The Lycan King's Bride Chapter 1 HARRASSED

FLORIDA'S POV

My thoughts were in disorder and my face was flushed. It had been hard to sleep for the past two days.

Every night, I'd think about how I needed to be touched. I'd fantasized about King Derek's touch, his kisses, and his dick rocking roughly into my hole.

It had been extremely difficult; sleeping had become very difficult, and to protect myself from my pheromone exposing my desire, I locked myself inside more often for the past few hours.

I didn't even let Ryan show up in front of me anymore, and probably because he had noticed my situation, he stayed away from me, too___ which actually made me feel somehow bitter.

I let out a deep breath, suppressing the heat from my body as I made my way toward the garden. I needed fresh air. To stop myself from fantasizing about erotic scenes and losing my mind, I decided to just go to the garden and just maybe-- I did feel better.

I watched the flowers, the plants, and the birds chirping happily, hoping to clear my mind, but unfortunately, nothing seemed to be working. Taking off my gown, I moved toward the pool at the center of the garden and stepped inside.

The cold water sipping into my body helped a little, relieving me of the pain of unfulfilled desperate desires. I rested my entire body inside the pool and closed my eyes__

Gradually, I relaxed...

Ugh! Hmm...

A low moan suddenly escaped my throat and my eyes opened wide. I quickly lowered my hand to capture the object that had tickled my breast in the water only to see a stick. A frown formed on my face, followed by anger and disgust as I swam out of the pool, put on my clothes, and dashed out of the garden.

"You, come here," I called a maid walking by.

Her eyes widened when she saw me but she still walked over and bowed in front of me. "My lady..." She called.

"Tell me, when last did you clean the pool inside the garden?" I asked, suppressing my anger and the redness that had sharply crept on my cheeks and ears.

The maid raised her head, confusion flashing across her face for a moment, "The pool..." She stuttered. "The pool in the garden is not always in use. No one goes there so it's not always cleaned. My queen, do you want us to clean it? I will relay the message and make sure it's always clean from now on," The maid's tone kept changing the more she talked, but I was too annoyed to pay much mind to her.

I waved my hand at her and turned around to leave. I had come downstairs to lift my mood, but the incident earlier only further dampened it. I decided to return to my room and just play with the kids. I had survived for a whole two days; I just needed to endure it for five more days, and I would be fine...

I sucked in a deep breath as I pushed the door opened and saw Reah dancing with babies who were in their cribs. With a drumming toy in her hand, she laughed and played with them. The scene was especially harmonious.

I stared at them for a moment and my eyes drifted off to Reah's pale and flawless face. Her distinct features look extremely good with her pale face. Her eyes were particularly sharp but gave off a soft feeling that was bound to win any heart.

The process of opening and closing her mouth, the slight movement of her eyes as she played with the kids, and the hands that played around the drumming toy seemed to pull something within my chest, and right then, my body shivered violently.

I quickly grasped the door to support myself but a moan still escaped my throat, which attracted Reah's attention. She looked at me and quickly rushed over, attempting to hold me but without thinking, I stepped back and raised my hand to stop her. "Don't touch me," I said to her, my voice a little loud and panicked.

Right then, when I looked at Reah, I felt a strange feeling from within me and when she walked over, the feeling increased. An obscene thought wouldn't stop running through my mind and this scared me. I had never seen Reah this way before; could it be that the symptoms of the heat were starting to play a prank on my mind?

Whatever it was, I knew it was dangerous.

I wasn't homosexual. I had my mate and I should stay loyal to him, no matter what.

I avoided Reah's astonished face as I rushed toward the bathroom, but stopped myself before entering. With my back turned to her, I was able to brace myself a little, my knuckles turning white from gripping the bathroom door handle too hard. "Take the kids downstairs to play with them. I need some time alone," I said to her and without waiting for her to reply, I opened the bathroom door and slipped in.

Closing the door behind me, weakness washed over me, and my body started sweating profusely. My breathing turned haggard as I slumped to the ground and started removing my dress.

I couldn't take it any longer. I was starting to lose my mind and I knew I needed to do something.

"Where are you, Baby? Where are you?" I mumbled out loud, hoping King Derek would really show up even though I knew that was only a dream that wouldn't necessarily come to pass.

After removing my gown, leaving nothing on me, I forced my body up from the ground and staggered toward the bathtub. I stepped into it, and the cold water sipped into my body but that only aroused my desire even more_

I grabbed my breasts and started kneading them. I had my head hung back as I pulled and massaged my breasts roughly. My fingers ran over my body, grabbing and pinching my nipples. Unrestrained moans escaped my throat nonstop but I still wasn't satisfied.

I wanted more___ I needed more...

I trailed down my body and parted my legs. Running my fingers across my pussy, I tried to control my desire but nothing seemed to help. Closing my eyes, I trailed toward my entrance, hesitated for a few seconds, and dipped a finger in...

"Ou... fuck!" I cursed out loud, opening my slightly watery eyes to take in the blurry scene in front of me.

I sat properly in the bathtub and quickly increased the fingers to two, my movement quickened. My moans rushed out without any intention of stopping while my free hand continued playing with my breasts.

"Damn it!"

Fuck!

Yes, that's it!

Argh!

Oh good___

Good-

The fingers increased to three and the pleasure couldn't be described. I half-closed my eyes and bit my lower lip as I moaned even louder. "Ahh... shit... fuck~"

My body moved with my fingers, my desire flaring through the skies and my nipples getting harder. The pleasure was immeasurable and the earlier thirst seemed to be slowly quenching.

"Yes... That's it... Right there..."

I arrived at the hotel with Julian's favorite takeout, ready to surprise my fiancé before our big merger. But the moment I swiped the keycard, the silence of the hallway felt heavy and wrong. Inside, a red-soled stiletto lay on the marble floor-the same one I'd watched my best friend Lila try on at Saks last week. Through the cracked bedroom door, I watched Julian's back arch as Lila looked me straight in the eye and smiled, wrapping her legs tighter around him to mock my heartbreak. I fled to the penthouse to hide, only to find Grafton, Julian's "crippled" brother, waiting in the dark. To my horror, the man who was supposed to be paralyzed stood up from his wheelchair, gripped my chin with cold fingers, and forced me to sign a contract that gave him control of my family's shares. He knew about my mother's secret medical bills and used them to buy my silence, effectively turning my life into a calculated game of corporate chess. The betrayal tasted like acid, and the injustice of it all burned in my throat. My fiancé was a liar, my best friend was a thief, and the man now controlling my fate was a predator who had been faking his disability for years. I couldn't understand how everyone I trusted had turned out to be a monster. I was trapped between a man who cheated on me and a man who wanted to own me, with no way out and no one to turn to. But when Julian came looking for me, Grafton didn't hide; he stood tall, looming over me with a possessive glint in his eyes. "Help me destroy Julian," I rasped, realizing that to survive the Faulkner men, I had to become the most dangerous player of them all.

The heavy iron gates of the Wilderness Correction Camp groaned as they released me after three years of state-sponsored hell. I stood on the dirt road, clutching a plastic bag that held my entire life, waiting for the family that claimed they sent me there for "rehab." My brother, Brady, picked me up in a luxury SUV only to throw me out onto a deserted highway in the middle of a brewing storm. He told me I was a "public relations nightmare" and that the rain might finally wash the "stink" of the camp off me. He drove away, leaving me to limp miles through the mud on a snapped ankle. When I finally dragged myself to our family estate, my mother didn't offer a hug; she gasped in horror because my muddy clothes were ruining her Italian marble. They didn't give me my old room back. Instead, they banished me to a moldy gardener’s shack and hired a "babysitter" to make sure I didn't embarrass them further. My sister, Kaleigh, stood there in white cashmere, pretending to cry while clinging to her fiancé, Ambrose—the man who had once been mine. They all treated me like a volatile junkie, refusing to acknowledge that Kaleigh was the one who planted the drugs in my bag three years ago. They wanted to believe I was broken so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about the "wellness retreat" that was actually a torture chamber. I sat in the dark of that shed, feeling the cooling gel on the cigarette burns that covered my arms, and realized they had made a fatal mistake. They thought they had erased me, but I had returned with a roadmap of scars and a hidden satellite phone. At dinner, I didn't beg for their love. I simply rolled up my sleeves and showed them the price of their silence. As the wine spilled and the lies crumbled, I sent a single text to the only person I trusted: "I'm in. Let them simmer." The hunt was finally on.

Rain hammered against the asphalt as my sedan spun violently into the guardrail on the I-95. Blood trickled down my temple, stinging my eyes, while the rhythmic slap of the windshield wipers mocked my panic. Trembling, I dialed my husband, Clive. His executive assistant answered instead, his voice professional and utterly cold. "Mr. Wilson says to stop the theatrics. He said, and I quote, 'Hang up. Tell her I don’t have time for her emotional blackmail tonight.'" The line went dead while I was still trapped in the wreckage. At the hospital, I watched the news footage of Clive wrapping his jacket around his "fragile" ex-girlfriend, Angelena, shielding her from the storm I was currently bleeding in. When I returned to our penthouse, I found a prenatal ultrasound in his suit pocket, dated the day he claimed to be on a business trip. Instead of an apology, Clive met me with a sneer. He told me I was nothing but an "expensive decoration" his father bought to make him look stable. He froze my bank accounts and cut off my cards, waiting for the hunger to drive me back to his feet. I stared at the man I had loved for four years, realizing he didn't just want a wife; he wanted a prop he could switch off. He thought he could starve me into submission while he played father to another woman's child. But Clive forgot one thing. Before I was his trophy wife, I was Starfall—the legendary voice actress who vanished at the height of her fame. "I'm not jealous, Clive. I'm done." I grabbed my old microphone and walked out. I’m not just leaving him; I’m taking the lead role in the biggest saga in Hollywood—the one Angelena is desperate for. This time, the "decoration" is going to burn his world down.

I was the titan of Wall Street until an indictment and an ankle monitor turned my penthouse into a gilded cage. To save face, I was forced into a marriage with Elza, a "mute" girl from the Schmidt family whom I treated as nothing more than a silent piece of furniture while my empire crumbled. The night I was poisoned at a high-society gala, a mysterious server in an oversized uniform saved my life with terrifying, clinical precision. They disappeared into the night, leaving me with a silver cufflink and a burning obsession to find the shadow who held my life in their hands. Back home, I took my frustration out on Elza, telling her she was "exhausting to look at" and "smelled like sickness" after her charity visits. Her own family treated her like a stray dog, trying to humiliate her at the next gala by dressing her in what they claimed was a cheap knockoff while whispering to the press that she was nothing but a high-end escort. "Stay out of my way," I would growl at her, never noticing the steel in her eyes. I sat at my table, watching my rivals' stocks plummet and wondering who "The Zero"—the legendary financial ghost—really was. I never suspected that the woman I ignored was the same one solving the equations that were currently burning Manhattan to the ground. The injustice peaked when Elza stood before the city's elite, not as a victim, but as a queen. She dropped over a hundred million dollars to buy back her family’s legacy, revealing a secret fortune that made my own empire look like pocket change. As I grabbed her wrist and saw the small red mole hidden beneath her watch, the truth hit me like a physical blow. The silent wife I had despised was the savior I had been hunting, and she was finally done playing the victim. "We have a lot to talk about, wife," I whispered, realizing I had been sleeping next to the most dangerous woman in the world.
