The Demons Personal Maid

In the lands of Bougreve, believed to be the only land where the humans reside in the midst of the other three: Rivelle, Borreve and Poetwyth believed to be where the night creatures resides. The witches lives in either of the four lands,they either stay with the humans putting on their human form and the improvised witches stay in the night creatures land. They do hide their true identity cause they will be burnt if found and this had made them want to unbind the dark magic so that they could rule the four lands but unbinding it was a huge task cause series of massacre were needed.

The four lands where ruled by Lords,Bougreve was ruled by Lord Jeffrey, Rivelle by Lord Xyle, Borreve by Lord Xavier and Poetwyth by Lord Zirreve. Lord Jeffrey was a human while the rest were vampires but rumors had it that Lord Xavier was a demon and the three Lords feared him the most. Vampires could rip body apart with their hands but Xavier could both rip and set someone on fire just by his looks, maybe he was from the first generation of vampires or was truly the demon he was rumored about.

Back in Bougreve was a girl by the name Hazel, her dad had been abducted with the last riot that happened with Poetwyth. Yeah, you heard right 'riot'. It was a normal thing as vampires came to abduct humans and use them as either slaves, pets, or just a blood bank and unfortunately, her dad had been carried. Since she was little, she had always faced situations like this as they would run towards the forest to take shelter and only come back when the vampires had left. But there was also a rule that the vampires take and it was that they aren't meant to abduct only the elite humans that is they humans in higher positions but they were also still at the mercies of the night creatures

"Take Hazel with you and run towards the forest, the others are there" Lionel said

"But where would you go" Vivian asked

"I'll go check if I can carry anything along"

"But they could abduct you"

"They won't"

"How sure are you"

"I promise, I'll be back" he then looked at hazel his big girl now"daddy will be back"

"I know" Hazel said and hugged him

"I'll be back,wait for me" he kissed his wife and left while they ran towards the forest

After the riot was over, Hazel and Vivian and the others returned, they searches and waited for days but he didn't return so they concluded that he was abducted. Now all that could hope for was that another riot won't break out soon. They had at several times tried taking the issue to Lord Jeffrey but his answer was always the same

"We are at their mercy, they are vampires and we are humans"

Hazel and Vivian since then had tried to survive as everything they had had been burnt by the last riot. Vivian decide to go into selling wools in the market

"Hazel" Vivian called after they had finished their meal

"Yes mum"

"You should try finding yourself a suitor,you know"

"......"

"Your eighteen already, girls at your age had already gotten married"

"I haven't found a suitor"

"Seriously, with all those men that do come around"

"I Dont like any"

"Then, I'm sure you'll love being Mr Helios's wife"

"Mr Helois?, Lord Jeffrey deputy?"

"Yep, you've met him before?"

"Yes...no...I mean yes when I went to the meadows, he was there too"

"And you never told me"

"There's nothing to tell mum and besides he already has a wife"

"Who cares, you could be his mistress"

"What!! Mum you can't say such, I will only marry someone I love and not because I want to change my status"

"Hazel, do you want us to keep running into the forest every time a riot starts, don't you want to be an elite"

"I would love to,but not as a mistress"

"I'll give you time to think about it..... Go bring the clothes outside, seems like the rain is about to fall. Hazel left to get the clothes but she caught site of a white creature lurking close to her and she found out it was a rabbit, it wasn't scared when she carried it and she loved animals, so she brought it inside

"Looks like we'll be eating meat today" Vivian teased

"No, I'm keeping this one"

"I see why animals aren't scared of you"

"Why"

"Because they know who wouldn't harm them" she smiled as she said that. Hazel took note of it as its been long her mum had smiled since her dad's been abducted

"Do you think dad's dead or maybe a slave"

Vivian's face turned sour before she answered" I don't know, I really don't know"she said as tears made their way up to hers eyes

"Don't worry mum, you have me"

Weeks passed and Vivian decided to add sweaters to her market. Hazel on the other hand was able to attend dance classes, she also bought a cage for relles(the rabbit). Suitors kept coming but she refused all. Weeks and days passed such that two years passed soon
