Alana is forced to marry Adrian, a cold and vengeful heir to a business empire. This marriage isn't about love-it's punishment. To Adrian, Alana is merely a tool for revenge for the betrayal her family has committed against him. From the first night, Adrian treats her with contempt, viewing her as a cheap woman sold by her family to atone for their wrongdoings. But Alana refuses to submit. Heartbroken and seething with rage, she vows to persevere and prove that she belongs to no one, let alone a man who only sees her as an object of pleasure. But as time goes by, the hatred between them begins to mix with an unexplainable attraction. Adrian begins to see that Alana is not who he thinks she is. But as he begins to doubt his own intentions, a deep secret about a past betrayal is revealed-and things take a more dangerous turn. Can Alana free herself from Adrian's shadow of revenge? Or will she be trapped in this game of hatred and passion forever?

I'm Not Your Whore! Chapter 1 Alana stood in front of the grand

Alana stood in front of the grand, towering mansion, her fingers clenching the cold metal of her suitcase handle. The night air was thick with tension, a silent omen of the life she was about to step into. This wasn't a wedding. It wasn't a new beginning. It was a transaction-a punishment she had never asked for.

The double doors of the estate loomed before her, intimidating and unwelcoming. They swung open without a sound, revealing the man she had been forced to marry. Adrian Carlisle.

He stood at the threshold, tall and imposing, his sharp features sculpted in contempt. His storm-gray eyes were devoid of warmth as they roamed over her, assessing her like one would a cheap commodity.

"So, you're finally here." His voice was cold, detached, and filled with unmistakable disdain.

Alana swallowed hard, refusing to shrink beneath his gaze. "I didn't have a choice."

Adrian let out a humorless chuckle, stepping aside to let her in. "Of course, you didn't. That's what happens when your family sells you to the highest bidder."

Her hands clenched into fists at her sides, but she forced herself to remain composed. She had expected cruelty. She had prepared for it.

Stepping inside, she was immediately enveloped in the overwhelming presence of luxury-marble floors, gilded chandeliers, and an atmosphere so suffocatingly pristine that it made her feel even more like an intruder.

"You'll find that I'm not a generous husband, Alana." Adrian's voice cut through the silence, making her spine stiffen. "You are here to fulfill your end of the deal, nothing more. Do not expect love, kindness, or respect. You won't find any of those things in this house."

Her chest tightened, but she met his gaze head-on. "And what exactly do you expect from me?"

Adrian stepped closer, his presence dominating the space between them. His fingers brushed against her jaw, forcing her to look up at him. The touch was deceptively gentle, but his eyes held nothing but cruelty.

"You already know the answer to that," he murmured. "You belong to me now, whether you like it or not."

Alana's stomach twisted with revulsion. "I'm not your whore," she spat, jerking away from his grasp.

Adrian smirked, a dark amusement dancing in his eyes. "No? Then prove it."

She didn't understand what he meant, but she knew one thing for certain-this marriage was a cage, and he was the one holding the key.

I sat on the edge of the examination table, the crinkle of the sanitary paper sounding like thunder in the sterile room. The doctor didn't even look at me as he confirmed the news: the pregnancy was over. My husband, Keyon, didn't answer my call. He just sent an automated text: "In a meeting." When I returned to our cold mansion, I found his iPad glowing with a message from his "muse," Katina. He was throwing her a secret gala tonight-on our third wedding anniversary. He told her he couldn't wait to escape the "boring" and "draining" atmosphere I created at home. Keyon didn't stumble in until 3 AM, smelling of Katina's perfume with a smear of red on his collar. When I handed him the divorce papers, he laughed in my face. He called me a "glorified housekeeper" with no skills and no future, promising I'd be back in three days begging for a subway ticket. He even bet his friends ten thousand dollars that I wouldn't survive a week without his name. He had his assistant cancel my credit cards and block my gate access before I even reached the end of the driveway. He wanted me to starve. He wanted me to crawl. He sat in his office, mocking the "desperate" woman who pawned her three-million-dollar wedding ring for scrap metal just to pay for a meal. I stood on the rainy curb, watching the man I had protected for three years treat my life like trash. He didn't know about the ultrasound I just threw in the bin. He didn't know that while he was calling me "dull," I was the one secretly writing the code that kept his billion-dollar empire from collapsing. As I slid into a cheap Uber, I opened a hidden, encrypted app on my phone. The screen refreshed to a dashboard for an account Keyon didn't know existed. The balance was ten figures long-the accumulated wealth of "Solaris," the world's most elusive tech genius. Keyon thinks he just evicted a parasite, but he's about to find out he just declared war on the only person who can hit "delete" on his entire life.

I went to the New York City Clerk's office to handle a simple administrative matter, but the woman behind the glass handed me a nightmare instead. It was a certified marriage license from Clark County, Nevada, filed exactly three months ago. My vision blurred as I read the name in the spouse field: Baxter Noel. I was legally married to the ruthless billionaire whose legal team was currently suing me for intellectual property theft and trying to destroy my career. I remembered the conference in Las Vegas and a drink that tasted far too sweet, followed by a twelve-hour black hole in my memory that I had chalked up to exhaustion. When I sought help at my family's estate, my stepmother and sister didn't offer comfort; they stole my passport, shredded my clothes, and framed me for academic plagiarism to strip away my university fellowship. Even Baxter himself looked me in the eye with cold indifference, claiming he didn't know me and promising to have me arrested for fraud if I ever showed him that document again. Within twenty-four hours, I was homeless, jobless, and being hunted by the most powerful man in the city. I couldn't understand why a man who "eats people for breakfast" would be caught in the same trap as a struggling scientist like me. The confusion turned to pure terror when I looked at the witness signature on the license: Gene Mcclain. My mother, who was supposed to have died in a car crash ten years ago, had signed that paper with a fresh, trembling hand only ninety days ago. "I am holding a grenade, and I have no idea when the pin was pulled." Standing in the biting November wind with nothing but a laptop and a marriage license, I realized I was just a pawn in a much deadlier game. I stopped running and began to fight back, determined to use my unwanted status as the billionaire's wife to uncover the truth about the mother who came back from the dead.
