.

"How long is the fastest?"

They were on the highest floor of the Chrono Citadel, the 88th floor, so using the royal special equipment to descend would take at least 15 minutes.

Lancelot chuckled: "Less than 3 minutes."

The maid nearby, upon hearing this, was shocked, was the general going to sprout wings and fly!?

Crystalina was surprised: "Really? Then let's try it, next time I'll use that method."

Lancelot laughed: "You can't do it alone."

Then he stepped forward in front of Crystalina, his entire figure looming over her like he was enveloping her.

"Princess, forgive me, hold on to me."

After saying that, Lancelot swiftly lifted Crystalina up, Crystalina was caught off guard, could only instinctively wrap her arms around his neck.

Then Lancelot's next move was something no one could predict.

It was a hug that leaped off the balcony, the wind billowing, one hand grabbed a long, seemingly endless chain hanging loosely above.

He hugged the beautiful Crystalina, used the wall as a fulcrum, and then jumped down vigorously.

"Oh my god!!!" - The maid screamed in shock.
