The Lycan King's Proposal Chapter 1 The king bosom

Alex walked in his room and sat on the bed, tired. He finished his hunt not quite long and he panted for breath. His eyes beheld the most beautiful woman he has ever seen.

The thought of her silky long hair racing down her freshly, soft back still lingered in his head. He shook the thoughts off as Camen strode inside his room.

"My king, what should we do to the animals we hunted today?" Camen asked, placing his bow by his side.

Alex cleared his throat and instructed his beta to distribute it to the people and organize a feast tonight. Alex's focus was shifted to the unknown beauty he met.

He craved her touch and body, he felt the feast he organized was a chance to meet the unknown beauty.

Alex asked for a bath and smirked as he strode towards his bath. He slipped into the cooling water, calming his senses and shutting off every distraction. He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

"NOOOO! ALEX" A lady screamed out.

Alex's eyes shut open, he scrutinized his bath, panting for breath. Alex pondered why he had a dream like that.

It was strange for the unknown beauty to appear in his dream, all he wanted was to see her and get her to be his. He has never felt a deep attraction to a lady before.

"What if she is my mate?" Alex asked himself, coming out of his bath and tied a robe to his body.

He shook his head in disbelief,

''she doesn't seem to be my mate. I never felt that link between us. But what's wrong" Alex muttered to himself.

Alex became curious on why he had felt an irresistible attraction to the unknown beauty.

"I guess, I will find out tonight" he said with a smirk.

Alex walked to his room, a tray of food was placed on his table, he sat on his bed and ate his meal slowly while fantasizing about the beauty. He pushed his meal aside and wore his clothes.

Alex was impatient to meet the lady, so wore his mask on and walked to the horse ranch. Camen was curious as to why the Lycan king was in a hurry to attend the feast so early.

He hoped to find the answers soon. Alex and his men took off and rode to the venue of the feast, there were noise and music playing as he rode his horse into the field.

Everyone's gazes fell on him, ladies stared at him lustfully knowing fully well who the strange man was. The music and their movements halted.

Alex halted his horse and hopped down, his eyes fixated on the crowd, looking aimlessly for the beauty but couldn't find her.

Camen noticed Alex's tactics and moved closer to him,

"What is it, my king? say the word and it will be carried out" Camen said, looking into the crowd out of curiosity.

Alex smiled and whispered some words in his beta ears. Camen nodded and left Alex.

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch-a titan of industry and my best friend's father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.

I Slapped My Fiancé-Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.
