This story tells us that life is made up of small, brief, meaningful interactions and encounters
Amara and Chinedu always lived parallel lives in Lagos, the bustling city of dreams and chaos. Amara, a talented fashion designer, had her boutique in the heart of Victoria Island. She was known for her unique blend of traditional Ankara fabrics with modern designs. Her creativity was her escape from the pressures of life and the memory of a painful breakup years ago. Chinedu, on the other hand, was a rising star in the tech industry. He co-founded a startup focused on creating apps that solved everyday problems for Nigerians.
His work often took him to Yaba, the silicon valley of Lagos where he and his team would brainstorm for hours fueled by passion and coffee. Their worlds collided one evening at an art exhibition in Lekki. Amara had been invited by a friend who thought she needed a night out while Chinedu was there to support a cousin whose artwork was being showcased. They met by chance, both admiring the same painting, a beautiful model in Lagos.
"What do you think of it" Chinedu asked noticing Amara's deep focus.
"It is very beautiful, the painter really captured her eyes and made it into a vibrant depiction of her" Amara replied with a smile.
Chinedu chuckled, "I'm glad you like it, well it is my cousin's painting, she really loves the model so she decided to make a painting of her, let me show you to her"
