The Omega's Revenge Chapter 1 FLESH ON FLESH

SUSAN'S POINT OF VIEW.

"Darcy, you are so sweet, and hot," I heard a familiar feminine voice say from my mate's bedroom.

This is not the first time he is bringing another woman to our matrimonial home, and making love with them. I'm used to hearing them moan in pleasure from my room.

Though we sleep in separate rooms, our rooms are next to each other, and if I listen closely I would hear the sound of a dropping pin in his room.

The voice was so familiar, but I couldn't tell who exactly it was. Fueled by curiosity, I dropped the bag of groceries I went to get from the pack supermarket and stood close to his door to eavesdrop. All I heard was moaning and groaning, and sounds of flesh on flesh.

The tears I have been fighting so hard to hold, slowly rolled down my eyes.

I picked up the bag of groceries, opening my door, I sank my ass on the couch in my room.

I cried my eyes out until I lost my voice, and my eyes were redder than the color red itself.

I couldn't dare to look at my reflection in the mirror one more time as it will cause me more pain.

Since I left the Omega quarters after I found my mate in the mating ceremony that was conducted three years ago, I had been living in the main building as the Alpha mate, but not as his Luna.

He reminded at any slightest provocation of how he couldn't reject me because his father wanted me for him, and how I'm an Omega, who doesn't know her father, and he couldn't stoop so low to make a bastard like me his Luna.

He touches me as many times as he pleases, but refuses to mark me, he has never claimed me publicly or allowed me to go out with him to events and ceremonies.

Deciding not to make his dinner tonight, I brought out my laptop, and started working. I had a few consultations to make for upcoming fashion models. I had myself buried in my work, when I heard a gentle knock on my door.

Only two people ever knock on my door in the entire pack, the Alpha, who is my mate, and my personal maidservant. From the gentle knock on the door I could tell it wasn't my mate, and my maidservant doesn't knock like that either.

I spied through the peephole in my door and I saw a zeta warrior standing opposite my door.

I wondered what brings him to my door as I swung my door open.

"The Alpha calls for you," he said immediately I opened the door.

None of the maidservant and guards ever refers to me as Luna, and it didn't mean much to me, as I have made peace with the loveless marriage I'm in, and hope it gets better with time.

"Tell him, I will be on my way," I replied softly.

Without uttering more words, he bowed his head and left.

I changed into a more decent dress, and headed downstairs.

"Why is my dinner not ready at 7pm?" he asked, glaring at me immediately I stepped on the last staircase leading to the dining room, the disgust in his eyes could not be mistaken.

I stared at him blankly without uttering a word.

"You bastard! I asked you a question, why in the moon's name is my dinner not ready?" he snapped.

I swallowed hard and he chuckled.

"Are you going to answer me or should I force words out of your mouth with a slap," his voice tinged with anger and rage.

"I was busy with work," I blurted out.

He laughed devilishly and moved close to me, my feet trembled as he got closer, a feminine scent hit my nostril. He's been in another woman's arms all day long, so I wasn't surprised.

"You were too busy to make me dinner?" he asked, his voice harsh and dry.

"I'm sorry, Darcy," I muttered.

He lifted me by my neck and smacked me on the ground, my thin body fell on the ground with a heavy force.

"Don't you dare go close to her," he scolded the guard who was trying to help me get up on my feet.

I lay on the marble floor crying, as blood dripped from the arc of my left eyebrow, the pain was getting severe and standing up became difficult, I gathered little strength and managed to stand up.

"I see you are strong. Now, go make your mate some food for dinner," he ordered.

Without wasting one more second, I stood up, and staggered my way to the kitchen and started cooking, without cleaning the wounds I had incurred from his beating.

An hour later, his food was ready, and I served him with his favorite watermelon juice.

"Sit," he muttered politely.

I looked behind me to see who he was talking to, but the dining room was empty, it was only the two of us that were in the dining room.

Where did the maidservant and guards go?

"I'm taking to you, don't act dumb like you always do," he fired.

It was surprising to me because in our three years of marriage, he had never invited me to sit next to him in public, let alone have dinner with him.

"Tomorrow is our third year wedding anniversary," he began

My eyes lightened up in happiness, thank goodness he remembered. I smiled inwardly and sat up.

"It's going to be a great celebration, get your best dress and favorite shoe ready, as I will be inaugurating you as my Luna," his voice hypnotizing and full of authority.

I couldn't believe my ears, I bit my tongue to be sure I wasn't dreaming, I couldn't hide my joy anymore, I jumped to where he was sitting and kissed him happily.

He kissed me back and butterflies filled my stomach, I have finally won my mate's heart.

"Go start your preparation, tomorrow is less than twelve hours," he reminded me.

"Yes honey," I replied giggling, I emptied a cup of orange juice down my throat, kissed him again, and ran upstairs to get my outfit for tomorrow ready.

Landslide

My bank account showed exactly $42.18, and my student loan notifications were flashing red. I lived in a sweltering Queens apartment with my Aunt Lydia, where the air was thick with the smell of stale frying oil and the constant threat of being homeless. Lydia handed me a grainy photo of a man twice my age and told me she had already "sold" me to him. He was a dry cleaner looking for a wife, and in exchange for my hand, he would pay off her credit cards and my debt. If I didn't show up for the date that night, my boxes would be on the curb by midnight. I arrived at the cafe in a state of panic, my selective mutism making it impossible to even breathe. In the crowded room, I accidentally sat at the wrong table. Instead of the man from the photo, I found myself facing Gerhard Holcomb—the cold, terrifyingly handsome billionaire whose family owned the very museum where I worked. He didn't send me away; instead, he studied my trembling hands and offered me a different deal: a two-year contract marriage, a two-million-dollar payout, and a strict clause forbidding any children. I signed the papers and moved into his Park Avenue penthouse, thinking I was finally safe. But when I went back to the old apartment to retrieve the only memento of my dead parents, Lydia lashed out, leaving me bleeding from a head wound. Gerhard’s retaliation was absolute—he had her arrested and her building foreclosed on within hours, claiming he was simply "protecting his assets." As I recovered in his silent, glass-walled home, I saw a call from a famous socialite flash on his phone, and a cold truth settled in my gut. I wasn't just a wife; I was a placeholder, a silent shield used to fend off the women from his past. I looked at the massive pink diamond on my finger and realized the silence I had lived in my whole life was about to become my most expensive prison. I had traded a life of poverty for a high-stakes game of shadows, and now I had to survive the man who claimed to own me.

Flash Marriage To My Best Friend's Father

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancƩe. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch-a titan of industry and my best friend's father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.
