Chapter 1 The curse of Ravenglen

In the quiet village of Ravenglen, nestled deep in a shadowy forest, tales of an ancient curse were passed down through generations. The elders spoke of a monstrous creature, a werewolf, who roamed the woods under the full moon. Few believed these stories, dismissing them as folklore, until one fateful night.

Lena, a young huntress, had always been curious about the truth behind the legend. Armed with her bow and a silver-tipped arrow, she ventured into the forest on the night of the blood moon. The air was thick with mist, and the howling wind seemed to whisper warnings in her ear. But Lena pressed on, determined to prove herself.

As midnight approached, the woods grew eerily silent. Then, from the shadows, a low growl echoed through the trees. Lena's heart raced as she spun around, her eyes catching a glimpse of glowing amber eyes staring at her. The creature emerged, its hulking figure towering over her, fur bristling and teeth bared. It was the werewolf, just as the stories had described.

But something was different. The beast's eyes, though filled with rage, held a glimmer of sadness. Lena hesitated, her arrow drawn. Suddenly, the creature lunged, and in that moment, she let the arrow fly.

The silver-tipped arrow struck true, but instead of the beast falling, it let out a haunting cry. The werewolf collapsed, transforming before her eyes into a young man. His voice, weak and broken, whispered, "Thank you."

Lena knelt beside him, realizing that the curse had been broken, but at a great cost. The man, once a villager, had been trapped in the form of a beast for years. In his final breath, he revealed that the curse could only be lifted by a willing heart-someone brave enough to face the darkness within.

The village would never know the full story, but Lena, forever changed, understood the truth. Sometimes, the monsters we fear are the ones we need to save.

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ “I want to get a divorce, Mark,” I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time—even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.
