Chapter 1 The hunting of Ravenna

The village of Ashwood lay shrouded in an eternal mist, as if the very heavens themselves were trying to conceal its dark secrets. It was a place where the living and the dead coexisted, where the wind whispered tales of the damned, and where the trees seemed to writhe in agony.

In the heart of this forsaken village stood the crumbling manor of the ancient and noble House of Ravenna. For generations, the Ravennas had ruled Ashwood with an iron fist, their power and influence woven into the very fabric of the village.

But the Ravennas were not like other families. They were cursed, tainted by a darkness that had haunted them for centuries. It was said that the founder of the House of Ravenna, the great and terrible Malcolm Ravenna, had made a pact with a malevolent force to ensure his family's prosperity.

The cost of this pact had been steep, for it had brought a terrible curse upon the Ravennas. Each generation had been born with a growing darkness within, a hunger for power and a thirst for blood.

Ravenna, the last scion of the House of Ravenna, was no exception. She was a beautiful and alluring woman, with skin as pale as alabaster and hair as black as the night. Her eyes gleamed with an otherworldly intensity, a piercing green that seemed to bore into the souls of those around her.

But Ravenna's beauty was a mere facade, a mask that concealed the horror within. She was a creature driven by her darkest impulses, a monster who preyed upon the innocent and the unwary.

And yet, despite the terror she inspired, Ravenna was a lonely and isolated figure. She was a woman without love, without friendship, and without hope. Her existence was a bleak and barren one, a desert of the soul.

But all of that was about to change.

For in the darkness, a presence stirred. A presence that had been watching Ravenna for years, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

And when it did, nothing would ever be the same again.

The presence was that of a young man named Malakai. He was a stranger to Ashwood, a wanderer who had stumbled into the village by chance. But he was no ordinary stranger, for he was driven by a hunger that rivaled Ravenna's own.

Malakai was a man consumed by his own darkness, a darkness that had haunted him since childhood. He was a creature of the night, a monster who preyed upon the innocent and the unwary.

And yet, despite the evil that lurked within him, Malakai was drawn to Ravenna. He was captivated by her beauty, her power, and her darkness. He was a moth to her flame, a creature helpless to resist the allure of the evil that lay within her.

As the days passed, Malakai found himself becoming increasingly entwined with Ravenna. He was drawn into her world of darkness and shadow, a world where the living and the dead coexisted.

And as he delved deeper into this world, Malakai began to realize that he was not alone. There were others out there, creatures of the night who shared his hunger and his darkness.

But Malakai was not interested in these others. He was interested only in Ravenna, the beautiful and terrifying woman who had captured his heart.

And as the darkness deepened, Malakai knew that he would stop at nothing to claim Ravenna as his own. He would do whatever it took to make her his, to bind her to him with chains of darkness and desire.

For in the world of the evil love, there was no room for tenderness or compassion. There was only room for the hunger, the desire, and the darkness that drove them all.

And so, the evil love of Ravenna and Malakai began, a love that would consume them both, body and soul.
