Accidental marriage

"Olga, get ready fast or we will be late." Yelled mom from outside my bedroom's door.

"Yes mom, Give me 30 minutes more Olga replied as she ran into the bathroom to take her bathe. But I wasn't sure if she wanted to go for this wedding or not....

How can I see him get married to another lady. I think it's a bad idea.... I think I shouldn't go for this wedding, as I don't think I will be able to be normal afterwards.... But at the same time I wanted to see him one more time before he gets married....

Moreover I wanted to show my stubborn mind that he was really getting married... Maybe it will calm down after getting to see him married.

I had this huge crush on him for the past 9 years... though it seemed that he was totally oblivious of me...

I can't even blame him, he didn't know about my feelings.....

Anyways it is too late now, I took a beautiful "Slubka" and started getting ready.

"Olga, do you want to come with us or not?" Mom asked me, entering my room as she started getting impatient now. But as soon as she looked at me, her expression changed.

"Oh my God! you love so lovely, my dear. I am amazed that you are wearing a Slubka. You are looking extremely beautiful." Mom said.

"Chill mom, you know I love this one." I didn't want her to know how I was feeling right now. I wore Gorals and my bracelets. Applied a little makeup.

We came downstairs and as soon as my father saw me. His eyes lit with love, as he hugged me and planted a kiss on my forehead.

We all drove to the wedding which was scheduled to take place at one of the best 5 star-hotels in the city. My heart was beating fast. We entered the hall which was decorated tastefully.

Oh God, why have I come here? as my heart began to sink. My feet refused to move and wanted to go away but couldn't.

He was there with his friends... he just got out of his beautifully decorated car. His parents and brothers were also there. My parents started going towards there and my mom tugged me along with her.

As soon as Mr and Mrs Harrison(Zane's parents) saw us they came to greet us. Mr. Rachel Harrison is my dads business partner.He is a jolly good fellow, always good to talk to. He is a very successful business man. he has an embroidery and printing factory and they export clothes all over the world. His wife Mrs.sonia Harrison is also a loving and caring woman.

"Congratulations!!" My mom greeted aunt sonia and she smiled hugging mom.

After they all greeted each other uncle ram looked at me and said "Awwwww!!" in a very surprised tone. who is this young and pretty girl? Have we met earlier, dear.

"Uncle please stop teasing me."

"Oh my God" What happened to you dear. it seems you have grown over night. "You are looking so beautiful...."

I just blushed at his comments and my parents where looking at me adoringly.

Uncle said to dad "Michal, I think we should start looking for a suitable match for this young lady."

Yes it seems she is 22" My father replied.

"Oh please, dad and uncle, just stop this." My mom and aunt where enjoying at my expense.

It is better I ignore them. "I thought as I left to go get myself a drink."

I started going through a snacks bar as I grabbed myself a glass of juice.

My eyes started searching for Vane again. And I saw that he was staring at me. I smiled at him but he kept looking at me very intensely. I wanted to know what he was thinking as I couldn't understand the expression in his eyes.

Just then someone tapped at my back. As i turned it was Vanes younger brother Kamil. He was actually two years older than I. He was excessively frank and quite friendly.

"So someone is dressed to impress all. You are looking so beautiful. You know how many people are looking at you. Where were you all the time?"

"Kamil, please stop this am getting irritated now. everyone is teasing me. I should not have worn a slubka"

"Oh no, am not teasing you. You are looking like an angel. infact, am enjoying the fact that am talking to the most beautiful girl here and all the men are glaring at me and my freinds there are asking me to introduce them to you."

"Please don't do it, am not interested in anyone."

"I know.... Said Kamil, very seriously and I wanted to ask him what he meant by that. But just then someone called him and he excused himself and went away.

I again looked at vane and still, he was staring at me. which made me happy and sad at the same time.

I started sipping my drink slowly and my throat felt dry.

Vane was 5 years older than me. But it didn't still change the fact that I had a huge crush on him. I was generally shy in his presence and he used to avoid me. I used to get hurt that he was avoiding me but my feelings remained intact.

It was just last week that vanes parents came to our house telling us that vane was getting married to his girlfriend Julia within the week. Uncle was not very happy with the decision. I felt very miserable after I heard the news.

I went to my room and cried for a very long time..... and today I was here to attend his wedding. I wanted to see this with my own eyes that he is happy with someone so that I could forget him and move on with my life.

Though, all my freinds knew about my crush on him but my parents had no idea about it.

I was still lost in my thoughts when I heard that someone was shouting, There was some kind of tension in the air. All of a sudden everyone seemed tense. I could not understand what was going on.

Vane seemed to be very angry and was looking like a wounded lion. Uncle and aunty where very tense and my parents tried to calm them down.

All of a sudden uncle started sweating profusely and dad had to call on vane and kamil. They both came running and they all took uncle Rachael into a room. Kamil called for a doctor and within a short period of time the family doctor arrived to examine uncle. Aunty cried while my mom consoled her. Meanwhile Vane and kamil looked very very sad and guilty. I didn't even know what was going on but I felt very bad.

The doctor said uncle had an anxiety attack and as he already had one last year. it wasn't good for him to be anxious.

My Dad,Vane and Kamil went inside. There was too much tension everywhere.

I asked my mom, "Mom, what happened to uncle. He was so happy as always. Why is he so anxious?"

Before mom could say anything, Dad came out of the room, he called my mom and they talked privately for 15 minutes. They seemed to be in tension and where discussing on something very seriously.

What is going on? will someone tell me, please? My mom came and she held my hand in hers as led me towards my father. My father said uncle was not well but he needed to talk to me on something very important. I didn't know what to say I was so confused.

My father hugged me and asked me to come with him. I followed him and mom and aunty did the same. As we all entered the room which uncle was resting. I looked at him and he told me to come near him.

"Better, I don't know how to say this, but can I ask you something?"

"Of course, uncle you can ask me anything but firstly you must take a rest. You are looking very weak."

"I will take a rest after talking to you. Please forgive me for asking this but I need you to do something for me... us..." Said uncle looking at me with some hope in his eyes.

"Uncle, please you can ask me to do anything, anytime. You are just like my father. I respect and love you alot. I will surely do anything to make you happy."

He held my hand and asked me, "Will you please be my daughter?"

I got very confused and was trying to get what he meant by that just then he said, " I want you to marry my son Vane......."
