In the era of sinister and death, magic was the only last hope for mankind, for there was devastating tragedy in the land of mankind and only one with a pure heart can resolve the distress... The Phoenix witch. It is said the Phoenix goddess siofra chooses a new phoenix supreme each time the past one is dead and this is known as the Phoenix cycle. The world was in an outbreak of collapse and Jackie a young teenage high school girl was chosen to save humanity from distress, with the help of her friends, masters and colleagues she mastered all magical fits, but with the magical abilities she have, can she save the world from this imminent danger.
Chapter 1 THE CHOSEN ONE.
It was 12 midnight on the street of los Angeles, everywhere was luminous, up from the skyscraper and down to the street lights, the environment was cool and calm when suddenly, there was an outburst of pursuit from the alley, a group of wizards uniformly dressed were pursuing to capture strife, a muscular tall demon from the underworld sent to kill the Phoenix wizard; a mighty sorcerer known to be powerful and vast in mystic art.
Strife a demon with dark magical power who's abilities were way above sorcery understanding, had immense fit of powers which includes shapeshifting, of which his capable of shapeshifting and near perfect mimicry of people that comes in contact with, and also having the ability to morph his arms into solid tools or bladed weapons and flatten itself and imitate the pattern and texture of the ground to hide or ambush Targets. With this ability the demon strife was locked on in a battle with the wizards. Using black magic strife struck, punch and brawled the wizards, infact they were no match for him, as he successfully thwarted them and kept on searching for the Phoenix supreme( wizard), across the street of los Angeles, at the same time terrorizing neighborhoods.
As he embarks on his journey, a portal was opened at his forefront and behold who came forth was the Phoenix wizard (supreme), the most powerful wizard in the universe. Seeing this, strife spoked in a roaring voice saying; well well well, look who it is, the one and only sorcerer supreme. Did You miss me? Asked Damian the Phoenix wizard as they both were moving round in circles on the street of los Angeles, causing traffic. I was sent to kill you and if possible destroy you said strife as he furrowed his eyes and extract his poisonous claws and tails. Damian who was reckless and careless replied him in a boasting way saying are those for me cause I'm going to send you back to where you came from. Angry strife replied saying; well let's see who's going down tonight. They began fighting across the streets destroying infrastructures and people's houses, strife on the other hand was way more stronger than Damian. But damaina was vastly skilled in sorcery as he successfully dispatched and thwarted strife, sending him back to the underworld.
